When your favorite GC blends are discontinued

Have you tried reading through the reviews for the Macabray? It might just depress you, but a lot of the time people will review perfumes against each other like.. AngelicRuin compared it to Snow White: http://www.bpal.org/topic/51369-the-macabray/page__view__findpost__p__1312198 or inurbanus comparing it to Cloister Graveyard in the Snow: http://www.bpal.org/topic/51369-the-macabray/page__view__findpost__p__1329715 I'm sure there are a ton more. -
I wear this basically every time I wash my hair. The vetiver is crazy strong when my hair is still wet, but once it dries, everything settles into a nice, sexy vanilla. I constantly get compliments on it from those closest to me.

IMPLACABLE BEAUTIFUL TYRANT When, with flame all around him aspirant, Stood flushed, as a harp-player stands, The implacable beautiful tyrant, Rose-crowned, having death in his hands; And a sound as the sound of loud water Smote far through the flight of the fires, And mixed with the lightning of slaughter A thunder of lyres. Golden amber, frankincense, white ginger, and oudh. In honor of apparently being the first review, I unscrewed my bottle to sniff the hair gloss (which I've never done before). It smells almost like a very sweet patchouli in the bottle. It definitely sent me back to the notes saying, "is there patch in there?". I wanted this as an alternate (less sexy) hair gloss to wear to work and patch is definitely not my-office-friendly. In my hair, it's sweet but with an almost watery quality to it. The oudh is very strong at first and there is a smokey note that I was hoping would stick around (it didn't). The ginger is definitely what's contributing to the "almost watery" quality I'm getting. Now that my hair is drying, it's got a watery/earthy/peaty sweet quality. The biggest standout notes for me are white ginger and oudh. The frankincense is calling in support from way back in the back (it's a note that tends to disappear on me) and the amber lays out a nice sweetness to pull everything together. It feels like a very feminine gloss, definitely more work friendly than Snake Oil (my current go-to gloss). And definitely very spring/summery -- almost floral or tropical in its sweetness. Also, work appropriate! Yay!
-
Hmm, have you sniffed her? I wonder how prominent the floral notes are. *goes to search reviews* I don't find the floral notes to be prominent at all. I had actually forgotten there were florals until I posted the description. Most floral notes give me a massive headache, but Liz is lovely.
-
Liz? A light, feminine vanilla floral perfume and a swirl of smoke and leather.

Finding BPAL blends similar to Dior perfumes....

You could try finding some Black Butterfly Moon: Lady of the Night orchid, benzoin, opopponax, currant, black chypre, white gardenia, ambergris, damp, wooded mosses, and black lily. I have no idea how rare it is, but I think it matches in spirit in several ways. -
Have you sniffed Male Nude, Arms Upstretched? It was with the 2011 Lupers I think. Dark musk, linen and chypre. Some interesting GCs: Incantation: Deep, wispy, and unfathomably dark: vetiver, dark woods, crumbling and burnt black sandalwood and a drop of lemon rind. Coyote: The warmth of doeskin, dry plains grasses and soft, dusty woods warmed by amber and a downy, gentle coat of deep musk. Aziraphale: Ethereal musk, blonde woods, and dusty Bible accord. And another old LE: The School House: Dandelion, white clover, balsam fir logs, and birchwood switches.

