Euterpe starts out a little sharp. It is kind of perfumey, like french designer perfume. I think I'm getting mostly the musk and posibly the iris and carnation. I'm not getting any honeysuckle or lemon from this. It is a nice, white, feminine floral, but not probably something I'd wear.

ROSE! At first it's a creamy rose. Very soft. Then my skin really amps it up and I get a little overpowered with rose. Something in my skin is giving it a tiny bit of a sour undertone. It's too much for me. oh well

Mmm this is very fresh roses. There is something almost fruity underneath. Crispy fruity, like maybe apple. As it dries it gets more woody. Not too heavy though, it's cut branches. I like it, but it isn't something I'll likely get much wear out of.

I can't believe I hadn't tried this until now!!! I think I was hesitant because of the vanilla, which tends to go plastic on me. In the vial it is a gorgeous boozy vanilla with deeper spice notes. At first I got dusty spices. Then I got a hint of vanilla wintermint. Then back to dusty spice. The vanilla is trying to come out, but it is getting warped into fresh playdoh (with spices.) I am by myself, so I have no one to confirm this. I just wish vanilla scents wouldn't change on me because this is so nice in the vial.

In the vial this one reminds me very strongly of something from when I was a kid. Which must mean there is violet in it. For some reason violet reminds me of something from childhood that I can't place. On my skin though it changes into mostly a soft floral without the violet. It's mostly dusty rose. I wish it stayed like it smells in the imp. My skin just always goes for the rose.

This is sort of a non-floral floral to me. It has a general floral tone but with something sharper, a little wet and foresty. Very nice overall. BF review- "I like it."

Usually the lunar oils work out on me. Dragon moon on me is just ok. I think that dragon's blood amps a lot on my skin and kind of takes over the rest of the blend. At first it just smells like sweet dragon's blood. After a while it smells very much like incense. It's a specific incense that I can't place right now. Kind of woody. Not bad, but also not as good as I hoped.

I am shocked at how much I like this. I didn't expect to at all. It is a very light, faded, green rose scent. The rose is amping a bit with my chemistry. Though I wish it stayed more like it was when I first put it on, I think it's a keeper.

At first it had a woody birch kind of scent to it. It is masculine and fresh, yet mossy. It is a bit sharp at first, but mellows down. It is cool green. I'll have to try this on the boy.

At first this was light, white flowers. Then the gardenia comes out really strong and sweet. If you like gardenia, you will probably like this a lot. After it's completely dry, it changes on my skin and gets a bit stale smelling. Too bad.

It starts out smelling like cherry. Then it goes to deep, fruity, red wine. Then a smoky note comes out. I never got any vanilla here, but that's a good thing as it usually goes plastic on me. I even got the oaken notes. There is also a hint of pipe tobacco in here. Overall I really like it.

Yum. Juicy and fruity. It goes mostly melon on me. I really liked it and bought a bottle.

I really liked this one and ended up buying a bottle. It has the lunar notes that I've smelled in some of the other moons. It is a cold, forresty smell. It didn't really smell especially aquatic to me. My friends liked this one on me too. It ends up going very light.

I was getting a lot of autumn spices in this. And something that I really can't place. My boyfriend and my roommate's girlfriend both thought it smelled like a head shop. There is definitely the animal musk notes coming out. It is just too heavy and not quite right for me. Oh well.
-
When wet it's perfumey. As it dries it goes to a sophisticated floral. It smells like a freshly cut bouquet of flowers. It fades a bit on me and goes a bit powdery. My roommate really likes it, which is surprising since he doesn't like florals. He said he didn't know what it smelled like, but he liked it.

I was getting a strange swirl of a bunch of notes that seemed to be arguing and fighting over who could be the loudest. Then they cooled off. Oh mint. Mint wins the argument. Darn, I was hoping grapefruit would win or a tie between grapefruit and rosemary. Mint is doing this just to spite me because it knows how I feel about it. oh well Stupid evil mint. ADDED April 9: Nothing really jumps out at me in this one. It's light. It starts out kind of floral with a bit of minty foodness. Then the mint gets much stronger on my skin. Mint and I have a bad history together. I don't think this is going to work out.

This is a creamy, sweet lily. I don't find it especially dark though. In fact, it seems cheerier, like yellow or pink. Anyway, if you like sweet lilies, you will probably like this.

oooooooh I wish I could keep this. mmmmmmmmm It is light, citrusy, sweet, melony, and floral. I really like this and can't wait for it to come out. Yum!

To me this smells like very very light, buttery, florals. It starts out more perfumey, but goes nice and soft and well, buttery. Very nice.

Mmm This is like the meadow in the forest clearing. It is soft and outdoorsy. It's like wearing a cashmere sweater and hiking boots on a walk through the woods.

Lately I've been digging the aquatics. Olokun is aquatic without being masculine like many of the others. Often aquatics feel very heavy to me, but this doesn't do that. It is also airy. When it's wet there is a hint of sweetness to it. When dry it takes on a bit of a soap note. ETA: After sniffing the imp again, I just had to say that I'd totally buy a bottle if it stayed just like it smells in the imp instead of changing on my skin.

Usually scents go really sweet on me, but this one doesn't really. Actually this one fades pretty fast on my skin. It starts out as being kind of sour cherry. But it really blends into my own skin smell and makes it hard to pick out notes. There is a tiny, little bit of something fruity and bitter though.

I can't help thinking of a sculpture that my great-grandmother made titled ozymandias when I think of this oil. And then, when I smell it, I can't help thinking that it might be a perfume that she might have worn. It smells so much like a perfume from years ago. (Though I don't know specifically which one.) Some very old, fancy, designer perfume.

I get dry, hot woods from this. Like sitting in a sauna made of sandalwood with some already dry herbs drying out in there with you. After a while it goes from hot to warm and a little sweeter.

Wow, yes, rose. I really do like rose although I don't wear rose notes all that much. This rose has something cool about it. Like eviltemptressdq said, it isn't as heavy as the peacock queen, but it is that type of a rose scent, if that makes any sense. Hmm. I really should start wearing more rose. ETA: It goes much sweeter later on.
