So I snagged a decant of Chaos XVI and it is indeed burnt caramel, foodie vanilla, and yes to the smokyness, but for me it was less musky and more amber like. But yes, this was a foodie, very much like Wezwanie/Hold and in general if you were looking for a smoky dark foodie vanilla + other stuff, this would be the hair gloss to track down.

Shanghai smells like green tea, with a touch of honey. It's light, refreshing, and clean. I'm partial to 'clean' scents for bath products and this was very appealing. Unfortunately, I have too much bath oil at the moment.

Lush red rose, hints of red wine. I really didn't get dragon's blood. It was mostly a very mature, voluptous red rose with a big glass of red wine. Rose lovers, take note.

Oh man, this one is caramel burnt sugar musk. And it smells amazing on my hair. And I may need more. YUP. Color me surprised.

Vanilla sweet, hints of white musk and iris. This one is a delicate vanilla floral. Very pretty, very feminine.

Honeysuckle, honey, sugar and white florals. This is a sweet, honeyed floral. Very summery and if you love honeyed florals, give this a whirl.

Honestly this to me smelled like pumpkin gingerbread on wet. I got pumpkin and both the pimento and red pepper added a foodie spicyness to it. It dried down and brough some of the musk and floral tinge to it, but in general, this smelled like dark, spicy pumpkin.

Red musk, saffron and spices. If you love Scherezade, pick this up. It's just sexy, confident, and comforting. It's the kinda of sexy in tshirt and jeans because you're at the most comfortable.

Musk, roses, and a hint of leather. This one smells dark, womanly and in your face sexy. So yes, ultra sexy hair for you.

Sweet white florals. I get honeysuckle, camellia, and in general it smells like delicate, summery florals. It's flowery, sweet and summery florals.

This is conjure’s most popular go-to blend, bar none. It can be used to augment love, money, and success workings, and as an all-purpose boost to good fortune. From the etsy listing: "The blend includes lemongrass essential oil, citron, darkwood cinnamon oil, CO2 extract of vanilla, and vanilla absolute." When you first spritz it, you smell lemons! It smells bright and sunny and citrusy. And then you catch whiffs of the vanilla, with just a hint of cinnamon. This smells gorgeous. I sprayed this morning because I wanted a bit of good luck. I used Attraction yesterday and got some good results (which I will edit my review from). The effect is not immediate for sprays, I don't think. Would definitely buy more if I had the chance. ETA: And just got off the phone, and heard some really promising news. Fingers crossed. I'm just gonna trade off between Attraction and Fast Luck this entire week until we get the result we want.

Light rose, red wine and tons of resins. This is a incensey + slight bit of rose blend. Very womanly, subtly sexy.

Shub doesn't work for me in the perfume form, but its pretty glorious as a hair gloss. It smells like dark gingerbread on me. Gingerbread and maybe a touch of incense. Toothsome and delicious!

Oh man, this is a smoky poppy hair blend. I smell a touch of ivy. But overall, this is smoky, somnolent and oddly inky. I find it strangely autumnal because its a dark, sort of sleepy smell. It makes me think of poisonous flowers like fox glove. I imagine this is what belladonna smells like.

AHA! So this is what Snake Oil is supposed to smell like! So, in the interest of full disclosure, Snake Oil and I have never gotten along. I've tried it fresh, aged, and super aged and in general there was something in the musk/vanilla interplay that just didn't work out for my skin chemistry. Neither did any of the Snake Pits. In my hair on the other hand, I have this sugared incensey vanilla that just smells epic. And its cool that I can finally wear a version of Snake Oil.

Cedar, sassafras, and a hint of vanilla. In general this is like Tombstone - rugged, outdoorsy woodsy blend.

Flowers! Definitely linden, ylang ylang, carnations and something lemony. It smells pretty, Spring-like and very floral.

Pumpkin Spice Everything smells exactly the same as the atmo version. I get allspice, cinnamon and pumpkin. It smells autumnal, fall like and deliciously foodie.

On wet, it starts off as super peachy, but dries down to a very subtle musky peach and patchouli with an edge of white floral which I can't believe is jasmine. This smells sexy, summery and flirty. I still have a bunch of hair glosses to test out, but this one is very tempting.

I spritzed some Attraction today in the house - just hoping for some sunshine, happiness and love; in general, I asked for a positive atmosphere since its been a bit stressful around the last couple of weeks. It smells less citrusy and potent that then perfume oil - but it's still bright sparkling citrus and I swear there's some honeysuckle in it. It's been a few hours and in general the day has been going pretty well, despite being busy around the house with a number of projects. I've managed to wrap quite a number of BPAL packages and in general I feel happy. Will edit with additional details as the day progresses. ETA: So we received some good news that has some positive effects for the next few weeks. Which really sort of made my day. Additionally, a package I've been waiting for a few weeks showed up at my house. So yes, all good things.

White Tea and Sage is super bright lemony white tea, and super strong. I get maybe a whiff of sage on the very edge, but its generally all white on me. It smells fresh, strong, and in general very energizing. Out of all of the BPTP hair glosses I've tried, this one is perhaps more along the lines of what I think commercially available high end shampoo and hair care products would smell like. In other words, this is great to enable those that are leery about heavy patchouli, musk or other indie types of smells. This one is a perfect gateway hair gloss, in that it smells more along the traditional lines, and then people will fall in love with how shiny and awesome the hair gloss is.

Eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender and clary sage. It smells really strongly minty. And its super effective. The smell is super strong and invigorating, but it doesn't last that long. I used it on my legs this morning after a day of gardening yesterday and trying to get some of the stiffness out of my calf muscles (because bags of dirt are heavy, why are they so heavy? Why do you need so much dirt to fill flower pots? Why?). And I only dabbed on a little, and probably didn't massage as long as I needed to, but it really was great. I need to get more.

Boozy, woodsy vanilla with a hint of anise. Not sure where the anise is coming from but it lends this licorish bit of edge to the blend.

Black patchouli and cedar. This has a smoky, dirty quality to it. Nope. Not for me. Too much patchouli.
