This is mostly leather and metal on me. The metal hits me first, then the leather starts to assert itself, with maybe a bit of earthy tobacco. It's a soft and clean metallic scent. I'm reminded of the smell of water coming out of the hose in the summer. I'm not sure why it reminds me of that, it must be the rust. This is a really interesting scent. And by interesting I mean it's pretty evocative and true to its description, just not for me.

I'm really impressed at how the Bat's Day scents really embody their namesakes. With this one, before I opened the vial, I envisioned wine-colored crushed velvet in a dark candle-lit room and that's exactly what it delivered. I'm not typically a fan of the heavier, resinous scents, but really enjoyed this one. I can detect the musk, incense, and amber, and maybe a bit of plum, all of which were almost overpowering when first applied. After about 15 minutes or so, it drys down to something quite beautiful. Dark, mysterious, smoky. The throw is still strong, but it's not broadcasting quite as strongly as it was. After about 30 minutes it starts to turn a bit powdery on me. I still like it, even at this stage. Not quite as romantic as before, but still intriguing.

I love cherry scents, so I had a feeling this was going to be win for me. What I mostly get from this is cherry with some vanilla, but it's not an overly foody, tart, or artificial cherry. It's more of a smooth, creamy, sophisticated cherry. The scent becomes even more creamy and lovely after the dry-down, and even though it is a somewhat close scent, I like it more the longer it's on. I don't really detect the other notes (and luckily not the liquer), or at least can't pick them out, but they keep the scent grounded, and stop it from becoming a cherry pie or maraschino cherry scent. Gothabilly is pure love for me. So sad that bottles of this cannot be easily acquired.

My first impression of this was straight-up ginger ale. Fizzy, sharp, overly sweet, kind of citrusy. But then I found that this ginger ale is a bit too lemony, it's warm and flat. It's the soda that's been sitting in an open can outside of the refrigerator for a day or two. I don't care for this blend at all, but bubbly scents are not really my thing. I guess smelling like a carbonated beverage just doesn't do it for me.

I was expecting Loli Goth to be sweeter and more candy-like, but it's grounded with a "perfumey" note (pink musk?), which tones down the fruitiness and makes this less of a pure foody blend. I mostly smell the peach and maybe some strawberry, but not as herbal/natural as in Strawberry Moon. It's bubbly, fresh, and light - a nice summer scent. I'm enjoying this more on the dry-down, the muskiness is fading and the fruitiness is coming out more. It's very lovely. So sad that this scent was so limited.
