In the tester, I'm getting a golden scent, really similar to L'Estate, but with a bitterer edge. On my skin, it's a mix between honey and the frankincense and musk. Not quite sure what to think of this yet, we'll see what it does. Ends up being a honeymuskish incense blend, not my usual, but will keep the imp, as it got me a compliment from my advising prof.

Got a tester of this in a recent swap; it's very sharp, probably vetiver and smoke in there at the least. On my skin, it's pretty sharp, very smoky/firey. Probably not going to go well.
-
In the imp, this is pretty straightforward; apricot and patchouli. On my skin, they're pretty even, but nothing too awe-inspiring. We'll see how this goes.

In the imp, this is really, really sharp, smelling very much like burning fires and mystical spices. On my skin, it takes on a bit more of a colognish smell. Hurm.

A tribute to the opium den cum bawdyhouses of Shanghai in the 1930’s. Golden amber, blonde tobacco, Sudanese black coconut, rich caramel, black currant, white opium and delphinium laced with a sensual blend of Asian spice. '06 Blend In the decant, this is creamy and sweet with a bit of a medicinal edge. We'll see how this plays on my skin. On my skin, there's a bit of creaminess that ends up having a lot of spice to it. We'll see how this plays out. Ends up being spicy Play-Doh b/c of the coconut. Damnit. Swaps/sales.

In the imp, this is all red musk and spices, a vague cousin to Now Winter Nights Enlarge, only minus the sweeter end. Pretty much the same on my skin, only a bit sharper than I was expecting. Ends up being a bit too sharp for my tastes; swaps/sales.

Oh god. This smells like breakfast on Christmas morning, when my dad made us all pancakes. Amazing. And on my skin, it's pretty straightforward pancakes and syrup, not something I want to wear on its own. However, layered with Blackberry Jam and Scones? Oh god, yes. Will keep the imp, but I think I'm going to be seeking a bottle of Blackberry Jam and Scones.

In the decant, this smells like blackberry and some sort of pastry, pretty much what it says on the bottle. On my skin, the blackberry ends up balancing pretty evenly with the scone-y end of things. We'll see if it becomes overwhelmingly blackberry like Couple Counsulting and Enpon did, but if this balances out, and if it works well with the scent I'm putting on my other wrist (MVJBA Pancake Breakfast), I may need to start seeking a bottle of it. And it does. To the DISOs, Batman!

In the decant, this smells similar to PSX54; hot chocolate, a creamier note that might be the marshmallows, and a plasticy note that might be the googly eyes or the glue. Once on my skin, the glue, which smells vaguely coconutty, amps. ...Shiiit. We'll see this goes, but I've not got a good feeling abut this. Ends up being glue and felt; don't particularly want to smell like a kindergarten craft table, sadly.

In the imp, this smells like a lighter chocolate and a faint floral. On my skin, this is a pretty equal mix of chocolate and light violets; it smells vaguely like Silver Phoenix from this year. We'll see what this does. The violets make it vaguely like Silver Phoenix, and the chocolate doesn't really show. Don't really need a duplicate scent, so going to pass this on.

In the decant, this smells similar to the Vulva scents from the Lupers, specifically Giant Vulva, though that's probably b/c they both have the skin musk/sugar cane note. On my skin, this is definitely a cousin of Giant Vulva, though not quite with the depth that the other has. We'll see what this does. This ends up being a version of Giant Vulva without nearly the depth that the former has, and ends up being a bit soapy because of this and fades quickly. Going to pass this one onto someone else, I think.

In the decant, this is a very, very light scent; I think I can catch musk in there, maybe sandalwood? Either way, definitely light and beautiful. On my skin, it comes out a bit more, a musky scent with a slight edge from the sandalwood; it's threatening to go a bit cologne-y on me, so we'll see what it does. Sadly it stays musk for a brief time before fading to nothing. Not for me, sadly. Swaps/sales.

