  1. Myrrh and labdanum, with a whiff of jasmine. The jasmine is the first note that hits your nose, and then it sort of dissipates a little warming up to a warm resinous base.. However, this is precisely the sort of jasmine that doesn't work for me. Good throw and wear length.

  2. Cherry blossoms and lilies in the snow. This one is light, fresh, and floral. Very Asian to my nose and would have been perfectly at home with the Shungas as well. Good throw and wear length.

I would see this being very appropriate for a young girl.

  3. I just got a decant, but it does not appear that the bottle was rolled prior to decanting. I get honey, tea, a touch of chocolate and leather. This is very honey and tea heavy. It's medium throw and low wear length.

However, I wouldn't neessarily say that this decant is representative of the blend itself as it seems to be very light in color.

  4. Brown leather, blood orange and a touch of dusty amber. This one reminds me alot to a Future Primitive Soap lotion I'm wearing which is Rook and Raven. And I think tis the combination of brown leather + orange. More orange than I expected. Good throw and wear length. I would be curious to see this on a guy.

  5. Thanks to the generous swapper for a tiny tester of this!

At first note, I just get the eucalyptus, powdery iris, and blue musk and it sort of smells unpleasant. But then the blueberry blooms, the eucalyptus recedes, and I'm left with a blueberry and iris mix that is fruity and delicate. It gets slightly more perfumey as it dries, and I am assuming that it is the oudh. Top notch, and would definitely buy a bottle of this.

ETA: Again, when first sprayed the combination of powdery iris and blue musk is unpleasant to me, to the point that I go OMG am I really putting this on my hair? And then I comb my fingers through my hair, and the blueberry pops up, so does a teensy bit of oudh, and the iris basically vanishes. It ends up a ghostly blueberry like smell and I love it. But yeah, the first 30 seconds makes me question my sanity.

  6. I get a weird licorice heavy rootbeer with a brush of raspberries, and an oddly metallic tinge. It sort of smells actually like rootbeer gummi bears with a brush of licorice. More wearable than I originally thought. Medium throw and wear length.

  7. This one is so interesting to me. Underneath the cold layer of elemi and amber, I get a mix of black tea and labdanum that smells almost like aniseed but isn't. It's a warm, gooey sort of resinous blend with herbal touches. It makes me think of winter in the same ways that "coal candy" is really licorice. Medium throw and wear length.

For those of you that enjoy licorice, give this a whirl.
