I snapped up a few bottles of the secret Dorian restock a few weeks ago, and was excited to receive my most favorite perfume that this company makes, in the mail. It came in the mail, I let it sit for a day, and I dug it out. I opened the bottle and put it to my nose, and smelled ivory soap. I compared it to my original bottle of Dorian from last fall, my Dorian hair loss that I was restocked with last fall, a Dorian prototype that I have, I Didn’t want to believe that the two bottles that I just bought for myself smell absolutely nothing like the Dorian that I remember. So I waited Another day. I wash off all of my perfume so I had a blank slate so I didn’t have any clouded judgment, and on one wrist put on old Dorian and got the punch of lemony tea, musk and vanilla. On my other wrist I put on new Dorian, and I still got ivory soap. I’m convinced it’s reformulated This is so disappointing. I’ve worn Dorian for years and it never smelled like this. Ever.

Blackberry branches and tufts of patchouli, a tangle over overgrown hemlock, belladonna, and wolfsbane accord, a shard of charred bone, a passel of wandering mandrake roots, and drooping spikes of black foxglove. Dark purple, dark green, and cold. I like this! My bedroom is dark, and this fits the atmosphere perfectly. I hope this comes around again!

The Sedlec Ossuary in Kutna Hora that this perfume is named for is one of my favorite places I've ever visited. Upon application I was transported back to that place. Standing in front of the giant crucifix that is in there, with candles and coins in front of it. The roses and frankincense and lillies are perfect. This is incredible.
