    Dragon's Hide

In the imp: Almost plastic-y and fruit like. Scented plastic fruit? Wet: Smoke and leather and spices. Wow! Nice. Dry: The smoke has left and the fruity-ness has come back. But now it is more spicy-fruity, actually kind of like a warm fruit juice with lots of spices. And something is toning down the fruit further... leather? I think that's you. Lovely. A while later: Hmmmm. I can pick up the leather, but only slightly. What predominates is a warm, comforting scent, spicy and ever so slightly fruity. This is a scent that makes me want to snuggle my wrists for warmth and comfort. Being a roleplayer, what springs into my mind is a very kind, very loving fighter type, while relaxing at home. Weird mental image, but it is what it is.

    Lust

In the imp: Woody. And heavily musky. Wet: Smoky? Still heavy musk, a slight trace of ylang ylang. Dry: Smoky and languid. The ylang ylang is coming out to play and the patchouli is bordering on being temperamental. The red musk is giving this an overall "boudoir" feel. A while later: The patchouli and the myrh have blended to give an overal smoky feel to this. The red musk and ylang ylang ae creating a very seductive and firm feminine scent that says "You. Here. Now." Very bold! A bit bold for general use for me.

    Bess

In the imp: Herbal roses. This smells like a less intense version of Radox Bubble bath. Wet: This is almost bubbly. I think that this is just my associaion with rosemary and Radoz bubble baths. I am also getting lime and rose syrup. Dry: Rose and lime. Very light and playful. A while later: This is a barely-there scent. It IS there, it DOES exist more than 1mm away from my skin. But it is incredibly gentle and subtle. The slightest hint of rose and mint. If I bring my wrists together I can almost detect a tinge of honey (I think it is reacting slightly oddly on my right wrist). I think that I can pick up the rosemary which is what giving it the "I have just bathed" smell from when I was a kid. Very nice, very subtle.

    Hairy Toad Lily

In the imp: Grape nerdz. Wet: Tangy! Fruity! Floral! Very playful. Dry: Damp, wet flowers. Just after a heavy rain and hidden behind fat, plump, juicy leaves. And something juicy - like an overripe mulberry that you just cannot see. After a few hours: Hmmm, I can barely smell it anymore. But my wrist smells soapy-clean. And not in a bad way, more in a "I just showered and used a really nice lilly and grape soap" way. I have no problems with smelling freshly showered long after I should!

    Euphrosyne

In the imp: Lemonade? Snapple pink lemonade? o.0 Wet: Floral. I get a hint of the tea rose and something slightly lemony. Dry: Light florals, but they are being softened by something in the background. It is a very gentle scent. A while later: Soft and gentle florals. Like blanket woven from tiny flowers has been laid across one. I think its the vanilla making this a soft and enveloping scent. Nice!

    Al Azif

In the imp: Vanilla chai tea and smoke. Wet: Incense, smoke and spices. Dry: Buttery and creamy. With a good dose of spices and smoke. A while later: Smoky, spicy. Slightly vanilla-buttery undertone. It smells gorgeous - complex, intriguing and oddly comforting. It has a good throw and lasts well. I really LOVE how this smells on me. This stands a good chance of becoming a signature scent if I get my paws on a bottle.

    Tzadikim Nistarim

In the imp: Vanilla, spice and smoke. Wet: Something fruity is breaking through. It is sharper and the vanilla aspect is gone. Like naartjie almost, but less orange like. Grapefruit? Dry: Incense and vanilla float above melon sprinkled with spices. This is beautiful. A while later: A slight breath of melon. And incense. A almost smoky background hinting at spices.

    New Orleans

In the imp: HONEYSUCKLE and moss. Wet: JASMINE and a water sprinkler. Dry: The jasmine and honeysuckle are playing together now. And have taken over. A while later: This has died dawn to a sweet scent, like fallen jasmine and honeysuckle blossoms that have been trodden on. Slightly "moist" smelling. Almost tropical, almost.

    Santa Eularia Des Riu

In the imp: Lemon scented handy andy with a touch of shoe polish. Wet: LEMON, fake lemon - not real lemon. And something peppery. It almost smells like lemon handy andy and stale cigarette smoke. Dry: Smoke and lemon, with a touch of antiseptic and rum. After a while: Empty alcohol bottles the day after a big party. In fact, the living room of my house share the day after a big party. And antiseptic. Errrr... not sure this is something I WANT to smell like.