What is your favorite fairy tale, persona, or motif? What imagery does the story/person/thing evoke for you? Do you like or hate how it was handled by a movie or show? How about illustrations and pictures on the subject? Any you are particularly in love with? I think I answered this at length in the thread. How are you with ethically sourced (read: found in the woods on the ground, on the beach, etc.) formerly living bits? Examples: feathers, butterfly wings, fossilized teeth/bone, clean-but-not fossilized bone. Go for it! Would you rather have half of something that was super fabulous in conception, but ultimately too much to pull off completely in the time frame(although still fully functional? Yes. Do what you want and then send it my way. Is there something specifically in fairytales you do NOT want to see? Really, really graphic violence and incest. And would you be limited to the idea of 'fairytales' or would you be happy with crossing over into 'origin stories' or 'mythology'? DO IT. If you've mentioned that purple is a favorite color, which shades do you prefer? Jewel tones -- so vivid but darkish. If in your questionnaire you talked about different styles or listed a number of favorite stories, now that we've been talking about the subject, has anything sort of popped into your head as a "you know I REALLY wish my artist would do something with X story/theme/subject/style." ? I do like Art Deco and Art Nouveau, but I would also really like whatever style you are most comfortable with. I'd rather have a piece you are comfortable and confident making than something you bent over backwards to make in a style I like, but weren't as comfortable in. I'd like to see your expertise. How do you feeel about nudity? I'm not opposed. How do you feel about more practical crafty kinds of things, rather than more traditional "art"? Like would you be ok with a decorated box or bag, or something like that? I would love it. Would you like a retold fairy tale (in poem or story form) written by your artist as part of your swap? Sure! How do you feel about receiving a recipe of some sort based off your faerie tale of choice? Yessssss. Or say a meal plan you could do for a day or like a dinner party or something? Okay, yes, this would be fun. How do you feel about anime in general? I'm down with it. What kind of bodyshapes appeal to you in pin up art, male and female? Curvy, but realistic lady shapes. How do you feel about excerpts in your art? Are words okay, or would you rather leave language to the imagination? You do what you want. What is your favorite grimms tale? This is haaaaaaaard. Seriously, I don't even know. New As of 10 Feb: Would you mind getting extra non fairytale goodies along with the required item? Like teas, bacon caramels, soap? Sure! Would you enjoy a wearable item? something hand knit by chance? I'd love it. The asker of this question sent me a pair of wrist warmers last year and I wear them ALL THE TIME. She's a fantastic knitter. New As of 11 Feb: What kinds of things do you like to eat? All kinds of things. We're serious foodies. Oh, except not mushroom-truffles. Those kind of taste like feet to me. No matter how I have 'em, then end up just being gross. And I love mushrooms. But bllerrrrgh. If you were my patron, is there are particular animal (or animals, or animal tale) from a faerie tale/myth/modern tale/legend that you love or emphasize with? No. New As of 12 Feb: Do you have a particular house color palette? I think I already said this -- we have a very nice neutral light taupe wall color. I tend to decorate in browns and jewel tones. New As of 13 Feb: If you were my patron, what would you be hoping for in miniature? Whatever you are planning on sending me.

I liked lavender when I was younger -- it was basically all I wore perfume-wise, but when I got into BPAL, I dunno, I was just done with it. The lab's lavender note is also harsher in a way than I like. Anyway, I've been avoiding lavender perfume for a few years now, but I got some TKO in a swap as a frimp. And I was a little curious about it since everyone raves about it all the time. At first sniff it's a somewhat harsh lavender. Very strong lavender with maybe a hint of vanilla beneath it if you really look. Wet is the same as the sniff, but I think the lavender actually rises to the top and the vanilla just totally disappears for the moment. It's almost like italian dressing -- the lavender just floats on top like oil, while the vanilla sinks to the bottom like herbs. But after about ten minutes, they play together nicely. The lavender recedes a bit and the vanilla steps forward. And the rest of the time it is on, that continues until eventually I'm let with a nice toasted marshmallow scent and no lavender at all. I have been wearing this on a daily basis lately because I was having some trouble sleeping. TKO just puts me right out. It's amazing and a total godsend. Realizing my little imp wouldn't last forever, I already have a bottle. Plus, I kind of love the "go to sleep smelling like lavender, wake up smelling like toasted marshmallows" effect. It's so cool.

Milk Chocolate, Cassia, and Bacon is the only bacon scent I can think of.

