Oh man, this one is really interesting. It's a sweet mandarin note especially on wet on top of chamomile and tobacco. Whoever called this a masculine creamsicle sort of nailed. Deliciously delicious. Good throw and wear length.

Peony, carnation and phlox. This disappears into a mix of fresh, slightly sweet spring florals. Very springy, very girly. Good throw and wear length.
-
Creamy orchid with a whiff of vanilla. This one is a sophisticated floral. The vanilla smells evaporates as it dries, and you're left with a more jungle/plant smelling orchid. Good throw and wear length.
-
Cherry red musk. Yup. If you like either of them, take this out for a spin. Good throw and wear length.
-
Red musk, red leather, red spices. *squints* Is this Melisandre of Asshai from Game of Thrones? I sort of suspect that she sort of smells like this. Overwhelmingly red + musk + leather + spice. Fierce, seductive, deadly. Great throw and wear length.
-
Fresh fir, apricot, white tea and a touch of oakmoss. This is fresh, bracing, and toggles between cool firs and apricot white tea. I actually sort of enjoy the movement. The apricot ends up a little too sweet for me, but its sure a pretty scent. Good throw and wear length.

Chewy tobacco, lavender, and rum. Oooh. This smells slightly pirate-y to me. Masculine, oozing danger. Yes. Good throw and wear length.

Bloody lavender oceans? This one is a weird one. I get salty lavender, red musk, planty musk and a touch of incense. So take lavender, make it bleed musky red, and then drop it into the ocean? It's much more masculine and robust, and dark than I expected. Good throw and wear length.

Violet, apple, angelica (hi absinthe!) and a touch of tobacco. On wet, I got more of a juniper touch. As it dries down and warms up, I get the angelica and the tobacco coming through. So like a violet version of absinthe but with tobacco. This one is a strange one for me. Good throw and wear length.

Sweet, cool peaches and creamy gardenia. Yup. Peaches and gardenia. But hurray, one blend where the gardenia does not smell like wet wool! That said, this may be too sweet and peachy for me. Great throw and wear length.

White tea, honey, and a brush of olive blossom. This one is pretty much a sweet white tea blend. Cool, fresh, clean. Good throw and wear length.
-
Anise, absinthe, and a touch of patchouli. The anise and patchouli are present on wet, but it dries down to an absinthey blend. Kinda wispy. Medium throw and wear length.

Golden, spiced carnation with touches of ginger and honey. This is sweeter and more floral than Morocco. Spicy Oriental floral though.

Consoling Pussy of Horse Face Mountain

Creamy tuberose and wisteria have a weird love child that somehow codes as mildly tropical coconut. Maybe its the incense? I get lush coconut incense, tuberose and wisteria. The oakmoss adds an aquatic vibe which probably is contributing to that lush coconut coding. Great throw and wear length. -
Rugged black leather, a ton of chewy tobacco, and a smidge of red sandalwood (red sandalwood is my fave!). This is almost a manly leather blend I like (why hello there tobacco and red sandalwood, you two sexy beasts you!). Still, much more manly than I can pull off. Sadly leather is not mr. zee_zee's bestfriend. Great throw and wear length.

Black leather and musk. This actually codes more to a brown leather on me, with some vetiver thrown in as an overlay and some black musk as well. I think the musk is meant to evoke horses. This seems like an outdoorsy-sort of leather. Great throw and wear length.

Vanilla, jasmine, and dirty resins (dirty coming from the patchouli/vetiver combination). Jasmine can be so overpowering, but I think both the patchouli and vetiver have sort of tagged teamed it down. Florally pleasant. Good throw and wear length.

This is mainly golden amber and honey, with a touch of lilacs. It's creamy and sweet, but the lilacs keep it from being a foodie scent, and the cardamom comes into the drydown and adds a touch of spice. Gorgeous skin scent on me. Low throw, great wear length.
-
Moss, bamboo, and sandalwood. It's like an aquatic, green sandalwood blend and its much more masculine than I expected. Very refined, urban sexy. Must try this on mr. zee_zee. Good throw and wear length.

This is sort of what I wish Nevertheless, She Persisted would smell like. Golden orange, vanilla, and a touch of woodiness. It's golden orange and delicious skin scent. Low throw, average wear length.

Coconut, goat milk, rice milk and a touch of sugar. This reminds me as a more rice milk version of My Kid and Baby Goat from the Lilith update a few years ago. Or was it last year. You know which one I'm talking about. Sweet, comforting, and milky. Good throw and wear length.

Milk Chocolate, Cacao Cream, Ceylon Cinnamon, and Coffee Absolute
zankoku_zen replied to suki's topic in Lupercalia
This started as a promising coffee, cinnamon, and dark chocolate blend that has devolved into a cardamom, cocoa powder, POWDER and plastic. The cocoa cream definitely has turned on my skin. I'm giving this a hard pass. And I am sad sad sad. -
Blood orange, geranium and a drop of patchouli. This is an orangey-geranium blend and part of me really loves this. Medium throw, low wear length.
-
Pink rose water, sugared cognac. This definitely smells like rosewater. Pink rosewater to be precise. Good throw and wear length.
-
Freesia, lemony spring florals and a touch of woods. This one was sharper and more floral than I expected. There's something here that doesn't agree with my skin chemistry. Good wear length, medium throw.
