Lawful gives me very ambivalent feelings. On wet, it has a very strong oak note. It's woodsy and almost nutty. However, as it dries I get more of the chamomile which smells sort of earthy and the fig leaf and rhubarb, which sweetens the bit a great deal. I think this will be a wonderful layering scent actually. Whereas Evil I feel I could wear on my own, Lawful needs "something".

Fruit musk! And I'd say honeydew melon at that. At least on me. And yes, one of the musks has to be white musk as it has a slight powdery edge to it and a touch of florals. I'd be interested to see how this pairs with other scents, but not loving it on its own.

Sandalwood which sort of smells like cedar, patchouli, and a whiff of masculine cologne. This is fairly manly on me, and very earthy. Would probably be dynamo on the right guy. Hmmm, off to take advantage of mr. zee_zee's wrists!
-
Opium, green tea and tobacco on wet. As it dries I get more of the plum and it turns into a more sophisticated, older woman perfume. Sort of what I would imagine Dior's Poison would smell like having never actually smelt it. Deep, rich, hypnotic.

Incense, patchouli and leather. The leather is black but softened considerably by the incense and the patchouli, making it less of the chemical smell of doom and more like the type of leather in Quincy Morris, although sharper. Very sexy. This is what I would have wanted Spanked to be. That said, its a little too smoky and masculine for me to wear.

Steam.goth is a lovely, sophisticated man's blend. Very bay rum, hint of metal and a whiff of cologne. I bet on the right guy this would be absolutely dynamite!
-
For me, Vamp.goth is more clean, green rose with a trace of opium - which lends it a trace of smoke, and just the barest hint of leather. Not my kind of thing.

Deathrock smells like expensive hair dye. On wet, I get more of the hairspray smell and its like Aquanet. As it dries, I get orchids and something that just smells like hair dye. Plain and simple. Not my cup of tea.
-
For me, the vanilla is definitely the foodie kind. I get something that smells like cake and amber, with touches of gardenia and orange blossom. Pretty, but not for me.

Oh Giraffe.... you are an odd one. You smell like green planty material (is that you sweet grass?), and then as you dry you morph into what smells to me like anise candies. In fact, at this point you're a kissing cousin to Sugar Plum Fairy - except its not plum, it's anise/licore instead. Not that I dislike it, since I do like SPF. On the other hand, after about an hour, you have disappeared into my skin. Oh, ever elusive giraffe!

I detect red wine, amber, spices (cinnamon or cardamom), incense. There is also lotus in it. It has the same Egyptian vibe as the Iteru scents did. I find it richer and deeper than the v3 version. I can see a strong, decisive woman wearing this.

Chaos Theory VI: Recursive Self-Similarity v7

#462 On wet, there's definitely a touch of grape in this, but it essentially dries down to a vanilla cream soda. The cream aspect tends toward plastic on my skin. Sad, because otherwise this is pretty tasty. -
This has the same tea note for me as in Appraisal. It's bright, fuzzy and clean because of the musk and the lemon verbena. It's somewhat sweet and floral and I think it must be the osmanthus. Not really my type of blend but very pretty.

This is gorgeous. I get plum blossom, soft woody branches, whiff of peony and honeysuckle. It's a little sweet, soft Asian floral. Sadly, I do get the strawberry note, which while not as fake as like in Strawberry Moon, is the one discordant note in this blend. But... I really like the rest of it! Fruity floral lovers take note!

Fizzy tangerine, esp. on wet, and then the red musk takes over and hints of geranium. There's a lot of tangerine, esp. on wet but my skin literally eats it up. -

Delicious bay and musky amber. It's a little aggressive on wet, but it dries to a soft, delicious manly bay rum and amber. Smooth. So smooth. This is the smell of a debonair, sophisticated man. Who is dangerous enough for you to stay away from, but smooth enough that you're willing to throw caution to the wind. -

Sweet coconut and asian pear! As it dries down, the sweetness becomes tempered by peppery carnation. This is a kissing cousin to Tiki Princess or Snow White. Sweet, feminine, fruity - slight Asian vibe. -

I get the dreaded Sea Breeze comparison... This is a heady aquatic with a definite Asian spice going on. I get big aquatic and incense hits, and its an interesting dichotomy. Definitely more masculine than anything else. -
Minamoto No Yorimitsu Cuts at the Earth Spider

Minamoto is definitely in the same vein as Gun Moll and Black Lace. Sophisticated, smoky perfume. On me, it flip flops between masculine and feminine. On wet, it's feminine. Drydown more masculine, and then after about an hour, it switches back to female. I definitely get sandalwood, tobacco flower, some musk and patchouli. It's very interesting, very wearable in my opinion. I might have to find a partial... -
Lemon meringue, crust and blueberry... The marshmallow note is odd - waffling between foodie and fake/plastic. If this was straight up foodie, I think I could really go for more of it. Sadly, the marshmallow note does not play well with my skin...
-
On wet it smells like lemon meringue and vanilla! Actually quite delicious. It dries to a very faint lemon meringue and absinthe. It smells yummy and foodie, and if it had a greater throw and longer life I would definitely get more. YUM!
-
On wet, I got grass and lemon candy with a whiff of leather. Actually, it sort of smelled like a rugged cowboy cologne. And it dries almost entirely to leather and dirt. Again, a very cowboy leather - sort of like the warm leather of Dead Man's Hand but there is a slight overlay of blood over it.
-
On wet, tis definitely lemony/limey rose with a hint of dandelion greens. As it dries, it becomes a soft rose, still with a citrus brush and a very woody background. Very light and refreshing. Interesting, but not for me.

Elli's Song is definitely dark and bitter... It smells like smoke, with a slight sweetness. I don't find it as off putting as edensixthday does but it's definitely a smoky scent. There's a slight aquatic base and I think that might actually be the moss. Fairly masculine. Actually, on the right guy, he'd smell like smoke and water.... and uh... deliciously evil? .... YES!

Figgy pastry! I get a ton of figs and cooking spices, and clove is definitely one of them. It's pretty, delicious and... makes me think of fig newtons. EPIC. WIN. I think I need a bottle of it.
