dry vanilla mint with sage, very clean and plasticy
-
mainly oranges/mandarin with some peppermint and laurel/juniper/sage
there's a sweetness to the oranges that's also almost herbal
it's unusual but nice, but you need to like orange/mandarin
-
strong
mint, lavender?, juniper, sage and more corriander is an odd spice, but still works
the mix is something that can help relax (even though it may not seem like it on first sniff - and it will open your sinuses), but with how strong it is, I would save it for when you really need it. or get the bath oil and have it diluted with a tub of water for a couple drops lol
-
definitely red apple!
it's really nice - sweet and juicy apple
maybe some copal underneath? the apple really dominates
-
96 - a light colored oil. went soapy on me (a skin chemistry thing), there's maybe some wet/yellow leather underneath, but when things go soapy on me I know I'm not smelling the rest right
97 - a dark colored oil. a musk (red?) and resins. not sure exactly, but I like it (and got complemented on it day 1)
103 - omg yummy brown/dark leather. I need more
-
wow. very nice
better than I expected too
it's almost sweet - the red musk - which blends nicely with the apple. hints of clove, tobacco, vanilla, but mainly it's red musk and apple (and it's the second apple scent that I REALLY like, the other being the black apple of saturn, which is a completely different apple lol)

this wears very close to my skin
initially it's just cinnamon, then it fades and myrrh comes out and something almost like cola. strange
-
if you like Laughter of Loki or Bub, try this one.
It's not as green spicy and more grassy than Loki and not as sunny as Bub.
it does get a slight astringent smell to it a couple hours in, which fades back down again with the musk becoming the strongest note. I prefer both Loki and Bub to Venus Murica, but I will definitely try it again
-
on me it's earthy (like clay, not dirt) with a lemon bite. It's musty and sharp at the same time.
blood comes out a bit later, mingling with the rest, but it's not a typical dragon's blood scent...it's more like the blood from the Ragnarok series.
maybe a hint of the wood..or maybe the "wood" is the lemony bite?
edit - by day's end it's turned soapy on me, but the rest of it is still there beneath the soap
-
strongly peru balsam and frankincense, maybe powdery myrrh underneath
it's pretty well balanced, no morphing, but it's seems the pb and frank are just not quite right for me
-
it goes on as biting benzoin and lavender, and quickly turns deeper with fig and incense. then settles within a few minutes to just a very soft mix, all note fading soft and together
-
on my skin it's a candy-like orange, very sweet
citrus isn't really good on me, so I'm not going to leave it on, but it doesn't go instant "cleaner" which is good
-
oddly spicy, warm, almost cinnamony. then the rose comes out (which I amp)
-
Salty ocean spray, red kelp, black plum, lychee, sea moss, green musk, hachiya, plum blossom, and matcha.very soft on my skin - floral and salt.. I can't pick anything out specifically because it's so soft and blended
-
bite of patch and labdanum which comes off as a heady, biting floral-like scent. no vanilla. I don't think any saffron. the leather comes out after an our or two, but it's a wet brown leather that's just not that appealing to me.
-
voluminous! I applied a tiny bit to my wrist and I feel like I'm in a cloud of it. My throat is not thanking me, so this will be a pass for me.
The scent itself is middling. It's powdery on my skin.
up close (nose to wrist) I can pick out the sweet myrrh and champaca (which is kind of powerdery itself) and maaaybe a hint of vanilla. The other notes just blend into the cloud of scent that I apparently amp.
*edit - after about an hour it settles some - slightly more vanilla/sandalwood and less powdery and enveloping cloud
-
soapy citrus
that is all
well..I may be forcing some vanilla with my imagination right before the soapy citrus takes over
it's real light and stays close to the skin
-
almost candylike initial sweetness (orange blossom?) then champaca mainly and sandalwood over the sweetness. Very strange.
-
an odd bite of musk? Sun baked saffron. Hint of myrrh, maybe hint of leather underneath, very close to skin and disappears in a few short hours
-
I am going to wear it again and post my thoughts (love it enough to order 2 backup bottles), but I wanted to share that I wore it on a lunch date with the hubby and the woman who owns the cafe/antique shop we were at said
"Someone smells good!"
I quickly chirped that it was me
and she added "I hope you don't take this weird, but it's very unisex."
she continued on how that was good
-
definitely grass, wetter and heavier than Bub, dirt and flowers (vague flowers) under the layer of grass.
-
wet: dark, sweet, sage and juniper bite, leather underneath.
dry : Fades fast to a soft sage with hint of juniper, turns perfumy. Not bad, but no leather
-
this is yummy spice (is it the almond that's cinnamony?) that basically overpowers the sugar cookie. no rum on mine
not the right mix for me
-
Cryophobia
in Yules
my first thought was "Vicks vapor rub" ....only nicer. this doesn't last beyond immediate reaction
it stays very close to the skin and settles quickly...once settled I can pick out individual notes including the grapefruit, which isn't a scent I particularly like. it's white for sure

very pepper, warm, thick spice (thickly sticking in the back of my throat), smoky, vetiver laces through, tobacco brightens it a little
reminds me of heavily spiced cooking pits
let it fully dry down and it's a really nice smoky vetiver with a pepper/cooking spice kick
I don't think I need more, but I'm middling on vetiver - not crazy about it / must have, but sometimes it's very nice on me
