When I put this down, I got a very...warmish sort of orange scent that reminded me quite a bit of the blood orange note I got out of my Akuma when the bottle was fresh. Now that it's dried down a bit, though, the blend is very reminiscent of March Hare...definitely going to have to compare the two. I think I like this one a bit better...it's more like what I thought March Hare would smell like, if that makes any sense.

Well, Bayou has changed my mind. My skin doesn't eat all BPAL florals, because it AMPED all the ones in this scent. I smelled some flowers in the imp, not much else, but this one smells of really strong floral from the moment I put it on, through drying, and now it's sitting on my wrists, going "OOOOH FLOWERS." I'm really picky about my florals, so this isn't quite to my tastes. If your skin treats it like mine and you love flowers, it'd be great, though!

Wow, I was glancing at the reviews as I went to type mine up and I had to pick my imp back up and sniff it again. I was surprised to see that there were some florals in here, and that some people were picking them up over the musk and myrrh. But I do get a whiff of floral in the imp. Wow. I'm starting to think my skin eats all flowers. I get mostly musk on my skin, from the second I apply it, through the drying and all. I have a hint of the myrrh, too. This isn't as strong as Voodoo, but it's definitely a darker sort of scent on me. Actually, I tried it right after Voodoo, and I thought that on me it's almost a lighter, gentler scent that's very similar to Voodoo, without the incense notes.

Mmm...I could definitely smell the apricot as I had the imp and put it on...then the clove hit, especially as the oil dried. And I smelled really spicy fruity for a little while, which was awesome. This is actually the clove-iest of the oils I've tried with a clove note (so far, and I'm a newbie), so I'm disppointed because it faded fairly fast. I'm going to try and figure out a way it'll last longer on me though, so I can see if I really like to wear it or if I just want to sniff it.

A soft, sensual, luxuriant blend with a wicked bite: hazelnut, buttercream, honey mead, rum and sweet almond. In the imp, I got the same kind of oddly cherry sweet scent I first get from Eclipse, and then I put it on. On my wrist, it's odd, because it stays that sweet and I even seem to have a hint of a floral in the background with some rum later. However, since I'd already tested it once and liked it well enough, I wore it out today. Which involves a swipe on my collarbone and another through my hair, and that bit of oil dried down to something smoother, creamier, with a teeeeeny hint of bite. Not even big enough to pick out if it was spice or the rum or what.

Wow, wet and dry, I smell the cinnamon, mostly. After it's dried, especially, I feel like I smell like a Big Red gum wrapper. Which isn't actually too bad to me, it's nostalgic almost. I chewed nothing but Big Red gum from Junior High through High School, and it'd generally be a stick in the morning and one after lunch. I obviously like cinnamon.

Hmm...I'm Aquarius sun/moon and Virgo rising. Lots of water and air elsewhere in the chart, too, it's insane. Looking at that site categories, all the scents I LOVE are Firey, a few are earth, and quite a few of the scents I really dislike are Air, and most the ones in water I'm meh about. Is it because I lack fire in my chart and need balance, or is it because I love various spiciness in my foods and I like to smell like sweet sweet spicy food?

Mmm...starts off surprisingly fruity, both in the imp and on my skin at first. Then as it dried, I had a whiff of a very very light bit of floral for just a short time. After that, it's dried to a sweet cinnamon sort of scent. That's just fine and dandy with me.

In the bottle and wet, I get a really extreme bitterness that almost reminded me of pine. It surprised me quite a bit, I guess it's the neroli? After it dries a bit, I get a nice fruity smell that's not too sweet, almost like a tart candy or tart fruit! I was disappointed, because the orange seems to come out strongest on me, and I can't quite pick out the raspberry. I love raspberry. It still smells very nice, though, and I'm glad my first imp was a success!

In the bottle: Really sharp (must be the neroli?), and I thought that I just had gotten a little Akuma on my fingers, because I was having a testing frenzy. Wet: Definitely orange rinds, and still a little bit of the first bitterness. Dry: Baby powder and/or soap... I had wondered what people meant when they said that in various reviews, and now I understand!
