  1. Strong baked apple pie, and a ton of crust. Loads of cinnamon. I dabbed this on my elbow, and in my first 12+ years of BPALing, I had an allergic reaction for the first time. I put this on the crook of my elbow yesterday and it definitely blew up. Good throw and wear length.

  2. What did you do with the doctor? she asked, and laughed. I thought the Doctor came in here ten minutes ago.

Im sorry, I said. I was hungry.

    And we both laughed.

Ill go find her for you, she said.

I sat in the doctors office, picking my teeth. After a while the assistant came back.

Im sorry, she said. The doctor must have stepped out for a while. Can I make an appointment for you for next week?

I shook my head. Ill call, I said. But, for the first time that day, I was not telling the truth.

An antiseptic white scent, splattered with blood.

This isn't as unusual or out there as I was expecting it to be. It smells, for the most part, like yellowed, dry, dusty/powdery flowers. It distinctly smells yellowy to me. Like finding a trunk of old flowers, yellowed lace, and forgotten letters. The blood is like a hint of sour, fruity, red wine. Every once in a while, I think I smell a grungy metallic, like foil wrapping cigarettes. Mostly, though, this is a sweet, powdery, antique floral smell to me.

The blood is like a fruity red wine, and there's bit of white florals, touch of lace and metal. It's like a sweet resin/wine. There's a dusty lace bit that comes out later. Medium throw and medium wear length.

  3. It was genetic engineering at its finest: they created a breed of human to sail the stars: they needed to be possessed of impossibly long life-spans, for the distances between the stars were vast; space was limited, and their food supplies needed to be compact; they needed to be able to process local sustenance, and to colonise the worlds they found with their own kind.

The homeworld wished the colonists well, and sent them on their way. They removed all traces of their location from the ships’ computers first, however. To be on the safe side.

The scent of white-hot metal and stardust, limned with glowing bergamot aldehyde.

I really enjoy the Chariot - there's a metal note like in Torture Queen, a citrusy chypre. It's bright, sophisticated, and for those people that want a masculine cologne that smells more like a commercial perfume, should really try. Good throw and wear length.

  4. The nights are at their longest, the sky is at its darkest. The air is still with reflective silence. A bouquet of night-blooming flowers, petals dusted with frost. Cereus, datura and moonflower accord, night phlox, honeysuckle, silver thyme, nicotiana, pale tuberose, white mint, and blue musk.

A huge bloom of night flowers - cereus, moonflowers, honeysuckle, blue musk. Great throw and wear length. This is a gorgeous white floral bouquet.

  5. Watery blue and smells like bluebonnets and green stems. This smells very Spring-like, wildflowers and it's got a great throw. Very floral. It goes a little soapy on drydown but its gorgeous and springlike and very wildflowery.

  6. By now it was about midday and a darkness fell over the whole land, which lasted until three in the afternoon; the suns light failed. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus gave a loud cry and said, Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit; and with these words he died.

Radiant golden amber suffused with holy incense smoke compounded from acacia, myrrh, cassia, balsam, frankincense, cinnamon, onycha accord, and galbanum.

Cassia, cinnamon, galbanum, and amber and smoke. This one is a very spice-cassia heavy blend with amber and smoke. It's golden, and burning, and both a blinding shining sort of blend, and a dark smothering sort. I think its the heaviness of the spices that leads to an almost occlusive quality. Great throw and wear length.

  7. Silvery lavender, sweet amber and hot metal. This is a very interesting lavender perfume. It's very wearable, very bright, and not somnolent at all. For those of you that are a fan of Lilith's lavender blends, this one may be a match as well. Good throw and wear length.
