wow. leather! strong leather! but a good worn leather (not old nasty couch like Red Rider) then I get machine oil and the tobacco for an almost sweet blend that is gritty, but also bright with a high/sharp scent in there. it matches the name Rivet.Goth perfectly. I wouldn't say this is a pretty or nice scent, but there's something about it I definitely like. It seems dark and dirty and makes me want to slather it on and do dirty things a few hours later the leather has taken over again and is wearing more like old couch leather that's a bit oily That's a shame. If it stayed with the initial leather and the machine oil/tobacco absolute I would have bought a bottle, but this is just not a good morph on me 8 hours later just the leather - it's strong and has lasted all day. so strong the little dab on my wrist is all I've been able to smell all day. it's mellowed out to a nice leather, but with the rarity of this scent I will save my $ for something I like better

initial sniff skin and imp is dark, incensey with nothing much distinguishable. it's nice but faint. 2 hours later I get a wonderful scent coming off my wrist, but I can only smell it if I literally put my nose on my wrist and sniff it's much softer, a tad more resiny/floral and works so well on my skin! I just can't smell it unless I'm actually trying to

ooh very pink fruity musk; soft, sweet, but with body I just want to keep sniffing and it's not something I would normally wear, but it SCREAMS loligoth perfectly! I can instantly picture white and pink frilly dress and a big fruity lollipop but just a few minutes on my skin and it really starts to fade

smells like sugary, fizzy, lemon lime in the imp on my skin it turns a bit sour I still get lemon, but like bad cleaning lemon - ugh!

argh! it smells so nice and fades so quickly!!! *nose to wrist* I can't make out anything in particular anymore. man, I wish I had a full imp so that I could slather it on and (hopefully) bask in it for longer. I do get some cherry and some incense/musk *edit -later the same day I get the musky vanilla coming out more and it's niiiiice

English rose, lilac, frankincense, violet leaf, French lavender, and wisteria encased in amber and splashed lightly with a ghastly garden herb tincture. VERY floral. But, it's not too overpowering and it doesn't go soapy or clean. It has a nice mix of flowers that round out to one floral scent, a little heavier on the rose than the others. Usually rose goes crazy bad headache strong on me lol - but here I can smell it in without being knocked over by it for me, this is the best rose scent I've tried I still don't think I want to smell like a rose though so I wont be keeping it, but it was nice to not have to wash it off immediately (it's 2 hours after putting it on and no headache!)

I get strawberry or red berries very sweet but with an underlying grossness like something dark and rotting

on me it has a soft side that's kind of herby and green, but there's an almost acrid bite. not quite astringent or lemony, just a sharp acrid bite over the softer layers. That fits the reptoid image - you don't even see the bite coming.

ooooooh in the bottle I get all with cognac strongest and on me it's a rather pleasant mix of all the notes that still leads with the cognac. normally I don't like booze scents but this is a rich sweetness tempered by the leather and wood and even the tobacco

interesting I get the benzoin and sandalwood. there's a sweetness to it I'll attribute to the tonka, but I'm not getting any nutmeg..wait...upon close sniffing I get a hint of it. it's fading very fast (while I sit here and type) and turning a bit sweeter the hubby likes and it's faded down to a nice soft and sweet sandalwood

talk about disappointed. I normally amp cinnamon and violet in good ways but I get neither of those here it just smells like flowery baby powder on me

like red hots candy (cinnamon) but also very smoky! just did a little on each wrist and the smoky spicy of it made it almost hard to breath (I'm glad I didn't put any on my neck like I normally do) after an hour or two the smokyness calms down and the cinnamon candy continues to stand out another 2 hours and I think it's really fading...wish I had the imp with me to add a little more! a good imp to have if you like smoky cinnamon!

I'm allergic to most "perfumes" - especially if they had citrus or floral extracts. I'd put them on and bam! immediate skin rash that itches like crazy!!! so I'd written off ever wearing smell-goods...till I found BPAL. I've tried a few dozen scents with no skin reactions!!! so far only London has given me a headache (wow, that's strong roses) and Jack was just too overpowering on the pumpkin to leave on and see if it would give me a headache (I tried another pumpkin too, and I just amp it so much it's overwhelming) but I'm so torn right now. I just got Strangler Fig in and put it on. I've been sneezing all morning, my mouth is filmy, and my eyes kinda tingle/are mildly irritated. but it smells SOOOO good on me! argh! should I just stay away from it even though I like it?? anyone have any advice?

In the bottle and when I first put it on were about the same - very light with too many subtle herby, slightly floraly, yet grounded notes to pick out. It wears on me soft all day long not fading but not standing out either. However, when I started to sweat that evening ( ) it reacted with my chemisty to blossom! and not in a flowery sort of way. The whole scent just bloomed off of me in a very pleasant way that was subtley intoxicating It's a very nice mix of timeless herbs/forest. Until then I was a little ho-hum about it as I like my scents to stand out a bit more, but now I think I'll keep it around to try again!

For me it's not a scent to fall asleep to. It smells strongly of lemon cookies or lemon-sugar cookies on my skin so I got rather hungry for girl scout cookies lol. that's not a bad scent, but it was driving me crazy rather than helping me get to sleep. but if you like lemon scents it's a good one

I've looked through all the past Halloween scents...am I missing one? Does anyone know if there's a pumpkin scent that includes cinnamon? or does anyone have any recommendations for which pumpkin scent to layer with which cinnamon scent? thanks!

on me it's much too sweet. Normally Dragon's Blood works well on me, but this one came on super strong and sweet wet several hourse later it's light a very light perfume with a hint of something darker and metallic btw - what color liquid is it? I got mine as a decant and I was expecting it to be more red as it as dragon's blood...but it's not

I was hoping for something a bit darker to me it smells like Sweet Tarts - and this scent was enhanced on my body. Not necessarily bad, but I don't want to smell like sweet tart candy ;p
