I haven't been doing rituals, for awhile. So, I'm concentrating on magickal oils that can also be worn for pleasure. At first, I thought I'd hate this. The first note I caught was pine resin. "Oh, God/dess/es," I though. "Lysol." I HATE pine. However, that note faded quickly. It never went away, but it lowered the volume to add an intriguing, subtle "bite," that I really like! It's like the little flash of witty bitch, in a woman who might otherwise come on as TOO nice. Also adds a very slight touch of "fresh" to contrast the welcoming warmth. I suck WHOLE mountain ranges at naming notes. But, here's what seemed tp come out, as the scent ripened. Clove and just a touch of nutmeg. Not TOO much. Just a little spicey warmth. Not foody. Lavender? Violet? Is there just a touch of vanilla or tonka? Throw is medium. Wear is FABULOUS! I woke with it still on, and BETTER! Can't attest to magickal powers yet. I haven't "field tested" it. But, I think it's gonna be my signature scent, for awhile.

I LOVE every, single note! And, I had read SOOOOO many positive reviews, that I HAD to have this! I was thus extremely dissappointed, when I found I can't smell it! I can smell something extremely subtle and pleasant, but that's it! No throw, either. HOWEVER...... yesterday, when I first wore it...... guys jumped up to open doors, one escorted me to a store that I couldn't find..... I'm a middle-aged babe, and was having a no-make-up day. But, guys couldn't do enough for me! So... the bad news is that I can't enjoy it. The good news is.. the stuff is a man-magnet!

I'm getting carnations and the slightest touch of vanilla. JUST the barest hint, to add a creamy quality.

Tasty lemons! Like, Scwepps Bitter Lemon, or some mouth-watering tart lemon drops. YUM!
-
York Peppermint Patty. Which is JUST fine, witrh me.,..I love chocolate-mint.

Lush, gorgeous, sybaritic. Full of secrets and innuendo. But, very noir, at least, on me..... think, a very chic woman, in veiled black, ghosting up a gangplank onto an ocean liner. She is very mysterious, and very alone-- by choice. Who is she? What is her past? Whom will she meet? What is her REAL destination? NOT a scent for a fresh, young girl! It's ALL woman!

I don't think this will displace Dragon's Milk, as my favorite. That being said....this stuff ROCKS! The floral spiciness of the dragon's blood disappears pretty quickly. But, it leaves in its place musks that are clean, distinctive, and sexy-- like a hot babe in a power suit.

Resiney and a little spicey. Nice; I bought the 5ml.

Had to wash it off! I amped the peppermint to the point where it smelled like peppermint OIL, not even peppermint candy! DAMN! I wanted this one to work!
-
Can't wear it. My skin MAJORLY amps the ginger. EEEEWWWWW!

I'd buy this by the gallon.......if it was sold that way, and if I could afford it.

I 4th O. Or, Snake Oil, Bastet, Brisingamen. For a little power with the simmering sex, Dragon's Milk, or Blood Kiss. The best way to intimidate a rival is too smell like sex on a stick. -

Men say they prefer the scent of vanilla. But, there's a study that revealed that the most hard-ons are generated by the scent of......pumpkin pie! I get my best results with vanillics-- Snake Oil, Dragon's Milk, Blood Kiss. Or amberics-- O, Bastet, Brisingamen. Also hate to be unoriginal, but Snake Oil knocks 'em on their asses! -
No contest...High John the Conqueror.

I'm wondering whether the strong herby note is perhaps mugwort? That's a psychic-making herb.

The scent of warm, glowing jack o’lanterns on a warm autumn night: true Halloween pumpkin, spiced with nutmeg, glowing peach and murky clove. Can't wear it. SOOOOO disappointed! My skin amps the butter to a nauseating degree.
-
THIS is the scent that replaced Snake Oil as my fave! I usually HATE the scent of amber, but this amber-honey-vanilla blend is .... beguiling, intoxicting, haunting! Makes on want to lick somebody!
-
Smells like civet, on me! Undiluted.
-
Cherry almond. Nice, but not me. F ades in a heartbeat.

This is a favorite! I like it even better than Snake Oil. I've also got some interesting male attention, behind this one! ' Starts out sweet-and-tart sitrus.. like sweet oranges, with an edge of maybe apricot. Then, it goes into what friends describe as an incredibly rich vanilla, or a luciously baking yellow cake. Can't swear to the voodoo powers, yet. But, the first time I wore it, was one of the happiest days of the year. ADDED Dec. 16: Smells JUST like pineapple upside-down cake, on me. But.... I like it, and other people like it on me.
-
This is a naught kitty! It smells herby on ,me, but there are some sexy and subtle notes that I can't quite idetify. Do I smell catnip? And, maybe a touch of civet? ADDED Dec. 16: OK, maybe it's just me. But, I think I smell JUST a hint of the minty and herbal...CATNIP! I like it!
-
Smells EXACTLY like Vent vert by Balmain, on me.... and I LOVE that scent. ADDED Dec. 16: YES! Grapes, spoapy something... I CANNOT break it down. I woulda thunk it wasn't my type (I like vanillic orientals) but.......it's addictive! And....it DOES work!
