  1. I really really like the green in Luperci. It's a nice ivy/moss green, that on the first and two coats is very sheer. I've also done three coats, and I have to say that the translucence prevents the shade from being too flat.

    Lovely!

  2. So I managed to swap for a tester of this, and it smells more than just sugary dark chocolate, a whiff of cream. I would say that there's some dried grass, a touch of wood, and maybe some bourbon in there. It's richer, more complex and definitely more than just a foodie blend. Candy Butcher has never been a blend that has worked for me, but I am very impressed by the prototype.

  3. Unnumbered.

So this Chaos definitely has vanilla, and it has an almost bubbly/oily component at it that made me think 'flue gas' from the Century Guild Century Guild 'When I' scent. I think it may be narcissus. It ends up being slightly masculine on me.

    So steampunk sort of Oriental.

  4. Oooh, I totally had a bottle of this and forgot to review it. Based on the super sketchy notes I took, it smelled like pink ice with a blush of amber. It was pink, with a touch of minty, touch of rose, and touch of amber.

  5. Coffee chewy caramel. Honestly this smells like coffee candy chews and a touch of myrrh. I think its the combination of vanilla and coffee. It's not as strongly "coffee" as I would have liked, and it has both a low throw and wear length.

  6. Citrusy pine sandalwood. Which to be honest, smells a little like the White Sandalwood SN from 2004. It's that type of sandalwood. Not my favorite, but I do love it in the drydown. Smoother, warmer, slightly spicy.

EFF it, I need more sandalwood in my life.

  7. Silky clove and tobacco, with a touch of red roses. In some ways this reminds me to the BPTP Red Rose blend, partly because of the clove, but there's WAY more tobacco in it. I'd actually see this aging fantastically, and I'm curious on how this will smell a year from now. If I had patience, that's what I would do. The tobacco note is that chewy sweet tobacco like from the French Tobacco SN that everyone seem to be crazy about.

I may have to find more of this.

  8. Jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli and musk. This one has a bit of Gaiman's War in it, with a heavy dose of patchouli and jasmine. It's red-blooded jasmine and very in your face. Great throw and wear length.

  9. Tulip SN is a very delicate floral blend. I wouldn't call this white, as it has too much green in it. It's like a soft, wispy floral that is very light and clean. I would consider this fairly realistic to a real tulip (more like a bunch of tulips in a meadow type of blend) but it has almost no throw and no wear length, which is unsurprising considering its age.

  10. Osmanthus is a creamy white floral, with a touch of spice at the end. It's a very velvety scent and smells like a touch of honey and maybe apricots? The drydown seems to hold spice and a touch of leather.

    Very pretty.

  11. Magnet is definitely an lemon-heavy (either lemon balm, citronella, or even lemongrass) with herbals. For me, the aspect of Magnet that most resonates with me is amplification. It feels like an amp or a megaphone. Whatever there is, there is MORE of it, if that makes sense.