November 9th Sooo. Yules. Those just happened. What are you interested in, Bunny? I ordered three decants and to be honest, I'm not even that interested in them. I mean, enough to order them, but I would be shocked to find any bottle-wants. I am super excited about the trading post, though, and will be stalking oh, most of the Yule Candles. Okay, all but one of them. Do you like coin purses? No. I. Just. No. It's. No. November 8th Do you prefer dark or milk chocolate? Depends on what's in it. Good milk chocolate is delightful, but Hersheys, for example, tastes like vomit to me. Dark chocolate is often a safer bet because I almost always like it except for cheap European dark chocolate which is oddly sweet half the time. November 7th What are your opinions on traditional holiday cookie flavorings? I'm thinking anise and cardamom in particular. Nom. Do you like artisan oils and vinegars? Nom. Bunny, could you use a 2012 calendar, and, if so, do you like big monthly ones or the page-a-day type? My mum always gets me a calendar. November 6th Charity gifts? Either fair-trade type stuff, or virtual type gifts, like vaccinations or school supplies being bought on your behalf, or something along those lines? No. We're actually really picky about the charities we support. Bunny, are you interested in tarts from Two Timing Tart? What scents, if any, are you interested in? No. Do you need any holiday recipies? Is there something in particular that you'd like baked or made for you? And for those of you doing the no sugar/low sugar, etc. thing these days, how about savory things? I would love some recipes! Speaking about candles, how much do you look forward to the BPTP candles that will be launched on Etsy? I don't know if there will be other scents than the Samhain and Pumpkin Cookie one, but is there a specific one you are longing for? OMG. OMG. OMG. SNOW WHITE AND CHOCOLATE GINGERBREAD ESPRESSO AND MIDNIGHT MASS AND YES. But those will probably be up about the time the swap ends, so do not worry about them. <3 Does anyone have issues with gently used things like books, etc.? No. Are you a big ol' nerd for any particular subject? Science, math, linguistics, etc? Or particular authors/fandoms? Yes. We do like the science, I love fairy tales, crafting. We cook a lot with science. You can read my blogue, craftilykimberly.com, so get an idea of my crafty things, but I don't post as often as I should and I'm working on that. I'm doing NaNoBlogMo instead of NaNoWriMo because I know I can succeed at that. Bunnies, how do you feel about lemon-flavored items, like lemon marmalade, lemon curd, lemon pound cake, or lemon cookies? Yes. fingerless mittens or full mitts? Fingerless with a mitten flap. November 4th reveal, yes or no? No. I really think the mystery is the most important thing in any swap and wish to be secretized forever. Ever knowing who my fox is would just ruin my life. (And for future stalkers out there, I am just harassing my foxy who accidentally revealed a bit prematurely. I cannot STAND the mystery and if you don't reveal, I will make a list and cross names off and geo-locate everyone based on anything they've ever said on the forum and correlate "just sent" messages to postage stamps and figure out who you are.) Any favorite cuddly characters? Not particularly, but I am learning to see the way of Tony and Steve being adorbs. Moxie Nouveau groupon? I would use it if it happened, but I would not go out of my way for it. what's your favourite colour? Jewel and earth tones Your favourite gemstone? Garnets. My engagement ring is a green one (tsavorite) and my right hand ring is three red ones. They are the only stones I wear every day. Sometimes I throw in other stuff, but if we're being honest... Your favourite animal (real or imaginary)? The bolifur of course! (Our ginger cat, Willow, who also goes by the bolifur) And do you have any intense phobias? Since you can't make me stand six feet off the ground, none that you care about. (Super high heights do not bother me. Flying? No big. But god forbid I end up a few feet up.) Are you Nano-ing this month, bunny? If so, how would you feel about merch/donations to the cause? I was. I failed. I'm doing a blog post a day instead. I always support merch/donations to that cause. Do you like/need boxes for perfume/knicknacks? I love boxes. Boxes and I are friends that go way back. Waaaaay back. BFFs for life. November 2nd Is there any particular holiday DVD that you don't