Thanks lady, you solved my mystery! Sorry for the late reply, but I just saw this.

Bittersweet cocoa absolute with thirteen herbs to help keep evildoers at bay: laurel leaf, caraway, Irish moss, clove bud, Solomon's Seal, master root, white sage, lotus root, bronze fennel, broom straw, angelica, purple basil, and star anise husk. This one was a really weird Thirteen for me. It was a watery, mossy chocolate herby blend. Did I mention watery? It was like an aquatic chocolate.

Mystery Number is what the decant says. I think this used to have melon, because I smell a musky melon (cantaloupe style), and resins. Maybe myrrh? Yup, still musky melon with resins in the back.

CDLXXXV (485): this one is sharp, lemony floral. Golden color. There is some sandalwood lurking in the background. On the drydown, the sandalwood is much more present, I also get a weird almost cherry overlay to it.

The absolute darkest scents? dark, ghostly, haunting, scary,
zankoku_zen replied to Cinder's topic in Recommendations
So, my favorite dark and haunting blend that is still wearable has to be Acluophobia. I think the manly equivalent for this is The Final Darkness For disturbing I'd go with: Gore Shock - sticky blood The Day Burned White - haunted house plaster Peninsula Fulminum - scorched wood Worm Moon 2014 - decaying earth It Doesn't Matter Which Way You Go - scorched fur Battle of Vigidr - Viking Apocalypse of Ash and Destruction The Burying Ground - Gore Shock + dirt Memory of Primal Secrets - evil ocean I found in general that the Misk Valley Yule blends of 2013 on the whole seem to be pretty 'eerie'. -
Carnation, geranium and hints of vanilla and tobacco. I really get the geranium on wet, and as it dries I get the carnation with hints of vanilla with a swirl of smoky patch. This ended up smokier and darker than I wanted it to. I was hoping the vanilla would sweeten the geranium more than this. But on the other hand, it smells pretty and deadly. So apropos?

Lola was rose with hints of pomegranate, patchouli and just a whiff of clove. But still, primarily a rose blend. Again, because it has been a while since this was formulated, the scent on this one was fairly weak.

This one was a very clean sandalwood, with just a hint of rose and frankincense. Again, because it's been a while since these have been formulated, it wasn't strongly scented.

CDL (450) This one started off like cherry blossoms - white, floral, and slightly fruity. It then dried down to something that smells like Ivory soap.
-
CCXLI (249) This one is a heavy, rich, foodie cocoa/chocolate blend with vanilla and musk. It reminded me a lot to Boomslang. MXXII or MXXXII (1022 or 1032) Citrusy floral. It smelled like a combination of jasmine and ylang ylang. Not a winner in my book.

I'm actually fairly enjoying the bath salts. It is vanilla and saffron, and just a touch of floral honey. You do however need a fair amount to scent the water, but I think that the Courtesan bath salts in general needed a generous portion for what can be achieved with a little bit of bath oil.

Pete Lala is smoky, woodsy, leather. It has a slight sweetness, and the leather is soft. It's manly, but very Southern gentleman like (in the same way some of the atmos are very Southern-like because of the vibe and overall impression they create). Pleasant, powerful, leather.

DCCLXXIX (779) This one was a manly, green musky blend. I think aloe is a component. It smells similar to Xiuhtecuhtli, but manlier. I don't think there was copal, but possibly incense in it. Admittedly, at this point my nose was a little tired from sniffing multiple Chaos blends.
-
CCLXXXXIX (289) - This one was clean and wispy sandalwood. I swear that there is some white musk, and maybe a white floral like magnolia. So yes, clean, slightly floral, wispy sandalwood.

Chaos Theory V: Recursive Self-Similarity v1

CCCLXL? (360) - This one is a slightly more mentholic Dorian with sassafras in it. It's not all that foodie/sweet, and its more sassafras than a rootbeer scent. CCXCIII (#293) - This one is a Dorian with a fruity floral note in it that I wasn't able to identify. It was sweet, nondescript fruity floral to me. Both Chaos bottles are the property of jewelbug -

#407 This one is a cocoa, sweet vanilla blend that is very much like Underpants. The drydown is slightly plasticky, but it conjures heavy similarities to Underpants. -
I never had the desire to test Snow White atmo because the perfume is a bit of a hot mess on me. However the atmo smells more like straight up sweet almond, and is like a chillier version of Dana O'Shea. Soft, cool, slightly sweet.

Barmbrack is a good solid fall baked goods blend. It is gingerbread-like, in that it is spices and baked goods, but doesn't quite feel like a gingerbread. It's sweet, spicy and toothsome. It smells like a house baking in the Fall. Definitely very Autumn-like.

Brown sugar, white sugar and just a touch of fruitiness. Way too sweet for me, but if you're looking to sprinkle "sugar" throughout your house, give this a whirl.

Sissy was a big surprise to me. On wet, I got rootbeer, woodsmoke, a touch of lilac and what almost smelled peppery. It dried to a smoky, slightly musky rootbeer/sassafras blend. Very pleasant, very wearable. It was sweet, cuddly, and prevented from veering into the foodie territory by the smokiness of it.
-
Vanilla, white rose, tobacco. It's a pretty white rose floral and yet rugged, and sort of Western. This is the smell of a lady that is able to pistol whip you if she has to. Don't make her do it, because it ain't gonna be pretty, pardner.
-
Lush luscious jasmine with a patchouli base. As it dries, I get some of the magnolia and gardenia peeping through - which means occasionally I get whiffs of wet wool. PASS.
-
Son of BiggerCritter, I so wanted you to work out. On wet, you started off with a blast of lime, coconut and pineapple, and quickly developed a dreaded latex note. BPAL's cream note strikes again. SAD SAD PANDA FACE. It dries down to a lime/coconut plastic. Remember BBW's Lime Coconut lotion? Yes, it smells like that. But better. But I can't wear it. *sits under the Tree of Despair (picture here)*

Hunger Moon 2014 was a bracing white grapefruit and lemon verbena blend. Sadly, it dried down to a straight up lemon verbena blend. I would have been happy if it was grapefruit + ozone, and the lemon verbena is pleasant but not what I was hoping for.
