I smell soapy soap and then something fruity. There could be a hint of cinnamon in here as well. It starts out as a really mixed blend but becomes extra super soapy really quickly. It also grows faint really quickly on my skin. More soap. (More time) Wow, soapier. Somewhat like lavender soap. Hand soap in a hotel.

Truly a fresh smell! I wish I could find mopping solution in this scent It's like cucumbers and pine. I do get something slightly musky in here, and it darkens the fragrence so "Night" seems pretty apt. Ah, ok as this dries it becomes lemony, so now I am getting fresh greens, pine, and lemon. It gets somewhat powdery when it dries, but mostly it's lemon, pine, and a bit of musk. :>

This is rose, but with a sweet candy undertone, somewhat like violets (must be the sweet pea). It's an innocent, happy scent, very young and playful. You've really gotta like rose though. Oh here comes the musky-charcoal colored scent of ylang ylang, drifting around the candy and roses. There's something under here that smells a tiny bit stinky as well. Roses don't necessarily inspire me to romance, but they do make me want to put potpourri in my sock drawer. BPAL rose doesn't work on me, alas.

This actually reminds me of Harvest Moon! There is the lovely fruit in here and then something slightly musky- must be the "melancholy autumn breeze". It also makes it smell a bit like cold stone, and flowers. I am wavering between liking this and not liking it. I love the fruit and musk but dislike the florals. Ok, the musk and fruit are stronger again, and now I am back in Harvest Moon turf. I think it's more the '04 version though. It dries to a kind of fruit-floral medly, which is actually kinda nice.

I adore sandalwood and patchouli, so I had high hopes. I do smell the delicious aroma of both, but with a bit nagging plague of roses on top. I am truly going back and forth between "beautiful and sweet" and "argh, roses". Maybe it's too early for wanton sexuality. Oh dear.... the rose is just lingering around over the delicious musks. I'm waiting for something to change here, but it's been a while. Alas!

Well, this is a deeply dark, musky scent. It's absolutely knocking me over with Vetiver. As I was thinking this was both too strong and too masculine for me, my husband grabbed my wrist and rubbed it on his neck. He said the scent would suit him better I have to say, he was right. We also didn't succeed in transferring enough of it from my wrist to his neck. I rubbed it on his pants to try and help the process along. Then he stole the imp. I won't tell him patchouli is in this. It's very dark woodsy and spicy. Definitely delicious on him.

This is definitelty a very churchy scent, but sweet somehow. I am definitely getting frankincense plus something sweet, something like baking. It's getting a bit like body odor on me somehow though. The sweetness and muskiness are drying down in kind of a weird way. Definitely cinnamon... plus ... onions now? Truly weird on me.

Well, this smells like toothpaste! First it's a faint minty kind of chalky aroma, somewhat like necco wafer. Then it changes to something of a strawberry toothpaste. It's still chalky, but it's sweeter now. Is there lotus in here? sweetpea? It's dried to a sweet sort of chalkiness. Again, still like toothpaste though... or that flouride you get at the dentist's.

Very sweet, and yet slightly anise-y when wet on my wrist. I smell something pale and fruity in here, but the anise is making the overall effect something like an egg biscuit. Ever had one of those? This smells like egg biscuit from the supermarket (mine puts too much anise in there) I smell a bit of cinnamon too, which is adding to the baked goods effect. As time passes it becomes more cinnamony. Cinnamon-anise. I have never seen blends that people perceive as differently as I do the Tarots

When I sniff the imp I get some horrid animalistic musk. Wet on my arm (it took courage) I get deep dark wet leaves and a hint of pine. It's very astringent. Slowly, a strong, dark lavender emerges. I don't think I like the lavender with the dark woods though. It smells kind of like rotting. Pepper-something emerges to pair with the lavender and woods. Now more lavender. I've tried a lot of lavender blends recently. Um, guess it's going to stay there then.

Ooooh a gorgeous orange plus perhaps grapefruit scent. It's really lovely and fruity, and smells like something Lush-related. I can't place it It's herby-citrusy good. It's really faint on my skin, however, and is absorbed quickly. I can't smell it ten minutes later. That part is really disappointing. Not much point in putting it on unless I intend to sniff close to my arm. Er... I might keep the imp anyway.

I am getting the faintest floral, dragon blood, and soap on my wrist. I had to look at my arm incredulously to make sure I'd applied something. My skin just swallowed this up and I almost smell nothing. Hmmm... more of the same. The smell of Ivory soap plus dragon's blood.

Wet on my arm this smells of nice oolong tea with lemon. There is also a hint of floral in here, but not so much as it bothers me. I hate florals, so it doesn't take much. It's a bit like bottled iced tea when it dries. It's slightly sweet, a bit artificially-lemon, and a tiny bit tempered by something As some time passes it becomes a bit more floral, and fades quickly. I can barely smell anything and it hasn't been a half an hour yet. Poof, and then it's gone!