have that you would like to own? Not really. How do you feel about superheros? Are you a Marvel or DC fan? Do you have a favorite hero? WELL NOW. http://joannaestep.com/art11/nightlight_large.jpg In all fairness because I have not read these things yet, I should say Sandman is my favorite comic and Fables is second and these are Vertigo which is the dark-in-the-kind-of-cult-sense of DC, so currently DC but I'm totally working on that Marvel thing. Would my bunny like anything in particular from Lush? I do have access to an actual Lush store, and also wouldn't mind ordering retro items online. No? I mean, I never turn down good bath stuff, but I've never tried Lush. There. I said it. I've never tried Lush. would you like a Paintbox from Paintbox Soapworks? If so, which scents? Comfort and Joy Frnkn, Gld and Mrrh Do you have kids (or kid-like pets) who your fox may want to take into account, either in terms of a little extra goody or simple safety? NO. Well, it shouldn't kill a cat, but we're childree. How do you feel about honey/beeswax? Would you like any? Shrug. I would be excited if you sent it and not disappointed if you didn't and this is my overall opinion on things for swaps for the most part. It's not that I'm totally ambivalent so much as I like surprises and I like almost everything. Are you a Trader Joe's fan, who either doesn't have a store nearby or just loves their stuff and has a wishlist? This is our regular store, so... The Paintbox Soapworks Yules are up, or at least round one is (updates coming throughout the week). Interested in anything? Comfort and didn't I just answer this? I like sorbettos the best. If I were to place ONE LAST Weenie order, (uh, which I will) what would you want me to include for you? No. Will you be away for any part of the round? Yes. Definitely. I'll get back to you on when. There is always a house-sitter, though so no worries about mail or what-have-you. Anyone else with an Etsy store and a member of Tradeaholics (or you could join) and interested in bartering for gifts for their bunny? Everything in my shop is up for trade. No. What type of books do you like? Dying to read anything? Urban fantasy for the most part. Um. I wish you could make Kindle lists public and yet I would be so embarrassed. If you like Christmas music (or any other holiday music, for that matter), what kind of style do you like? Traditional? Modern and poppy? Indie? I DO LIKE CHRISTMAS MUSIC. TRADITIONAL FOR THE MOST PART. WHO DO YOU LIKE YOU ARE, POPSTARS, THAT YOU JUST WRITE NEW SONGS? WTF IS THAT? CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL. Except that I always hold down shift. It's easier. Do you enjoy things that taste like roses? For example chewing gum, turkish delight, delicious goo that you eat by the spoonful out of a glass jar (and they all taste of rose. Yes, we have all these in Greece.) No. No. No. No. What? No. Also, same question about mastic. Would you be interested in trying it out? (If yes, any preferences? for example you wold prefer to try the chewing gum, the turkish delight, an Easter bun (I can go hunting, some companies make them all year round although it's not the same as the bakery Easter ones ), the raw resin itself, anything?) Uh. What? i live in the city of the chicken wing. if i were to send you something savory, what's your heat tolerance (or sweet and heat for that matter). I do like spices. Do not send me chicken wings in the mail. I will look at you like o.0 If your fox/bunny were to gift you with a giftcard from anywhere, as in any store foodwise, music wise etc. what giftcard would you like? Whole Foods or Amazon. I am the most lame. If I were to send you chocolate is there anything I should avoid as in nuts, cherries etc.? Also, what are some of your favorite holiday candies? I have a really long SW answer to this. You can go read that. Baaaasically, I like chocolate. Does anything from Fusion Sweets interest you? No. I can make all of those things easily. Interested in anything from the Elements and Artifacts Yule update? Yes. See Etsy <3s. October 30 Dear Snow Bunnies: Do you do a Christmas tree? If yes is it themed or specially colored or do you just have all different ornaments and such? I AM GOING TO. AND IT WILL SPIN AND HAVE FIBER OPTIC LIGHTS AND SCIENTIST ORNAMENTS AND A REALLY TACKY ONE AND GIFTS UNDER IT. Would you like a special ornament? Only if you make it or it is awesome. Tim Tams. Yay or nay? Meh. I know some people are