The Bride is a heady vanilla-ed magnolia and honey musk blend. It's beautiful floral musk. I can see why people really really dig this.
-
Deep, earthy cocoa, nutty woody chestnut on a base of patchouli. I don't get the honey straight up but it brings a sweetness to the deep/earthy chewiness of this blend. I actually really want to eat this as a bonbon and would love to have seen it as a bath oil.

Dragon's blood, fresh laundered sheets and honey. This smells fresh, clean and mildly soapy on me.
-
I am hoping this works out on the hubby, because its subtly manly sexy. I get vanilla, white sandalwood and leather. And it smells phenomenal. Decent throw and wear length. Definitely a masculine sandalwood/vanilla with a touch of leather.
Dead on for sinister, sexy vanilla.
UGH. SO GOOD.
...
Wait, this is horrible, horrible, sinister vanilla. You'll all hate it. All of you. Just send your untouched bottles to me. I'll safely dispose of this.

Cascading Blossoms is a giant Hawaiian bloom of creamy gardenia, sweet white orchid and a touch of fragipani. It's gardenia goes on a giant tropical vacation. Huge throw and wear length.
It's a little too much gardenia for me.

Leather, moss, patchouli. Hint of rose and vanilla to soften this up. This smells like a refined outdoorsy leather. And quite honestly one of the more interesting room sprays that the BPTP has had in my opinion.
Beautiful, and yes, I agree withe the ambiguous vibe. I imagine this is what Marlene Dietrich would have preferred to smell like.

Resinous myrrh, with a trace of acrid gunpowder. This one is definitely a bit odd for me.
-
Dark smoky, chewy, chocolate. I get vanilla and definitely some incense on the drydown.
-
Super smoky bitter vetiver, touch of tobacco and chocolate. Too richly smoky for me.
-
Oh god, I got acrid, sour oudh and then super stinky patchouli. This did horrible, horrible things on my skin chemistry. And yes, it had a GREAT throw.
*HEARTBROKEN*

Lavender, cedar, and a touch of frankincense. This smells like a luxurious lavender blend. LOVE IT.
-
PEONIES! This smells like peonies, carnation, and a touch of honey. This one is sweet, heady peony heavy. WOW.
-
Green apple and gin! This smells fresh, clean, and green. This is really fresh and nice.

Lemon peel and white sandalwood with sweet amber and black tea.
This one is a bit of an odd duck. From the tester, it smells like an oily paper umbrella to the point that I was questioning whether to spritz or not. I ended up using a tiny bit, and the strongest note you get is lemon, sandalwood and then amber. It actually smells pretty clean and fresh. Very spring-like.
If you simply went with what it smelled like at first sniff from the spritzer, you probably wouldn't spray it! -
Recollection is sweet foodie vanilla with marshmallows. I get slight caramel/butter notes to this. Definitely the most foodie of the Lupercalia 2016 bath oils I've tried.
-
Honestly, to me, this smells like sandalwood and the creamy vanilla ends up as a white chocolate-type on me. I didn't get the rose at all. In some ways, this definitely reminded me to Victorian Virgin with Cherubs, as to me it was a chocolate + sandalwood/amber/resin sort of smell. Gorgeous.

Tangerine, red musk, ti leaf, vanilla orchid, and white honey.
Secrets of the Hanamachi smells like citrusy musk, a touch of honey, and orchids. It's a contrast of pleasant florals with a very sexy background. Definitely asian in vibe. -
Smoky vanilla, amber and a touch of oudh. This one is a sophisticated musky vanilla (definitely vanilla-centric) with amber and a touch of oudh. I don't really get red musk from my spray. It smells sexy and luxurious.
-
The Love Swing is a blackened vanilla with a hint of patchouli. For me, this is much more wearable than say Revenant Rhythm. The vanilla makes me think of Silkybat actually, but the patchouli is different.
-
Departing Like Smoke is a sophisticated floral amber with a touch of sandalwood. Subtly sexy, this is like French grey silk underwear. Some may find it too subtle to be sexy, but I find it devastatingly glamorous in an understated way.
I would consider more of this.

Smut is a predominantly sweet red musk blend on my hair. It's upfront in your face sexy.
-
Blue musk, wine, and iris. I see this as a very dark purple blend, and I can see it working well with fruity blends, but I really get a big hit of blue musk from this.
-
To me, this was red musk and honey. It's a very red musk centric gloss. Sweet red musk.
I'll be interested to comparing it to Smut.
-
Patchouli, red musk, beeswax and smoky copal. Very sexy, musky.

Dark red wine, roses and a touch of myrrh and poppy. This one is a deeply sensuous red wine. The roses, myrrh, and poppy prevent it from just smelling like red wine. Decent throw, low wearlength though.
Red wine, deep, brooding.
