Chocolate peppermint, mint-soaked vanilla, pistachio, oakmoss, and green cedar. In the imp: Cocoa and mint Wet: Mint chocolate. Kind of powdery, like it's mint flavour drinking chocolate Dry: Mint chocolate biscuits. For those in the UK, it's just like Viscount biscuits. I guess that's what the combination of oakmoss and cedar turns into on me. I keep sniffing my wrist thanks to this. I wasn't too sure about the mint to start with as it's not something I was sure I wanted to smell of, but it's a good combination and didn't turn into vanilla the way chocolate scents often do on me. I'm going to have to put in an order for a bottle when I get my yules.

I would never have thought to try this had the lovely sunshinedaisybliss not sent me a frimp of it. In the imp: Boozy blackberry Wet: I'm getting a really strong cake note. It's more cakey than I was expecting and I'm impressed. I can still smell the blackberry as well. Dry: Bourbon, blackberry and cake. The buttercream came through after a few hours. This is gorgeous and so edible smelling. I'm going to have to try and get hold of more of this. It's also made me really look forward to trying Cake Smash- I'm hoping the red velvet is the same.

Skin musk, smoky vanilla, pine pitch, patchouli, Indian resins, golden honey, and tobacco. In the bottle: Pine Wet: Pine, resin and patchouli. I think I can smell something a little sweet too Dry: This dried to a gorgeous smokey musk with vanilla and something dark and woody in the background. I didn't think I was going to like it from the bottle, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. It's a beautiful, sexy scent that I'm probably going to wear frequently.

This is a lovely blend even if I'm not getting quite what I expected. I got pumpkin, coffee and spices in the bottle, but as soon as it's on my skin it turns to gingerbread. Bizarrely I'm not amping the vanilla the way I normally do, and there's no sign of coffee, chocolate or hazelnut. Maybe a hint of pumpkin, but it's pretty much gingerbread on me. Yummy, even if nothing like the description. EDIT: After 9 hours the coffee and hazelnut finally appeared.

My first BPAL order arrived yesterday and now I've finally figured out which scent to try first I figured I'd do my first review. In the bottle: I smell marzipan. That'll be the almond note. Wet: It's a rich, buttery almond on me. Just like a frangipane tart in fact Drydown: Almond, cream, pastry and a little caramel. The caramel seems to come out more as time goes on. For once there's no sign of the vanilla that my skin seems to turn most things into. Not getting the rose that lots of others have mentioned either. This has got to be the closest I've come to a lab description and it's delicious. Glad I got this.

Recs for Role-Playing Games (RPG), LARP and Cosplay

This is a fantastic thread. As another vampire LARPer and pretty new to BPAL, I'd love some suggestions for a character. Key words for her are regal, sinister and alien. Any good ideas?
