In the frimp, I get really sharp myrrh, first and foremost, and it makes me a little edgy. On my skin, it's pretty much straight up sharp myrrh, with jasmine and rose lurking underneath. Not really sure how my skin chemistry's going to work, but I've got a bad feeling on this one. It's the myrrh, really sharp, at first, but it dries down into a rose/jasmine blend. Eh. Swaps/sales.

'09 blend In the decant, this is a very golden scent, with just a hint of orange. Very reminiscent of sunlight. On my skin, this is a faint gold sort of scent, getting the amber, with the rest of it lurking underneath. Wondering where the orange part of the scent is... Well, it came out an hour into the scent and turned it into soap. :/ Swaps/sales.

This is probably my biggest risk with the decants, but it sounds hella interesting. In the decant, it's very gold, metallic, and a bit soapy. On my skin, this is lemon wood polish. ...Bwa? This is metallic lemon wood polish on me, and just worlds of no. Swaps/sales.

In the decant, yep, that's wine all right. On my skin, it's really living up to its name; wine jelly, with a bit of currant and plum, I'm thinking. Ehh. This isn't really impressing me thus far. We'll see how this goes. It's very red, a bit boozy, and very much a jelly sort of scent. Not really for me; to the swaps.

In the decant, I'm getting pastry, almond, and cherry, not so sure where the apricot may be lurking in here. And on my skin, it's pretty much the same, like a cherry-almond muffin, and it's still really good. I'm thinking that the apricot's mixing in with the cherries in this, and slowly coming to the forefront. Definitely liking this on the drydown; going to be seeking a bottle of this.

Got this as a frottle in a recent swap (thanks again, naughteblonde!), interested to try it out. In the bottle, this is really green and sharp, and I think I might be getting eucalyptus? It doesn't really smell that appealing. Going to just barely dab it on the back of my hand from the cap. On my skin, it's this really nasty scent, similar to what I got in the bottle. Need to get even that little bit off of me, NOW. Swaps/sales, sadly.

This is the first of my Yule decants to make it to me, and the first to get tested. Probably the one I'm the most eager about in this batch, too. In the decant, this is a fruity explosion with hints of sugar cane and caramel lurking underneath. On my skin, this is primarily orange and plum, with sugar cane to sweeten it up, and I think caramel and some of the other fruits and flowers lurking underneath. Really interesting blend; we'll see what it does on me. It ends up being fairly similar to Sugar Moon, only there's a bit more emphasis on the fruits than the sugar elements, and with tropical flowers and caramel added. It stays close to the skin, too. I think this one's going to be worth tracking down as a bottle.

In the imp, I get rose, obviously, but with a bit of a saltier aquatic note. On my skin, it's a soapier sort of rose, almost salty. Not really liking how its smelling so far. This just goes to soapy, salty rose, not really that good on me. Passing it on in swaps/sales.

In the imp, this is a mix of strawberryish orangeish floral with a bit of a kick from the poppy. Really interested to see how this turns out on my skin. On my skin, it's almost exactly like it was in the bottle, the mix between the strawberry, orange, and carnation and hibiscus, with just a bit of a kick from the black poppy. And it's really, really good on me. Unless this does a sudden violent turn on me, I'm thinking this needs to be upgraded to a bottle.

In the decant, I'm getting honey and what's either herbs or incense. Interesting. On my skin, it turns into a meadowy sort of smell, very sharp and green. The honey and florals mellows it out a bit, but it's still first and foremost an herbal meadow, and it's not anything that really appeals to me. To the swaps/sales.

In the decant, I get dark sunlight, or, in note terms, chamomile and amber, with a hint of frankincense. Hmm. Once on my skin, I'm getting chamomile and amber, with a hint of frankincense rising that slowly comes to dominate the blend, with a bit of an herbal side to it. We'll see what this does. And then it goes to nothing. Not even five minutes later, and I can barely smell this, except for a faint chamomile scent. Not working on me, sadly, so to the swaps with it.

In the frimp, this smells vaguely like cologne. Hm. On my skin, this is very, very much cologne, which makes me think there's tobacco flower mixed in here somewhere. I'm going to give it a more extensive skin test at a later date, I think, cause I want to see how the effects of the blend work on its own.