This is definitely a familiar scent in that crafts store at Christmas type way. It's got.... fig? apple..... cinnamon ? I feel like I am standing in an isle next to those wreaths with the faux red berries and the wound wooden branches. Ah there, as it dries I am getting rose rose rose. It's a shame because the initial apple was somewhat appealing but I dislike rose. And there it stays, roseity rose rose.

Apparently the World is made up of Necco wafers! I used to live around the corner from the Necco factory and this smells just like a fresh pack of them. I can't get past that. I do smell some cinnamon and powder in there, but this is still a bit damp. As this dries down I smell something musky and still a bit of floral-powderiness that's not very far from Necco Wafer. Alas, I can't stop associating this with little discs of vaguely fruity candy.

This is like earth if someone spilled sauerkraut on it. Seriously, I smell lovely green earthiness with vinegar cabbage on top. Oh, is that cinnamon? Boy wow I must have some weird body chemistry. Cinnamon plus sauerkraut. What....a strange result I get from this.

This is the Devil has the goat-diety air to it, the really animalistic musk. It smells like the goat has been rutting around in his own filth. Yikes. This smells like animal butt. It's so musky in that awful animal sense that I honestly think I'm going to have to wash it off, NOW.

Oh dear, my stomach is not liking this blend. It's too medicinal in association. Something that smells like soap and pine is really bothering me. I find myself wanting to clean my room with this blend, not wear it. Is there a hint of anise under the pine? Maybe so, and that would explain it. I hate anise. As it dries I do get pine mixed with hmmm hay? Like a barn smell? It's like wood chips. I don't mind the drydown but I really dislike the wet stage so I don't think I can wear this.

Apparently the Sun is a big ol' orange (er, at least when it's wet.) I always suspected it was an orange. I am getting straight, virgin mandarin orange with this when it's wet. Let me sit with it for a little bit (with my SPF 60) This is becoming somewhat rosey-floral underneath the mandarin. It's definitely an orangey-red fragrance. It dries down to something pink, floral, and pretty faint. Hmmmmm, not a winner for me.

Very woodsy when wet. I feel like I am strolling through the woods in the autumn (which I just was a moment before applying this). It's not unlike Temple of the Horned God, actually. They must have a similar note, which I am guessing is vetiver. This strikes me as a very masculine scent, which generally means I should like it. Although there is something sweet lurking between the musky woods I am kind of ambivalent. I keep thinking: "Oh, I've smelled this before. I have this blend somewhere." It is grounding, I'll give it that, but it's not the rebirth aroma that I was expecting. As it dries it gets that earthy-herbal-sweetness that I enjoy in woodsy scents, but it's still not very exciting!

Wow, apparently the Hermit is baking a cake. This smells sweet, creamy, and somewhat like vanilla and lemon mixed together. I am shmecking. I feel so comforted sniffing this. This is a hermit in the sense of one curling up and hiding underneath soft flannel sheets with a good book and some candles. It's the smell of not wanting to go out, of a cozy home. Ahhhh now I get the berries and a hint of floral. Hm, this stage isn't as nice on me. Now I get the berry candles. It's one of those "mixed berry" scents. Alas... (Note- I am so amused that the reactions to this are as diverse as they are. Apparently the hermit is different for many of us)

When wet on my arm, Temperance smells like leafy green, wet plants. It's a very damp, green smell. It's flowers in a greenhouse or a florist's. It's the stems of flowers and the scent that you get from really putting your face in a fresh bouquet and inhaling. It's not, however, perfumey. Is this crocuses? Lilacs?

Wow, what on earth does this smell like? I think it's like alcoholic fruit cocktail. Cherry and boozy? There's something really stinky underneath it though and I fear it's getting stronger. Ahhh cherry cherry cherry cherry. As it dries I am getting flowers but it's really light, soaking into my skin quickly. It's a stinky floral, perhaps a jasmine /iris blend. Yeuuuch!

Initially when wet I am overpowered by the sharp scent of Vicks vapor rub. It's an incredibly pungent menthol smell, and it burns my nose for a while. As this is drying it becomes a bit floral, and the pungent smell dissipates a bit. The floral stench actually gets sucked into my skin relatively quickly and then disappears.

Really musky and spicy, kind of like patchouli + sandalwood together, which means I really liked it initially. However, sometime underneath this is downright salty. What a weird kick. The saltiness is mingled with something sweet and metallic, copper-like. It's something like a weird sauce... ha, it just smells so familar and I'm not sure why. The metallic saltiness tickles my nose. It also sinks into my skin really quickly and fades from sight. I am so torn about this one, and I'm rarely torn about scents.