squicked out at the idea of eating things that other people make, or the thought of deep fried cookies sends them into cardiac arrest. If you were my fox, would you like to receive some homemade goodies, or would you prefer that your goodies came from the store? What? I don't care. Don't poison me, though. That's for my manservant to do. Especially if I call him my manservant one more time. Would any Bunny like to receive Holiday serving bowls, trays, platters etc...? Winter/Christmas or Thanksgiving/Fall themed? Uh. If you make it, sure. Otherwise, no. My lovely fluffy Snow Bunny, would you like a bodyscrub made by me? If so, what scent(s) would you like, if you had to think along the lines of essential oils? And would you prefer sugar or salt? A dryer scrub or one that's more oily/moist? Yes! If you make it, I will love it. Dear snow bunny, do you like candles? if yes, then what kind? scented (what scents), unscented, what colors, do you like them plain/painted on the outside/with decorations attached to the surface/sculpted? If you make it, I will... you see a pattern? Also what do you think of little soaps? I know most people don't use soaps nowadays but I love the chocolate/vanilla/cocoa/butter/sugar combo scents that I see at beauty stores I use soaps. I use them in the shower. Who doesn't use soap? That's not even... Socks! Slippers! Do you love them or not really wear them? If you love them, do you also love Sock Dreams? Slippers! I could use some slippers like whoa actually. I love the mary jane style or also the classic stick a foot in and trudge style. Would you wear something like this if your Fox were to knit you one? If so, what color? http://www.ravelry.c...gap-tastic-cowl I would wear anything you made me. Seriously. I'm like everyone's grandmother. I will love it because you made it and wear it because of that. talk to me of coffee. Whole bean? Ground? Flavored, not flavored? Decaf, whole caff? Favorite roasters? Drip, french press, keurig? BRING ON THE TEA? I love tea. Not red or white though. I mean, some whites. Definitely no reds. Green and black are nomtastic. Coffee-wise, I am obsessed with our local stuff. Think yours is better? Bring it! Who else here loves or would like to try Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics? If so, what would you like? See my SW answers about cosmetics. Have you tried anything from Cocoa Pink and if so, what products and scents do you like or would like to try? No. Anybody into nail polish? Any color or formula preferences? Kind of? I'd love more. Some lavender that is work appropriate but not icky would be awesome. Or a robotic scarab bronze. That one... I kept waiting for it to come back in stock to order it and it never did. If you found a $50 bill on the ground and were to place a Lab order, what would be in it? (And shipping is free through the magical BPAL unicorn!) Elegba, which I never remember I want. And Prince Lir. October 29th So... someone has gifted you a $20 gift card from Walgreen's to ONLY use on things for yourself. No necessities here. What do you buy? Nail polish. Wasn't I just explaining? I live near a brick and morter location for a really, really good spice store. would you use cooking spices and if you would, what would you need? (it's penzey's if you want to google it). I live near a brick and mortar location for a really, really better spice store. So there. I've lived by a Penzey's and it's nice and all, but my Spice House can kick your Penzey's buttocks. (I don't do sports at all, but my local food stuff vs yours is totally a game I'm into.) Do you like knitted goods? If so, what would you like, what colors, and do you have any sensitivites or preference when it comes to type of yarn (ex: wool: yay or nay? do you prefer machine washable materials? do you not care?)? Love them! hey swap partner...could you use a new mug? Not really, no. I obsessively use the one Lioness gave me when she was my Switch Witch. Is there any sort of regional food/drink/treat you miss or have always wanted to try? Yours? To answer all future questions: If you made it, I will be super excited and love it. If I've never had it, I'm happy to try it. If I can learn about new things, I am delighted to have or try them. If they are not new, it is unlikely, unless you have ignored my warnings about headache inducing strong florals, that I will actually dislike it. I am not the pickiest. Really. And I get overly excited about swaps. And I you.