    Grand Guignol

In the imp: Wait a second... *goes to open and sniff her apricot liqueur* Yip, it smells like this but without the alcohol trying to evaporate up your nose and irritating it. Wet: APRICOTS! And a splash of booze. Dry: Apricots and sunlight and the barest breath of something boozey. A while later: Apricots. Slightly sweetened - perhaps apricot nectar? With a breath of something fuller and deeper. Delicious.

    Lucy's Kiss

In the imp: Rose and carnation? Wet: Rose and something heady and musky. since the imp decided to "pop" as I closed it, I now have this ALL over my arm. Half an imp's worth. Dry: I am definitely getting the Victorian. This is rose, but not straightforward, it has a spicy edge to it, with a hint of green. A while later: Slightly spicy rose. A touch of dust. Very nice and very Victorian.

    Centzon Totochtin

In the imp: Wine, chocolate and copper. Wet: Rum and chocolate and is that wine or copper? Dry: Chocolate. But my oh my is it heady. A very decadent cocoa, with a slightly boozy intoxicating edge and stab of something that makes me want to bite my own wrist. Hours later: Rich chocolate. A hint of musk and danger. Sexy chocolate? Not sure how, but this screams "Come with me and let us do bad, bad things together... covered in chocolate." I like it a lot. This is a wishlist scent.

    Crossroads

In the imp: Sweet florals with a touch of green. Wet: The florals really take off! But are grounded with a slight earthiness. Dry: JASMINE! There is something else there, but it is hard to make out under the JASMINE. A while later: Jasmine and moss. Floral, yet an earthy green. Guess my crossroads are on some fae path...

    Devil's Claw

In the imp: Smoke & dirt with a hint of medicinal herbs. Wet: Smoke, herbs and... cat pee? Dry: The old woodwork room at school after woodwork had been discontinued for a year in favour of technical drawing - dust and wood shavings, with cat pee. This is not going so well and it has amazing throw to boot. A while later: Old lady perfume, cat pee and a hint of dirt.

    Anubis

In the imp: Fruit and something shimmery and sparkly... not what I imagined from the name! Wet: Sweet, fruity and a touch of something that I associate with incense (pretty sure it is the myrrh). And WOW - does it have throw. It is reminding me of another scent I really like, trying to remember what though. Dry: This one has a lot of throw. Sweet and fruity with something almost otherworldly and shimmery. It smells divine. A while later: Slightly fruity and almost shimmery. It smells like freshly spritzed Angel, without the alcohol, on me. LOVE!

    Sin

WARNING: I think I may be having a weird nose/chemistry week. In the imp: Cinnamon and incense. Wet: I think that might be amber! But I smell spicy candy floss (cotton candy)! Very cinnamony! Dry: INCENSE. With a whiff of cotton candy. A while later: This one hung around for the whole day while I was at work. It was like smelling candy floss and incense with just a hint of Golden Delicious apples. Very nice, but I may be having a weird nose week.

    The Coiled Serpent

In the imp: Lemony patchouli with a touch of pineapple. Wet: It is a kind of woody coconut. Dry: Woody patchouli. With a hint of pina colada. A while later: Something slightly fruity and resinous. But not in a normal fruit way, more like a tropical fruit "a coconut and a pineapple had a lovechild" kind of way, with a touch of patchouli. I quite like it. Of course, my nose and skin chemistry may be playing up at this particular point as mine seems to be very different from everybody else's results.

    Goblin

In the imp: Sweet patchouli. Not sure what the sweet is... it is almost slightly boozey. Wet: Patchouli and boozey vanilla. Dry: Earthy vanilla. A touch of booze. This is intoxicating. Very playful, but slightly dirty and very naughty. A while later: This one lasts for hours! It smells like a musky sexy vanilla on me. Very more-ish. Just a hint of earthyness from the patchouli rounding it out. I think this one is stomping its feet and demanding to be added to my wishlist.

