Lambs wool (soft apple mash), cheesecake, and PLASTIC. Which means one of the vanillas in this doesn't work for my skin chemistry. FAIL.

2012 isn't like 2007 on me. In fact, the 2012 version smells more like... sweet raisins. Yup. Raisins. There's something sweet, and kinda powdery and something that smells like raising to me. Skin. chemistry. fail.

The 2012 version I feel is very similar to the 2007 version, except this time it's even softer and more wearable. I don't find it overly sweet, but rather a mishmash of white florals and green notes. It's got a bit of a 'cologne' feel to it, and overall seems to be fairly innocuous. Not creepy at all.

Strong opium and cologne on wet, and it dissipates to a wood/tobacco dominant blend. There's a slight 'linen' hint, which makes me think that's the canvas aspect coming out. But in general it smells woody, tobacco and with a slight sherry note overlayed to it. Slightly masculine in vibe. I was very much hoping that this would be a lily, opium and tobacco blend. But I don't think this quite works with my skin chemistry.

2012 version The 2012 version is better behaved on my skin than 2007. If 2007 was plasticky pear doom, this one is much more of a musky vanilla blend. I get the strongest hit of pear on wet, but the fruit note quickly dissipates and I get a musky vanilla. There's something almost 'dusty' about the vanilla note though. Hrm. Very torn on this one.

Licorice and black musk, and a touch of spice. There's perhaps some dragon's blood in it. In general it smells like armored musky man. This smells more medieval than anything else. You know, like the kind of guy that has just battled 75+ other guys in an armored suit, and then he takes off his armor and you can just SMELL him from like a mile away. And it smells like musk, blood, and scorched earth.

Lush, green, aquatic moss. It definitely smells swamp-y. Its got water + plants, with a slight perfume tinge. Not sure that I enjoy it as an actual scent, but probably blended into other scents quite effectively it gives that watery planty smell that I love.

Boxwood and rosemary. It's uncanny how this smells like a green hedge. Tinge of mud-damp and aquatic greenness give it the creepy vibe. It actually smells... bloated. A creepy green hedge that likes to eat people. That's what it smells like.

This 2012 version is still baby powder, but more aquatic... which means more ivy. But yes, ivy, baby powder and a hint of wood.

Spicy wood, dirty patchouli and hints of incense. Smelly dirty and gritty, and yes... blood-spattered. Too manly for me.

Attrocious Attic 2012 is very different than 2007 on my skin. The 2012 version is more like a rose/lily-tinged lavender with hints of sandalwood. In fact, it reminds me most to the Mysterious Warning, without the leather component. There's something creamy, almost pillowy about the lavender. So, in some ways like a spooky TKO, or straight up Mysterious Warning, sans leather.

Okay... this is creepy rose soap. I mean, yes, it smells like rose soap... but it doesn't smell like ordinary rose soap. This is the soap that lives in that creepy, haunted house that has been deserted for decades. And on a dare, you go in. You walk through the rooms, and all you can smell is dust, mildew, wood rot (you know, not pleasant smells necessarily)... And then you walk into the bathroom, and it smells like rose soap. It smells, well, almost normal and kinda nostalgic. You know, like the kinda soap that you'd find in your grandma's house. Except you're not in your grandma's house. You're in a creepy, deserted, haunted house..... And this is when you realize, oh shit, you're not alone.... AT ALL. Verdict: The soap that ghosts would use. To smell pretty. Before they go and scare the beejebus out of you.

Soft lavender and strawberry leaf gives way to STRAWBERRY CANDY AND HONEY. GETTING SMEARED ALL OF YOUR FACE. AND NOSE. AND I CAN'T BREATHE. IT ALL SMELLS SWEET. .... (so yeah, if you're looking for sugary blends, give this a whirl. Lavender, why did you leave me all alone? Why?)

Green, stemmy floral. It's nondescript to me. It had a bit of a sour tinge on wet, and then dried to a creamy, slightly sweet floral. PASS.

To me, Evening Stock SN..... smells like Charlie. Yeah, that 80s perfume? Except better. It's lush, sophisticated, heady, purple floral. It's got a bit of an resinous drydown. And goddamn does it stick around. After 12 hours, I can still smell it on my wrist (very skin close, but still prevalent). .... Mayhaps I need a bottle?

So Silver Haired Bat starts up as an odd musky cotton candy blend, that quickly warms and loses its sweetness on me. It dries to a smooth, slightly sweet cedar and amber blend, with hints of pepper that gives it a spicy note on me. Whee! I feel like I dodged a bullet. Part of me really wanted musky cotton candy. My wallet however was not in concurrence with the idea.

Light, clean and fresh. It's a little watery, a little soapy on me but I am absolutely astounded that it doesn't smell like actual bubblegum on me. Weirdly fabulous!

Dark, syrupy, musky. It reminds me to Spawn of the She Devil the most (Snake Oil second). It's very wearable, but probably not by itself and I'd definitely use it to make any scent "sexy muskier".
-
Oh lord, it smells like an outside garden. I do get whiffs of moss, and sunflower (a little bitter, which works well to counteract the sweetness), ivy. It smells like slightly sweet blossoms, and greenery. FABULOUS. LOVE IT!

Leather and dandelions... It's a bit odd, actually. It's like Orc had a wee-baby. It's got that same green planty smell with a TON of leather.
-
Coconut, rice milk and hints of apricot. It's a milk, creamy coconut and rice milk. It's tropical and lush.
-
Red musk, frankincense and leather. Sexy, leather, red.
-
Lush orchids, hint of bitter marigold and smokiness. Sophisticated, heady, womanly.

I am utterly and very pleasantly surprised with this blend. It's got a hellish Pom (you know, its bright and fruity but if you EAT it, you have to stay in Hell with Hades for like, ever) and the entire vibe is RED. I swore it smelled like it had red musk in it (probably due to the fruity Pom), but on the drydown I realise it's the myrrh and the leather having some a SEX baby hybrid that smells like the red musk single note. The Apple of Cain is the fruit from the strawberry tree... Have no idea what it smells like, but probably is contributing to the fruitiness of the blend. Slight whiff of cognac after about an hour of wear. This blend reminds me to Regina Erebi and the other 'hell' Poms (and that Pom atmo I can never spell the name of).

To me, this is definitely a lighter rose (more along the lines of a tea rose) note. It's starts out lemony/citrus on wet, and as it dries that drops off a little, the rose aspect develops and so does the 'green stem' part, which actually reminds me more to the 'green stem' fresh quality that some of the Rose Red blends do. It sort of reminds me to some of the Yule 'christmas rose' blends[is it the First Soft Snow?] which aren't really a real rose but some time of narcissus, although sometimes it veers into the tea rose category. Fresh, citrusy, rosey.