I think this is an aged imp, as I don't recognize the label (more of the abstracted phoenix, and the phoenix is in the center with the lab's name and the web address on the bottom). In the imp, I'm getting musk and florals, which may mean the lemon has aged out, and if that's the case, oh god, yes, please let that be the case. On my skin, this is mostly musk, nothing else. Hrm. We'll see what this does, but I don't think this is going to be a bottle; maybe I'll keep the imp. Softens down to a powdery musk, not really my thing. Swaps/sales.

In the frimp, this is a paler red musk, with a sweeter edge from the strawberry leaf and grapefruit. This could be quite amazing. On my skin, this is a beatiful fruity musk scent, really sexy. Barring any horrible left turns, this may be a bottle scent. No changes, red usk, only not as intense as normal, and fruit. Definite bottle.

Musk and myrrh. Oh, come on, please, let the citrus and the rose come out to play with the musk... On my skin, the citrus and the rose come up a bit more, but the myrrh's still pretty strong. We'll see what this does. Fades down to generic rose. Ehh. Swaps/sales.
-
In the imp, there is definitely a lot of patchouli going on here. I hope the rest of the blend comes out. On my skin, it's pretty much single-note patchouli. This is probably not going to turn out well. And yep, single-note patchouli. Swaps/sales.

In the decant, I'm getting a sweet, spicy, smoky sort of smell. Not really sure what to think of it. On my skin, I'm getting a cinnamony sort of spice, with a definite booze and smoke note... and a bit of a cologne note. Bwa? Ends up being boozy and smoky, a very masculine scent. Definitely not what I was expecting from this. oO

In the imp, I'm getting the pinot noir and the myrrh; it seems really similar to either Lilith or Loviatar, and those didn't work that well on me. On my skin, it's pretty much sandalwood and myrrh. Maybe the wine note will come out again? We'll see how this goes. Ends up being pretty much straight up sandalwood and myrrh; not much for me.
-
In the imp, this smells really similar to Hymn; incense, florals, with a touch of sandalwood. On my skin, it's pretty much incense and sandalwood. Ehhh. We'll see if it does anything interesting on the drydown. The rose and lily amp, drowning out the incense and sandalwood. Nothing I particularly like; swaps/sales.
-
In the imp, I'm getting a nice crisp linen note, smells like laundry drying on a line. On my skin, it's pretty much the same. Not quite sure how I feel about it, we'll see what the drydown does. Ends up being a bit too intensely linen for me, so I'm going to pass on this one. Swaps/sales.

In the decant, this smells like mint schnapps, with some coconut garnish thrown on top. Maybe there's some chocolate and vanilla in there somewhere, but they're hiding. On my skin, it's the same, with the chocolate coming out a bit, but threatening to go out to plastic. We'll see what happens here. Unfortunately, the drink straddles the line of plasticky with the coconut that threatens to make me heave. Swaps/sales.

In the decant, this is a really warm, spicy scent. Liking this, a lot. On my skin, it's pretty much the same. Ooh. I'm definitely sensing clove and carnation in here, maybe a bit of amber? Depending on what the clove does here, I may be getting a bottle of this. And now, just because I said that, it turns into a painful green-and-clove scent on my skin. Need to get it off, now. Swaps/sales.
-
Why hello there, lavender. Something tells me that you dominate this blend and will thus be taking all of it into nothingness. ...Well, not quite. Something in this turns this into nasty, nasty cologne, like coldandsleepy up there. Need to get this off, pretty much now. Swaps/sales.

In the decant, I get citrusy rose doing a balancing act with patchouli, pepper, and sandalwood; the later three can be death notes, so we'll see what the skin decides to do. Once on, it's rose and citrus at first, with the patchouli-pepper-sandalwood following quickly behind. Damnit. We'll see if it balances out. The rose-amber-citrus tries to fight with the pepper-patchouli-sandalwood, but it doesn't win out, sadly. Swaps/sales.

I've never tested any of this note prior to this, but this definitely nails the concept of silver; shimmery and delicate. On my skin, this is really beautiful; again, can't pin down the notes, but it's really delicate and shimmery, almost opalescent. Barring any sudden turns, this may be a bottle. It's a beautiful blend, and still staying strong. Getting a bottle of this.