The stuff I wear very rarely or is on the swap list: (Mind you, some of it I wear rarely, but when I wear it I love it. It's just that the favorites are what I choose from every day without thinking much about it and I store them in a different place.) CT: IV MCCLLXX (Floral-less Antique Lace) Western Diamondback MB: Bigger Critters Passionate Shepherd Szepasszony Black Moon (older edition) Lawn Gnome the Traveller Hellgate of Ireland Sunbird Saw Scaled Viper 13 Feb '09 Butter Rum cookie Dark Chocolate, Whiskey, and Cognac Autumn Moon of the Mirror Stand Love's Philosophy Mabon Womb Furie Tabella Sachs Ghulheim Frederic Samhain '09 Pink Champagne Fledging Raptor Moon Visiting the Temple of Auspicious Fortune Alone on Winter Solstice Blue Moon (Brian) The Stormhold Conservatory Tableaux Cesky Krumlov v1 Lady Lilith 13 Aug '10 Tony Miller vs State of California Harp of .... Banshee Beat is my fiance's favorite (he doesn't realize it, but every time he's complimented me on my perfume since I got BB, that's what it has been). PPv1 is my favorite, but in a "special occasions" kind of way, if that makes sense. It's so etherial that I feel like wearing it on non-special days is abusing it. Eat Me and BB are my most commonly worn things.

October 14th Do you like scary books? What's the best/scariest thing you've ever read? Not really, no. October 13th Are you interested in anything in the latest round of Lab auctions on eBay? Nothing reasonable, that's for frickin' sure. What favorite song(s) would you think would translate into a cool or unique scent? California Dreamin' by the Mamas and the Papas (brown leaves, the heavy scent of rain, a little church incense and dust, and under all of it something warm and clean/comforting). Anyone interested in VApothecary's Halloween update? Nope. Interested in anything from the Beaver Moon Lunacy update? Nope. I sent you with $20 into a drugstore/Walmart (nothing too fancy/imported/expensive, just your average selection), and you are restricted only to the candy aisle. What would you blow it on? Andes mints. 13 packages of them, apparently. October 11th What is your favorite kind of cookie? Triple chocolate. My fiance makes them sometimes. I call them orgasm cookies. How many boxes are you hoping for? However many you send me. How do you feel about loose leaf tea in baggies? I mean, I have a TON of loose leaf, would it be okay if I send you samples in some zip lock baggies? Or is that something that would squick you out? I do like tea. How would you feel about getting a custom poster with your favorite quote on it and some cool graphics? I'm an architecture student and can print posters (provided I make them) at pretty much any size using Adobe Illustrator at a low price. Also if you would be interested in this, what quotes would you like? That would be awesome. Um Favorite quote. I have some, but it's hard to remember them on demand. October 9th Is there anything you would want from NYCC, something you'd like your witch to ask me to pick up? Nah. The best thing I ever ate...: Oh, god. The first time I had Daniel (my fiance)'s roast chicken with the potatoes that sit under the chicken as it roasts and get covered in chicken fat. SO AMAZING. SO TERRIBLE FOR YOU. October 6th Do you like liquorice? If so, hard or soft? Sweet or salt? Normally salted or so salt it pulls your face into a fishy shape? And which shapes do you like? I like black licorice. I had no idea it came in so many choices. Mac using witchees, what computers do you use? What peripherals/accessories do you have and what would you LIKE to have? What do you use your computer for? I have a mac that I use for stuff at home. If I ended up with accessories, that would be cool. But I'm a bit "eh" about it -- like, at some point I'll probably get a mouse but .... Do you like listening to audiobooks? Would you like to receive one, and if you would, what sort of audiobook would you like--or is there a particular audiobook you've been meaning to get? I do like them, I really liked John Hodgeman's More Information Than You Require and the sequel. He did them so well for audiobooks. So, um, anything similar, I suppose. October 5th Are there any DIY / Crafty / Free / Budget items you'd love to get but haven't noted yet? (Or, maybe you'd just like to emphasize something you may have only noted in passing?) YOU GOT ME ROVING, I LOVE YOU. Do you own a DSLR camera? Are you interested in a minky camera strap like these? What about anything from Photojojo? I do. I have no camera strap, so I'd be down with whatever. But nothing else, really. Is anybody else into film photography? Interested in receiving film, supplies, etc from Lomography? Not anymore. I'm making the transition. Painfully. Don't tempt me. (But ask me about the super cool camera I found for $15 in a thrift shop that is 75 years old AND STILL WORKS.) Are you musically inclined? Do you play an instrument or sing? If so, what? Nope. I love singing, I do not do it well. But I do it a lot anyway.

