I´m not sure about the cc question, but if you pay by paypal, you should log on to your paypal account, choose "send money" and the addy is paypal@blackphoenixalchemylab.com. Write your order in the notes field and it´s all good. If you use the CC Now check out, but pay with paypal, the Lab will be charged more with the double fees (at least that´s what I´ve heard), and we don´t want that now, do we?

I got this with my last lab order, and to be perfectly honest, I hadn´t even realized there were any Somnium blends... I guess it´s just one of those things I skip cause I tend to write it all off as mumbo jumbo... Heh, umm, yeah... Also, I have never had trouble falling asleep, or staying that way, quite the contrary. Anyway. I was up really late last night and I dreaded having to work the early shift today. There is no use trying to drag me out of bed before 9 am, yet my early shift starts at 7.30. So I put some Somnus on. It smelled, like so many others have stated, like lavender. I tend to avoid lavendar, as it reminds me of small bags my mum and her friends used to make in the 80s, the ones they would fill with lavender-scented cotton and you were to keep them in the bathroom or something. It also turned soapy on my skin, which is not a good sign. I went out like a light, though. And I slept all through the night. Or, I did wake up once, onl to find that I had woken from a deeeeeep sleep and my body was nearly paralyzed, but I still felt good. In the "morning" (ie just before my alarm clock went off at 6.40, it was still pitch dark outside) I actually woke up and felt rejuvenated. Colour me shocked! I didn´t feel the urge to take a nap after work either, and I´m still going strong (it´s nearly 10.30 pm now). I will try this again, and if it works wonders another time, I think I will have to get a bottle. Downside is I can see myself getting addicted to this. It kinda feels like I´m on uppers or something.

Oh yes. This is very similar to Snake Oil, only not so sweet? At least that´s what I get from it. I like the spices, but it´s not really a "me scent"... I wish I could detect the coconut...

I don´t think you need to worry, turbojenn, I´ve travelled with loads of BPAL before and never had any problems. I´ve also read about this in another thread a while back, and the general opinion was that you can bring it with you

High John smells quite pleasant from the imp, which made me go Yay!, cause I´ve had bad luck with most Voodoo blends and I want to be a witch doctor too However, as it dried down, it smelled exactly like Come To Me, a green, soapy smell. It´s not really yuck!, but still not something I want to wear. However, reading about acquiesce´s job interview, I think I want to keep the imp around and try wearing it when something special comes up. Maybe I can layer it with something else?

When wet it´s all almonds and a tiiiiny drop of cherries. Very sweet. As it dries down, the almonds disappear completely and it morphs into something more heady, almost incensy, still with the cherries in the background. All in all, it´s a nice scent, but I´m not so sure it is for me. And, umm, thanks to my lovely sense of planning, I now have two imps. I guess I´m gonna have to get rid of one, and then keep the other for further testing

Kali is the lighter version of Perversion, I think. The lighter version even I can wear. Yay! I don´t get any chocolate, which isn´t a bad thing, really. It´s floral, but I can´t pick out any particular flower, and yes, it´s adult, as so many has said before me, but adult in a good way. Soft, but determined. I can´t believe this has been in my imp box for so long before I reached for it. Silly, silly me.

Nemesister, as far as I know, the intervals are 1-4 items, 5-9 items and 10 and up, so I´m guessing it doesn´t really matter if you´re buying 5 or 9 items... It´s a good question, though. Just be happy you´re not buying one more bottle, now, that would mean trouble Eta that I somehow managed to not realise there was another page... so yeah, Krista beat me to it, with several hours, apparently

I´m not sure about this one. It´s all anise/licorice and herbal/green to me, but every now and then the anise turns to fennel, and it gets a more medical smell. I hate fennel. It makes me physically ill. I dunno. I just dunno.

A bombardment of edible carnival indulgences. Funnel cake, caramel apple, cotton candy, salt water taffy and sugar tart. OH YAY! I´ve been longing for Midway ever since I stumbled over the unreleased-thread as a wee lass, and it´s finally here! Opening the bottle, I´m floored. This is heaven. It´s everything I wanted it to be and even more. Oh my. When wet, it has this kinda fruity-sugary note that I recognise, but I can´t really say what it is... I want to eat this! Unfortunately it disappears at dry-down, so I need to try this somewhere else, in case my skin makes it go away. However, it´s still sugary yumminess when dry. It´s caramel (not burnt caramel, which tend to be the norm for all the caramelly scents I´ve encountered before) and cotton candy and marshmallows! Marshmallows! Did you get that? I can´t detect any funnel cake (not that I´ve ever had any..) or doughnuts or anything like that, but that´s all good. It´s perfect the way it is. Almost too sweet, yes, but still perfect! And, wow, it lasts long too 9 hours since applying, and now it´s a faint marshmallow scent, like eating one that´s just melted, god, I think I need to throw one last bbq before autumn hits and I will be wearing this one Thumbs up for Macha and the lovely label too!

I thought I´d just chime in cause I´m wearing Persephone today and I can still smell it 9 hours after applying it

Rose. Roseroserose. I have this sneaking suspicion that my skin just amps the rose scent, cause it seems that whatever blend I´ve tried so far, I´ve not been able to tell any other notes... Stupid skin! Cause I don´t really like roses, they smell like my grandmother´s bathroom when I was a kid, and I didn´t even like it back then. However, if you like roses, this is a very crisp one, and it feels like all roses, not stems or anything green, just pure petals and kinda pink, in a way. I wish I would get the juicy pomegranate that other reviewers did, though

Yay! I often feel like the fool, so I had to try this! It´s...minty indeed. I love the mint in Spooky, but this is more like Frost Moon. I´m not sure what pennyroyal smells like, but to me this is like spearmint, but with some sort of herbal note as well? I don´t get any fruits at all. When wet, there´s also something underneath that vaguely reminds me of bad breath :icon_eek:, and as much as I wanted this to go away at dry-down, it´s only replaced by the icky smell of soap. My skin ruined this, I´m so sad

Okay,bear with me, I´m not used to this sort of thing, but I´ll give it a go (after all, I did four yrs of German when I was still in school ) Kunst, the u is pretty much pronounced like the English oo, like in "cool". Kammer is straight forward, almost the same as "camera", just drop the last a and you´re nearly there.. Only thing, if you want to be picky, the a in Kammer is more like the a in say, "after", instead of the first a in "camera" My head is frying now. This is so not for me

Pixie, the turn-around time at the lab right now is about 2 months; at the moment most people are getting their early Carnaval Noir orders, placed in the first couple of days of June

Hehehe, it´s kroner all over the place, we´re one happy little Scandinavian family I don´t know why it´s $10, though, but that´s the response I got when I emailed the lab about something else regarding my first order. *shrugs* It´s no biggie