    Wicked

In the imp: JASMINE Wet: Jasmine and myrrh providing a heady blend of fragrance that is very feminine. Dry: Rose and myrrh. I cannot help but think of a very enticing woman. This is a feminine scent without being sweet or innocent. A while later: A sophisticated rose. Very feminine and grown up.

    Phoenix Steamworks

In the imp: Herbs! And hot metal. Wet: Oh! Incense and herbs, with a faint metallic zing. Dry: Incense and metal. Something similar to copper but not quite. Definitely a warm metal. A while later: Oh! This ones sticks around quite well. And I smell like metal! Bronze, I smell like my mom's old brass bedframe. But with something organic and wispy as well. And it smells nice! Very crisp and clear , but with that soft (herbal?) edge. I think this is being added to my "I need a bottle" list.

    Wrath

In the imp: Sherry cherries and cinnamon! (After loving Blood, I reckon that sherry cherries is how my nose translates dragon's blood, or the cloves) Wet: CINNAMON and sherry cherries. I am reminded of cinnamon gum in particular. Dry: Something fruity and cinnamon. Like pomegranate and berry juice, with a whole lot of cinnamon and maybe a dash of something else. Wrath is quite delicious smelling, actually. A While Later: Fruity and spicy. Kind of sensual. Actually surprisingly pretty considering the name. I like it.

    Black Butterfly Moon

In the bottle: Flowers and incense. Wet: Ooooh, yellow oil. It smells like incense and something else smoky and like flowers - rose and gardenia? Dry: Now it smells wet and almost salty. Like the air is tinged with sea breeze. Smoke is in the air too, and flowers - I can pick up the lilly now. A while later: Slightly salty. Slightly incense-y. Slightly floral. Quite dark and sophisticated. More perfume-y than I expected, but nice. I think this is a "Take me seriously" scent, yet its still feminine. Nice.

    Suck It

In the bottle: Cherry gummy sweets. No booze whatsoever, just cherry gummy sweets. Wet: Cherry gummy sweets and something else... herbal? No, not quite... maybe it is the booze factor. Dry: Cherry Fizzpops! Holy moly! This is EXACTLY like cherry Fizzpops! My favourite Fizzpops! I want this to last forever! (Fizzpops are boiled sweet lollipops with a sherbet centre sold here in South Africa. Their addictive qualities are the source for jokes about what white powder the sherbet REALLY is.) A while later: Where did it go? If I make sure I am near nothing with any scent and hold my wrist to my nose I can VERY FAINTLY pick up a hint of cherry sweets. Which is a pity, because I LOVE this scent and will feel compelled to slather it. Methinks I need to consider a back-up bottle while the weenies are still around.

    The Girl

In the bottle: A slight sweetness, a very gentle floral and just a breath of musk. Wet: The floral is stronger, with a slight sweetness behind it. Very innocent smelling. Dry: Ooooh. Something almost dusty has crept in. So sweetness, faint florals and dust. But not bad "I am going to sneeze dust", more dealing with something old and untouched dust. Which is intriguing in this otherwise innocent scent. A while later: Dusty sweetness. Not quite powder, but walking just this side of that line. A slight hint of florals. This is a beautiful scent. Unique and intriguing. I love it.

    Temple of Dreams

To me this smelled like lavender, basil, rosemary and thyme. A little bizarre, yet pleasant. However, I got it as a frimp and put it on without first looking up what it was. And I started to feel quite dozy. So I came on here, saw what it was, scrubbed it off and reapplied it that evening. Firstly, I slept REALLY well. I woke up feeling much more rested than I usually do and woke up after only 6 hours of sleep before my alarm went off (unheard of). Then I went away for the weekend and for the past 2 nights I have had the most vivid, crazy off-the-wall dreams and I can remember them and dream right up until the point where I am woken up (both times I have been woken by my friends' toddler deciding it was time that Aunty woke up) and yet am still quite rested. Any naps I have taken, I have fallen asleep quickly and woken up VERY awake. After using this oil once, it is like the quality of my sleep has just improved dramatically! I think I got it on my pillows and am smelling it as I fall asleep (I took my pillows with me). What amazes me is that this is not a TAL, but seems to be affecting my sleep. Perhaps t is just the placebo effect, but even if it is, this is awesome.