Dear Witch, I've had the worst headcold for the past few days, so if something in here sounds totally rubbish and doesn't make sense at all, um, let me know and I'll do cold-to-common translations. October 3rd Does anyone else like collector Barbies? Nope. Sorry. What small everyday items would you like, that you keep forgetting to get? I think I've answered along these lines before so I'll skip it for now (but may come back to it later). Tarot No? Tell me about something you like, and why you like it. Haven't I been doing that for the past gizzillion questions? (I would have more patience for this question if I wasn't still pretty sick -- but nowhere near the epic disaster that was yesterday re: being sick) If you're the MMU type of Witchee, what Geek Chic Cosmetics tickle your fancy? Uh? Would any witchees be interested inQuinn Popcorn? No, but I love spicing my own popcorn, so popcorn flavors are always welcome. October 2nd Who likes silly items from Archie McPhee??? I'm sure I would, but I'd probably never use them except in swaps. Nocturne Alchemy's NAlloween Pt. 2 update is live here! (And for a few days, last month's update too.) What do you want? I try to stick to BPAL. To keep the obsession under control. What are you drooling over from the Sock Dreams Halloween stuff? Sold out on the stuff I like, so... Luck charms? Not really Does anyone want anything from... here...? No. For those of you that like candles, do you like stuff from Yankee Candle? And if you had to choose, tarts or candles? Not particularly. Candles. Would you be interested in getting a custom necklace fromhere? It would be beautiful, I'm sure. But unless you are making it, not really. Is there a movie you want so badly that you don’t own now? Not really, no. Is there a song on Itunes that you haven’t downloaded yet? I'm sure there are, but generally when I think of them, I download them. Is there a rare book you’ve always wanted? Nope. Is there anything you want to buy yourself but have been too embarrassed (R rated or pg)? Not so much, no. Have you seen the Lush holiday update? Do you like the look of anything from there? I have not. if you were my witchee, would you want some of my hot nuts my candied nuts my nuts covered in butter and brown sugar candied walnuts? Ha, no. Thank you though. October 1st Is there anything you either didn't like or had never heard of that you're now curious to try thanks to the discussion in this thread? Not really, no. Reveal? Yes, please! Would you be interested in the #occupywallstreet scent? Yes, please! Do Paintbox Soapworks' Goat's Milk Hand and Body Creams sound like something you'd like to try? Yes, please! (If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know more about this.) September 30th Witchee, would you like anything from this particular Haunt update? Ha, missed the boat on this one. Who's interested in Halloween: Montreal? Not me. You get a package in the mail containing 3 things you have really wanted more than anything else you've mentioned so far in this thread. The store would always have what I needed or wanted when I went. It might sound lame now, but Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other times when it's just kind of annoying... it would be awesome. Witchee, would you like a gently used BPAL tshirt? Heck, yeah. Actually I'm in the process of making a quilt from a lot of my old t-shirts, so if you have one gently used to send my way I'd totally wear it, but if you have one that is funky-nasty-tore-up and you are about to bin it, as long as the main image is intact, I'd take it and cut it up for my quilt. A question! If you are crafty, what's your personal art style? I'm not talking just about what art you like to look at, but what kind of art do you like creating? Do you have a "process" while you're creating beauty? Uh. Uh. Uh. No. Are there any Arcana Weenies that you MUST HAVE? No. No. No. Will not look. Stick to the BPAL. No new obsessions! Illegal! So what say you? IS an "unexpected" visit/in-person witching OK? That would be awesome. But. You gotta let me know someone is coming over or I might not be here or have time or what not. But, like, a lunch date (I'll be happy to make lunch) or whatever, just... fair warning.
