    Following Instructions

Somehow all I get when smelling this one is that hoppy beer note! In the bottle: Beer! First application: Beer, grains, and hay. Drydown: More beer and hay. Other people smelling this on me say it smells very foody like a baked good, but all I can smell somehow is that yeasty beer note. So strange!

    The Vine

In the bottle: Juicy pear and honey Initial application: This smells like a hot, syrupy, spiced pear pie filling to me! The smell is very sweet and a bit tart as well. Unfortunately, this is a little simple on me. I wish I were getting more of the creamy vanilla note that others have mentioned smelling! Dry down: Within a couple hours, this disappears leaving just a hint of sweet pear and honey behind, the way most fruit based scents do on me. All in all, a pretty enough scent but not very me.

    The Buggre Alle This Bible

This is my first of the Good Omens scents, so I can't comment on how it compares to Aziraphale, but I thought I'd give reviewing it a go! In bottle: This smells almost like gin to me, along with tobacco. It has a very boozy scent, but not in a sweet way at all. Wet: The leather and tobacco are both very prominent, but the scent likes to cling to the skin. It definitely evokes the image of an old leather armchair in someone's study, with years of tobacco smoke clinging to it. It has some of the parchment smell to it too, but never quite ventures into the pencil shavings note that some wood smells can have. Dry: As it dries, the tobacco mellows and a sort of skin musk smell comes curling out. It stays close to the skin and is unexpected sensual, like the smell of a man right at the collarbone. It's the kind of scent that makes me want to draw closer to inhale it deeply, since it's so subtle and yet so sexy. Overall, I think this blend manages to capture all the things I was hoping for; parchment, the smell of a library filled with old books, and a hint of sweet tobacco. I think this would be a fantastic scent to wear either by itself, or blended with any number of other scents!
  4. Hello all! This thread seems like the proper place to ask my question. I generally don't like florals, and I absolutely despise rose scented things. But I've wanted to try and find some florals that might work on me, because I've recently discovered that some of my favorite scents have unexpected florals in them. I'm very fond of Morocco, as well as Mouse's Long and Sad Tale. I can say for sure that I don't like rose, violet, most blossoms, and heady jasmines. Can any of you rec me any bpal scents with unique florals? I particularly lean towards musk and amber scents, but can't do patchouli.
