Cedar, rose, almond. This smells vaguely Middle Eastern, and quite a bit spicy. Interesting, but not for me.
-
Red musk, honey, touch of elemi. It's a sweeter version of the Red Musk SN on me. Pass.
-
Snow, lychee, and lavender. Again, I find the composition of this one odd, and vaguely Asian in feel. I'm very pleased that one of the main notes I get is lychee, but it seems a weird juxtaposition against the snow and lavender notes. Snowy, fruity, lavender.

This is definitely an odd blend. I get the main base of patchouli and cedar, with hints of iris and soft white florals. It's a mix of a patchouli/soft flowers blend. Pretty, light, odd.

Frankincense, patchouli and a touch of cinnamon. Spicy, resinous, woody.
-
Honey myrtle, roses, ivy and a touch of cypress. This is a soft floral, something that I would associate with the South. Damp flowers, lazy sensuality. Humid, sexy, floral.

I have to say that this smells fantastic to me. I have on the other heavily orchid Our Lady of Pain scent, O Daughter of Death and Priapus, and its such a contrast. Yes, to the orchid. With hints of patchouli, and opium and musk. It's lighter, still feminine. Still wearable. Love it.

Opium, orchid, tobacco, touch of plum. This reminds me to Black Orchid, Shadow Witch Orchid (my favorite BPAL orchid blend), but throw in some of the darkness from the Nightmare Land of Dreams blend. It's dark, heady, sophisticated. Dark of the moon, witch woman sort of blend. I really enjoy opium, and I enjoy a good orchid note, and this seems to combine both. I just wonder if this is too dark for me to actually wear.

Lilies, lilac and musk. This is a white floral musky blend that is Spring-like - delicate but animalistic at the same time.
-
So this is LEMON, hints of cherry blossom, on a base of the same sweet slushy snow note that Ice Queen has. AUTOMATIC LOVE (for me). I mean, light citrus and fruit notes warm up this chilly blend, and make it a very crisp, snowy Spring blend for me. So, I differ greatly from all the other reviewers meaning: ALL YOUR CHESHIRE MOON 2013 IS BELONG TO US. (and by us, I mean me).

Rich clove, mandarin with hints of anise and cumin. Really interesting. The cumin reminds me to Indian food, or Mexican food. Actually, it reminds me more of a Mexican candy with the orange and hints of anise as well. Bold, nontraditional.
-
Dewy rose, clove and hints of coconut. This is like the BPTP Red Rose with hints of coconut. Heady, rosey, clovey.
-
Smoky clove and leather. Smoky dry clove, hints of wood and leather. Manly, manly sexy clove. LOVE.
-
Thick honey, amber, and just a hint of patchouli. A dirtier, better version of O.
-
VETIVER AND OAKMOSS DEATHMATCH. And the bad vetiver, smoky bacon and a hint of dankness. BAAAAAAAD.
-
Geranium, rosemary, ginger and dragon's blood resin. Herbal, spicy, DBR.
-
Banana leaf, ylang-ylang, hints of vanilla and jasmine. White floral tropical coolness.
-
Coconut, caramel, rich opium and swirls of tobacco. This smells exactly like the Red Lantern perfume. Rich, heady, exotic.

I got a tester of Song of Selune - and the scent is a heavy, salty lavender. Mildly aquatic. I would say that there is something almost metallic underneath. I haven't tried it out for ritual purposes, and I'm not entirely sure if full moon, waning or waxing would possibly have effects on this. I will come back and edit the topic once I've tested it out.

White Chocolate with Mate, Hazelnut, and Banana Cream
zankoku_zen replied to amanderinorange's topic in Lupercalia
Chocolate and hints of banana. Meh. -
Red musk, amber, and patchouli. Warm, musky, sensual. Meh.
-
Giant blast of lime and mandarin, hints of tea. And then it dries down to a nice, floral shampoo. FML. Screw you skin chemistry. This was the Luper I was looking forward to the most, and your epic skin chemistry fail... is epic.

Trees, maple leaves, and a big dusting of clove. This is like a wood and clove blend, with a tinge on green around the outside. I actually really enjoy this. It's dark, sexy, and woody.
-
Orris, jasmine, and benzoin overlayed over a citrusy chypre. It's soft, slightly sharp, and resinous base with tinges of smokiness. Pleasant, slightly masculine, and more wearable than expected.

Red currant, white honey and hints of sugar cane. This is bright, sugary, and fruity. This actually reminds me to Tomoe Gozen a fair bit. And part of me really likes this. The other part of me wonders if it wouldn't be better with another fruit.