Got frimped this in a recent swap, interested to see how it turns out, cause lavender can take a blend to nothing on me, and patchouli and vetiver are two of my death notes, but the rest could balance it out and make it all interesting like. In the imp, this smells like lavender, patchouli, and vetiver. Uhm. On my skin, this turns into a combination of patchouli and vetiver, with a faint floral edge. We'll see what time does to it. And the patchouli and vetiver wins out, sadly. Not for me. Swaps/sales.

In the imp, I'm getting a really resinous scent, not really sure how to place it. Once on my skin, I'm getting a dirt note, with patchouli or something else, either patchouli or vetiver, and either way it's one of my death notes. Need to get this off, now. Swaps/sales.

In the imp, I think I'm getting a combination of the fig and the mango, for what smells like fruit bubblegum. Once on my skin, I'm getting the mango and the fig and the tea, with the patchouli leading under, turning this into a sweet bubblegum with the patchouli darkening things a bit. We'll see how this turns out. So far, I'm liking the sweet fruitiness of this; going to try a more extensive skin test to figure it out for sure.

In the frimp, I'm getting an odd mix of what I think is almond, sandalwood and rose. Interested to see how this turns out. On my skin, it's a combination of almond and rose, a really sweet smell. Hm. We'll see how this goes. And it pretty much dries down to straight up rose on me. I appear to be amping rose to high heaven. Swaps/sales.

In the frimp, I'm getting what I think is a blend of the sandalwood, the woods, and the vetiver. Not a good sign. On my skin, it's a mix between the sandalwood, musk, and amber, with the other notes lurking below. We'll see how this goes. I'm not really sure what I'm getting here, thus far; going to try a more extensive skin test later.

Just got a bottle of this in a swap, eager to try it out. In the bottle, it's a mix between the florals, the fruits, and the cream. On my skin, I'm getting a mix between the gardenia and the neroli that gently mellows out; a really bright, fresh scent. Not getting the vanilla amber, peach, or cream just yet. The honey, amber, and cream come in a bit later to mellow out the scent a bit, but it's still a very bright, beautiful scent, with a sweeter, gentler edge. Definitely happy with this.

That happened with mine a while ago, back in September. There are probably a lot of orders that need to be harvested/etc, so they may not have gotten to your batch yet. Plus, the fifteenth was just barely a week ago, and that was right around a glut of new updates. So, don't worry yet. It may not show for a while.

'09 Blend Just got this, has been sitting at home for about three days now, eager to test this. In the bottle, it smells like a mix of coffee and dark chocolate, really, really good. On my skin, it's an amazing mix of chocolate, cinnamon, and brown sugar, with just a hint of coffee lurking underneath. It stays pretty much the same throughout, and is absolutely amazing. So glad that I took the plunge and ordered this unsniffed; this is definitely going on my will take backups of part of my wishlist.

Just got this today, it's been sitting for two days at home, eager to test. In the bottle, this is a mix of vague fruits and florals, smelling kinda like Flora did, but more of a delicate blend. On my skin, this is a really vague floral blend, delicate, with a bit of musk. It's a cooler scent on me, and I definitely get the sense of peach blossoms in the moonlight. A keeper, for sure. Also, have added this little ditty on principle: YOU REMIND ME OF THE BABE! Note: Upon retesting Katharina (Illyria scents), I'm finding a lot of similarities between the two, if you're looking for a GC equivalent.

Ohh, wow. I just got a decant of this frimped to me in a recent order (thanks again, Nightchylde!), and it is amazing. The chocolate and the caramel and the sugar and the vanilla mix together in an absolutely amazing way on me, and yes, would defiintely want to smell like this after a shower (I live in a dorm, so I use the bath oils as moisturizer). Going on my next Trading Post order, for sure.

This smells vaguely like O in the decant; honey, amber, a really faint golden scent. Once on my skin, it's really reminiscent of O, only with a woodier aspect, which I think is the sandalwood and the oude. Don't get the currant so much. The wood is combining with the honey and amber on me in a really weird way so that I'm getting a sort of cologne. I think I'm going to be passing this on to others.

This smells like floral cigarettes in the imp. This is probably not going to turn out well. I got just a little of it on a fingertip, and it smells exactly like it did in the imp. Uhm, no. Swaps now.
