In the imp, I'm getting blue and white musk, rose and lemon. Hrm. On my skin, this is very strongly lemon and rose, we'll see if it lets up at all. No change, unfortunately, and not my thing.

In the imp, I'm getting red musk, plum, and pomegranate. Hrm. On my skin, this is red musk, patchouli, and pomegranate. Hrm. We'll see what the Mme does. Ends up turning into a juicy pomegranate and vanilla, going to give it a second skin test to see what it ends up doing, may end up testing it against the tester of the proto I have coming. Yeah, this is going to need the test against the proto, and I'm not quite sure if I like the pomegranate/vanilla combo.

In the imp, I'm getting hazelnut and myrrh, I think. On my skin, this is primarily hazelnut and honey, kinda like Sleipnir. The more I've got this on the more I'm reminded of Sleipnir, so I'm thinking a death match may be in order here.

In the imp, I'm getting mint, seaweed, and honey, a really interesting scent. On my skin, seaweed and mint and ambergris. Erm. Not for me.

In the imp, I'm getting just about everything - red currant, sake, plum flowers, and cherry blossom. On my skin, this is mostly red currant, sake, and the flowers. Mmm. ...And it's gone. Huh. I've a feeling that sake has a tendency to kill a blend on me.

Chocolate and cassia in the imp, promising. On my skin, the same, but the coconut is coming roaring to the forefront. Oh no, please, coconut, keep your head down. Aaand coconut ends up taking an even footing with the rest of this, but I like the proto that I have of this better.

Holy shit. I cannot believe I am currently holding a tester of this. Holy. Shit. Thanks so much to my AMAZING fairy over on LJ, wren08! I don't know if she's on here, but, still, WOW! In the imp, this is a deep, woody, spicy musk to me. On my skin, this is a red musky, spicy vanilla with a darker undertone. We'll see what this does (please let me NOT fall for the ultimate BPALicorn, please!). Turns into a spicy, cakey vanilla on me. ...It's definitely nice. But, it's not anything I need to desperately seek more of. And I think I'm going to be passing this on to someone who's had a rough time of it just recently who just bought from me.

In the imp, I'm getting vanilla musk and florals, a really nice scent. On my skin, it's mostly the florals, but we'll see where it goes. The vanilla musk comes out under, and I can't quite tell if I like it enough for a bottle, so I think this'll be a second skin test. Ends up being mostly florals and lily on the second skin test, going to pass it on.

Dragon's blood and a stronger floral note in the imp, amps to almost all lily/florals. Urgh. Not quite for me.

In the decant, I'm getting musk and spice. Hrm. On my skin, I'm getting the almond blossom, musk, and spices. Mmmm. Second full skin test, just to see what it'll do. I'm getting almond blossom, lovely spices, and musk. This is going to be an unexpected bottle, methinks. Also, by some miracle, I don't get any wood out of this!

This is a light, sharp scent, and I definitely get the coconut in the imp. On my skin, lots of coconut. Damnit, please, change? Yeah, really going funky, need get off now.

In the bottle, this is very reminiscent of Dorian, only with what I think is a stronger white musk note. On my skin, this is white musk, tea leaves, and just a hint of jasmine that I'm hoping will be drowned out. We'll see how this goes. Moved this onto a second skin test, because the end stage I got on the one wrist test (vanilla and tea and the fougere) was absolutely amazing, but on the full skin test here, I'm mostly getting the white musk and jasmine combining to create a similar smell to insect repellent (and if it works, hey, I'm all for it, I've been getting eaten alive at work here), and that gentle final stage I got last night just isn't appearing. Gonna give it another full skin test tomorrow and give it one more chance to get what I'm hoping to get.

In the imp, I'm getting milk, honey, and almonds. On my skin, milk and honey and almonds and mmmm. We'll see how this goes, but I've a feeling this is going onto a second skin test. On the full skin test, a wonderful honey almond grainy scent with a hint of milk. Definitely going on the bottle buy list.

This is a spicy piney musky scent in the imp; on my skin, it's the same spicy, musky, bit of pine scent. Hrm... And then it goes cocoa spicey musk. Mmm. Second skin test, please let me not be falling for the BPALico - erm, BPALideer? Ends up being a bit too piney and musky for me on the second full skin test, so I can pass it onto someone else, I think.

In the imp, this is milk and ginger and orange. On my skin, this is ginger and honey and orange and maybe a bit of milk? This is really interesting, we'll see what this does. Going onto a second skin test just for how interesting this is. Ginger and orange amp on the full skin test, just not for me.

In the decant, I'm getting berry, musk, and a bit of carnation, I think. On my skin, this is amber, carnation, and heliotrope, and a touch funky. We'll see what this does. Yeah, the carnation and amber and musk and heliotrope are making this go funky, sadly.

In the imp, I think I'm getting the lilac, golden musk, and beeswax, smells really interesting. On my skin, this translates to golden musk, beeswax, ginger, and a bit of tea, I think? We'll see what this does. Gonna give this a fuller skin test, can't quite figure out what it's doing. On the second full skin test, the ginger, bergamont, and tea amp, and it's just not quite for me.

In the imp, I'm getting the mandarin, yuzu, and I think the tuberose. On my skin, it's mostly mandarin and yuzu, like Aizen-Myoo. Huh. We'll see how this goes. And then the tonka, black tea, and laubdanum decide to amp the hell out of the blend, all but smothering the orange. Ehh, I've got Bakeneko, and that's better on me. Off it goes.

In the imp, I'm getting the smoky musk, ambergris, and tonka, a very interesting scent. On my skin, this is ambergris and tonka, and very reminiscent of dicks, shall we say. Hrm. We'll see what this does. Gonna give this a full skin test, cause what I'm smelling is really interesting, but I just can't decide if it's something I could swing. Ends up being a bit too dickish on the full skin test, and I don't want to walk around smelling like a dick. Just saying.

Got this as a wonderful fairy from Kaylee - thanks so much again! In the bottle, I'm getting the skin musk, the carnation, and I think the patchouli/sandalwood. On my skin, the patchouli and carnation seem to be amping; we'll see what this does, but I really hope this turns out well... Not quite sure what I'm getting here, maybe the skin musk and honey and carnation? Gonna give this a fuller skin test. Ends up being a really close to the skin scent, mostly the patchouli and sandalwood, which is teh sad.

In the bottle, I'm get smoky cinnamon. On my skin, again, smoky cinnamon, with a hint of opium? ...And stinging. OW. Ends up being smoky cinnamon and opium, drying down to smoky opium. Yeah, not my thing.

Amber, and a bit of hay I think in the imp? On my skin, I'm getting the hay note. Hrm.

In the imp, I'm getting really bright fruits. On my skin, it's the same bright fruits with cherry blossom, no tea just yet, we'll see what happens. Mostly juicy tropical citrus on me, and just not quite my thing.

In the imp, I'm getting berries and iris and amber. On my skin, this is iris and amber. Hrm. We'll see how this goes. Ends up going really powdery, not quite for me.

In the imp, I'm getting rum and chardonnay and tonka, methinks. On my skin, this is leather, with everything else underneath. Hrm... Ends up being this really sexy wine/rum/leather scent on me, going onto a full skin test. On the full skin test, the leather dominates, with the leather being the note in Liz and CC: Female that I love and is amazing on me, with the wine and the rum resting underneath to support it. Definitely going to be a bottle purchase.
