Yipe!
in Halloweenie
Strong black cherry and blackberry cream. It sort of reminds me to Gothabilly and Black Cherry Love oil in scent. Medium throw and wear length.
Waaay too foodie for me.
-
Creamy, frozen iris with some powder and aldehydes. It smells like an iris scented cold cream. Chilling, cold, and oddly ceramic to me. Good throw and wear length.
-
Pomegranate, black berry, myrrh and a touch of patchouli. This one was a red-purple fruit mix with some myrrh as the base. Good throw and medium wear length. It ended up a sort of as a pomegranate red wine type of blend on my skin and reminds me to a Lupercalia scent She Crushes for Men Deadly Wine
-
This oddly enough smelled like olive blossom, a touch of honey, and maybe some dirty leafy patchouli. This one has been the oddest Dead Leaves on my skin. But yeah, I actually get a very strong olive oil note from this blend. Good throw and wear length.
-
Jungle greens, wet dirt and a touch of black musky wood. It smells like a jungle. Dark, damp, and sort of elemental. Medium throw and wear length. I was surprised at how masculine this actually came out on my skin. Good throw and wear length.
-
Dead Leaves, chewy tobacco and just a touch of berry. Actually, the berry may well be MIA since I get a ton of chewy tobacco (it smells like a darker version of French Tobacco SN) and dead leaves. Great throw and wear length.
-
Toasty, creamy oudh with touches of cocoa and patchouli, with just a touch of coffee. It dries slightly muskier than that on my hair.
-
Herbal marigolds, which is herbally and strong and kinda bitter. Good throw and wear length.
-
Sugared cardamom and some light aquatic. No leaves. This almost smells like a fougere. I'd say gender neutral. Low throw and medium wear length.
-
Sour sugary potpourri. I get a bit of the pumpkin coming through, and a ton of sugar, but somehow together it codes to a potpourri/fall spice mix on my nose. Medium throw and wear length.
I think this would make a fantastic room scent.
-
Red musk, white musk, and a touch of apple. The apple was stronger on wet, but it was quickly over taken by the musks, primarily the red musk. Slightly appley-red musk Low throw, good wear length.
-
Beeswax, incense, and a touch of ambergris. This is really a beeswax/incense blend. I got alot more of beeswax on wet, and as it dries the incense comes out. The ambergris sort of keeps some of the sweetness of the beeswax in place. Medium throw and wear length.

Ghostly violets. Have you ever seen Cabin in the Woods? If you have, read on. If you haven't, well, spoiler right below.
...
You know how those kids chose their own fate in the basement? Yeah, this smells like an old bridal bouquet that has some violet perfume squirted on top, because it smells old and nostalgic. And the minute you breathe it in, you summon a vengeful Miss Havisham type ghost (is this considered a spoiler for Great Expectations, whoops...) in her old, cobwebby bridal dress, who sort of smells nice but underneath has this super menacing aura? And then slowly but surely, she slowly haunts and kills those around you. Ever watched Insidious? Then YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT with Patrick Wilson's character. Ugh, I am getting the chills just remembering that.
Actually, to continue with all the movie references, this would be totally at home in the Crimson Peak line. Gothic, ghostly violets. Medium throw and wear length.
If you ever wanted a menacing violet blend, well, you got it.

Watery delicious apple with a touch of violet. This one smells like the apple fragrances that a royal princess maiden would wear. It's pure apples with just a touch of sophistication. Good throw and wear length.
I can see this being a good gateway BPAL for young girls.

Leaves, chamomile, and a hint of red roses. Its an oddly cold and soothing blend to me. The coldness comes from the leaves note, and the chamomile adds a very soothing quality. But it makes me think of the comfort you get when you're close to death. As it dries, I get more of the white tea note and that really makes it more and more spectral to me. Good throw and wear length.
-
Spicy cinnamon and apple, with a touch of ginger and red wine. Honestly, this smells fantastic and I wish it were a candle. UGH, this makes me want hot spiced cider so badly right now. Good throw and wear length.
-
Red apples, a ton of vetiver, whiff of cacao. I get mainly apple and vetiver, and on the drydown the vetiver is winning. It sort of reminds me to the Gas Lamp's Flare. Medium throw and wear length.

Incense, blackberries, and a touch of orchid. .... Morgause, is that you? Because you smell regal and purple and incensey, and you changed your seasonal fruit from plums to blackberries, but its all with keeping in that purple fruit theme, so not really a deviation for you, is it? Strong throw and wear length.
So if you were looking for a blackberry version of Morgause, or Morgause didn't work for you because of the plum or you wanted her to be less flowery, here's something to try out.
All you witchy ladies that like to smell regal and powerful, this one is for you.

Strong cedarwood and a touch of white rose. So on wet, all I can smell is the cedar wood. Like cedar and pencils and cedar in your face. And remember that time you got locked in the closet and all you could smell was the wood? Yeah, like that. It dries down to a primarily cedar smell with touches of white rose and davana, which lead to a light floral wisp around all that wood. Strong throw and wear length.
But guys, guys, get in on this. Especially if you like smelling like a tree. And then you give hugs, which are really just like climbing into a closet. You know, like that closet that took you to Narnia? Because I imagine that closet had a strong wood smell, and you should have a strong smell because when you're magical and can go places, and your arms are just waiting to take that special someone on that special journey.

I'm adding in additional information that our own Doc Constantine provided via email:
"We use no animal products in anything with leather, butter, cream, milk, ambergris, blood, civet, or musk in the color copy. We create vegan accords to simulate the scents. Scents with honey, beeswax, and "butter C02" in the description contain honey, beeswax, and butter C02 respectively. Other references to butter - anything without the C02 designation - are an accord, and therefore vegan." -
Licorice and teak. If you like licorice, give this a whirl. The oil was super dark brown. Licorice and smooth teak. Dark, spicy, foreboding. Medium throw and wear length.
-
This smells like ivy, lichen (which to me just smells like moss), and a touch of benzoin. It's a green, crisp, gender neutral to masculine blend. Medium throw and wear length.
-
Green musk, bamboo, and lemon. This one is very fresh and breezy. Good throw and wear length.
-
Pine, berries, and a musk with a touch of cedar. It's a clean, masculine blend that is very Yule-centric to me. To me, this smells like a version of Mistletoe mixed with Holly King. Good throw and wear length.
And now..... I really want a snowy piney Christmas event.

Sugared lemon and a touch of pumpkin. This sort of smells as if Lemon Scented Sticky Bat flew into a pumpkin pie and got covered in goo. Medium throw and low wear length.
