  1. So this smells like sueded leather, touch of whiskey, musk and bay rum. It's fairly assertive and lasts a long time. I sprayed this on the comforter in our room in the afternoon, and I could still smell it this morning. It smells heavy and rich, and like sueded leather, and its warm and inviting.

  2. Mrs. Driscoll, 11 Barrow street, keeps a third class house of assignation. Place mean and dirty.

Patchouli, fig leaf, flue smoke, opium tar, and tobacco absolute.

Oooh, so this one is patchouli, chewy tobacco and a touch of opium. It's dark, heavy, gritty patchouli and tobacco based hair gloss. Good throw and wear length.

  3. On wet, this is olive blossom and florida water. And then this amazing transformation of tobacco + bay rum + patchouli comes out. And yes, This smells like an amped up version of Voodoo mixed with the herbs in Hellhound. And really, it smells manly, sexy and earthy. UNF.

I dropped a little on the mouse pad and it smells very differently on the skin as opposed to just on an inanimate object. The warmth clearly makes everything blend together.

    Must try on mr. zee_zee.

  4. Dark, earthy, rooty. I get warm patchouli, dry leaves, and a touch of mandrake. This smells like dirt.

But the magical kinda of dirt. The dirt you pick up in the super old haunted cemetery in your town at like midnight on a new moon day, because you have to work some magic.

    Powerful, manly, earthy.

  5. Manly aquatic fougere. Kelp, salt, and opoponax. I'm actually curious to see how mr. zee_zee likes this one. Good throw and wear length.

Honestly, I wish more of the BPAL menfolk would try this. It sits in that intersection between a traditional aquatic and a fougere. And to me, this may in fact be a nice introduction for men to get into BPAL. Familiar enough not to spook them away, spooky enough to keep them interested.
