  1. A sweet reward for a worthy deed: caramelized sugar and sweet cream.

This smells like a caramel (the sweet). It's sticky, sugary, and caramel. For those of you that enjoy caramel-based sweets, give this a whirl. It's everything you have ever hoped for.

  2. Madagascan vanilla bean, vanilla orchid, orris root, and saffron.

The HG is very vanilla centric. It's vanilla, a hint of vanilla orchid, and a dash of saffron. Honestly, this reminds me to Love's Philosophy. Good throw and wear length.

  3. Water bog and lilies with a touch of sea salt. This one smells more like meadows right above a sandy beach. It's sort of innocent, and you get the idea of the sea, but there's nothing very eldritch about this or sinister. It's actually really pleasant. For those of you that enjoy aquatic florals and/or beach blends, give this a whirl. Medium throw and wear length.

  4. This is a Cobwebby exclusive from back in 2012, and it's been six years and no one seems to have reviewed it. And since there were a few bottles on Etsy, I went ahead and grabbed it.

Burial v2 starts off with a very smoky vetiver note, which calms down substantially. I get dirt... and HOLY HELL BATMAN, I am getting the same weird grapefruit note that I get from Capricorn 2004. Capricorn 2004, which is almost impossible to get your hands on, and it starts off as a weird woody blend that MAGICALLY BECOMES GRAPEFRUIT ZEST on my skin and I think it may be the aged cedar. In other words, if you age cedar for 10+ years, the citrus notes in the cedar transform to a strange grapefruit-like scent that just sort of stays around.

Dirt, grapefruit dust, and cedar. Yup.

So, I'm off to go score my own whole bottle.

  5. Pom, red musk, and a whiff of melon. I actually get more melon out in the hairgloss version than I ever did in the perfume or bath oil because red musk is such a powerful note on me. This one as a HG is much fruitier. It actually makes me think of sangria.

  6. We have the best sinkholes. Terrific sinkholes. Our sinkholes are tremendous. YUUUGE. No administration has ever had a sinkhole like this, believe me. Obama didn’t have sinkholes. Sad!

The scent of a swamp self-draining: globs of wet earth, crushed grass, and untended dandelions sliding into a morass of moss-crusted opoponax, labdanum, and tar.

Proceeds from the sale of this scent benefit the American Civil Liberties Union.

This reminds me to Take a Knee - but if possible, this is grassier. There's grass, dandelions, and a touch of moss and dirt. But in general, this smells like freshly mowed grass, with a touch of dandelions. It's fresh, clean, and gender neutral. Did you want a grassy dandelion blend? Then pick this puppy up. Good throw and wear length.

  7. Copal, marigolds, mums. Overall it smells like a smoky marigold and mums blend. It definitely has that Mexican Day of the Dead Flair, and my closest guess is the Calavera Catrina is a kissing cousin. If you liked Calavera Catrina or Day of Skulls, give this a whirl. It's a much more smoky floral though. Good throw and wear length.

  8. This one is as advertised. It's a very caramelly patchouli. Both notes are equally present and strong. This one has great staying power. Six hours later and it pretty much smells like you just applied it. If you love a nice, soft wearable patchouli, give this a whirl. Good throw, excellent wear length.

  9. From Facebook: Witchs Tea Party is a lilac-dappled earthy green tea

This one is one of the more interesting Lilith creations. I get whiffs of lilac and green tea, but there is a citrusy floral in this, and overall it actually reminds me to a perfume in my youth. It's got that blooming floral citrus freshness with a bit of muskiness in the drydown. I can't put my finger on which commercial perfume this reminds me to but I'll edit the review once my brain pings me. Needless to say, because of that scent association, it makes me think of a young teenage girl. This is like the scent of middle school. Great throw and wear length.

  10. Sugared apples and blueberries. This one is very fruit candy based and it smells most strongly on wet. The fruit sort of dissipates as it dries, and I get a whiff of creaminess on the drydown. This one is low throw and wear length on me. Sugary, fruity.

  11. On wet, it's mainly a fudgy chocolate buttercream. As it dries, the chocolate dissipates on my skin and I get more of a vanilla buttercream. Unfortunately the type of butter or cream note is the type to go somewhat plasticky on my skin, so it ends up like a really nice vanilla plasticky doll smell. Medium throw, good wear length.

  12. Sugary cotton candy Dorian. The Dorian aspect is much more prominent on wet, but as it dries down the vanilla from Dorian comboed with the cotton candy sugar really make it a vanilla sugary musk. You can still catch the Dorian origin of the blend. Medium throw and wear length.
