Oh, Pumpkin Ice Cream, I had had such high hopes for you. Unfortunately, you are that melty vanilla plastic type of ice cream. Take Detestable Putrescence (that Grim Grisly melty vanilla ice cream blend) and add some pumpkin spices to it. That's what I get. Melty, vanilla plastic + spices. *sigh* I wish this had worked out, because I mean, PUMPKIN ICE CREAM people! I guess some things are meant to be eaten, and not worn.

Graham crackers, marshmallows and just enough of pumpkin spices. This is mainly a s'mores smell, with enough allspice in there to make it slightly autumnal. I don't really get chocolate, but do get a metric ton of graham and marshmallows. Toothsome, foodie, smores.

Pine, cypress, resins and DBR. For me, this is a bit of a mess. I get piney woods, resins, and dragon's blood, with no elements to tame them successfully together. Slightly masculine. Low throw, average wear length. Pine woods, resins, DBR.

Redwood, roses, and tea. This smells Victorian, like an old-timey rose perfume, and makes me think of either Victorian.Goth or Romanti.Goth (whichever was the rose inclined one). But yeah, that's what it reminds me of. Good throw, average wear length. Woods, roses, tea.

Frankincense, kyphi, and cassia. Why cassia, how nice of you to bully just about every other single element in this blend. So yeah, tons of cassia - which smells both resinous and incensey at the same time. Cassia toggles between smelling like red wine and smelling like a raisin. I guess she's doing a 50s housewife impression between liqouring it up in the afternoon and baking cookies. Cassia, resin, and incense.

Masculine, clean, fresh ozone and bitter greens. It ends up being a little too dryer sheets on me. It reminds me as well to 51 - but much more green, and more masculine. Average throw, average wear length. Luminous, crisp, clean.

Figs, cedar, and a hint of sage. This is a woodsy figgy blend. Good throw, good wear length. UNF. This is actually pretty good. I may have to consider a partial.

Eucalyptus, mint, grapefruit. It starts off as a minty grapefruit and dries down to a grapefruit laced frankincense and touches of wormwood. It still gives the impression of cold even without being cold. Low throw, low wear length. Minty, grapefruit, resins.

White tea, lilacs and beeswax. For the first hour, this is a fairly chilly blend between the lilacs and the white tea. As it dries, I get more of the beeswax warming it up and it becomes a slightly honeyed lilac and the white tea recedes a bit. Average throw, good wearlength. Warm, lilacs, beeswax.

White florals and aquatic oakmoss. I have something stabbing at my nose - either the ice component combined with the artemisia or the muguet. But its like an icicle sort of jabbing at your nose. Chilly white florals. Slightly watery based. In some ways, it reminds me of drowned lilies in a frozen lake. There's just something wrong with the picture, but you're not going to venture into the water to find that out. Nope. You're smarter than that. You've seen how this movie ends before.

Apple, roses, hint of geranium and wood. I'm surprised at how much apple I get from this. Good throw, good wear length. Polished, apple, feminine.

Strong tangerine, orange, tinges of red musk and snow. Very orangey. I get an orangey musk. Reminiscent of Orange because of the intense orange citrus going on that does not fade in the first 15 minutes. Perhaps a bit too musky for my taste. Orange, citrus, musk

Dark, dull resin with pepper overnotes. I definitely get the labdanum, and I think A TON OF MASTIC. Because its got this weird, burnt rubber smell. Of course this has a decent throw and good wear length. Burnt woods, resins, plastic.

Berry wine, whiskey, stale bread and stale flowers. If Christmas Pudding smelled like festive sangria to me, Deipnophobia smells like Christmas Pudding should smell like, a week later after its been left out. Good throw, good wear length. Stale wine, whiskey, flowers.

Ash, sage, herbs and a touch of Dorian. This to me smells like a medieval Dorian. In the sense you find a dusty piece of pressed cloth with herbs and leftover cologne (Dorian). I really get a metric ton of ask from this. Good throw, good wear length. Ash, herbs, Dorian.
-
Boozy spiced red wine (sangria, is that you?), cassia, suet and sweetness. This to me smells like cassia heavy sangria. And yes, it smells very Christmasy. It makes me think of plush red velvets, potpourri and mulled wine. Great throw, and good wear length. Not my type of blend at all. Cassia, sangria, Christmas.

Lemongrass, hints of davana, and amber. This goes from a citrusy amber blend to a citrusy amber soap on the drydown. Average throw, average wear length. Cool, crisp, soapy.

So, super creamy oak, oudh, chestnut blossom and dabs of honey and patchouli. This is a warm, golden woody blend without having to resort to amber. I get a thin whiff of snow over the woods, and its like vanilla snow adding a bit of freshness to it all. If you're into creamy woods with a good bit of sweetness into it, give this a whirl. In a lot of ways, it reminds me to Glowing Vulva (which went all powdery on me because of the sandalwood), and I can see how the snow bit can be a problematic note for some skin chemistries. But yeah, the feel of it reminds me to Glowing Vulva. In short, Glowing Vulva in the Snow. There you have it. Creamy woods, sweetness, golden.

Vetiver, woods, lemony (either lemon verbena or lemon balm), touch of chamomile. It doesn't smell unpleasant. It smells mainly woody and centered to me. I dabbed some on my chakras this morning and promptly forgot about it. I've been tackling a few long term problems at work, and I just needed a bit of determination and flexibility. I typically reach for Road Opener under these circumstances, but Blockbuster seemed like a good choice. And what do you know, I've made a spreadsheet and a memo, and a timeline, and I think we may be good to go.

Lush, red roses, and a hint of bone white musk. In general there's only a sense of ominous with this, and just a whole bunch of voluptuous red roses. Makes me think of Peacock Queen actually.
-
Camphor, white musk and musky wood. It dries to a musky wood, and bits of teak. It's slightly masculine, slightly eerie. Good throw, good wearlength. Musk, woods, camphor.

Gingerbread, benzoin, and a smidge of patchouli. This one is like an amped up Gingerbread. Slightly masculine. Loads of benzoin.

Snow and lilies. This smells like a wintery lily, with just a touch of snowy frost. It's very delicate, very floral, and makes your hair smell like you've used expensive salon products. It's a little sweet. I think I need an extra dimension to this, something to tone down the sweetness and the lily.
-
This smells like candy vanilla and sugary plums. If you like sweet, candy-like scents give this a whirl. For me, it's definitely mainly that sugary vanilla, with just a touch of plum. Too sweet for us, but definitely makes you think of Sugar Plum Fairy!

This is Snow White. It smells like cool almonds, coconut and white flowers. Yup. I very much adore Snow White as atmo, several of the perfume incarnations turn into a tropical paradise but the hair gloss is more in line with the atmosphere to me. That said, I think I much prefer other HG scents and have come to associate Snow White with cool, crisp sheets as opposed to sexy hair.
