... This oil blend is a serene, soothing Indian blend, created to bring calm and joy to the heart and peace to the spirit. Sandalwood, jasmine, rose, patchouli, cedarwood and lemongrass. I was at black broom sniffing everything in sight, when i came to namaste. I smelled it and it immediately reminded me of something that i couldn't place. hmmm oh well, i moved on to sniffing other. I kept coming back to namaste. I had to figure it out. I could pick out the patchouli and lemongrass the most. I just kept getting drawn back to it and it made me feel really happy. I put some on and it hit me! This smells so similar to the very first soap i ever made. I used a lot of the same oils in that batch. mmmm To this day that soap is still my favorite. Obviously, I had to buy a bottle of this.

Aunt Caroline's Money Draw
brownbear replied to lavinia's topic in Prosperity, Success, and Good Fortune
In the bottle it smells orangey. Orangey and spicy with something green underneath. As it dried on my skin the orange went away and was replaced by more green. hmmm it almost smells like vegetables. kale? *shrug* I swear I'm not on crack. Can't say about any money changes. I really only had it on for a few hours. (and I would've felt weird putting it on anything other than my skin in the store ) -
In the vial this smells very hardcore floral. A sweet, fruity, pungent floral. On my skin I could swear that I can smell violet. It's nice, but it went to generic floral and then disappeared completely. edited for creative spelling

In the vial it just smelled boozy. On my skin it developed into butter and sugar sweetness. Then it mellowed into a spice, butter, rum, chestnut scent. It reminds me a lot of these chestnut candles that I bought last christmas. It smells like a fall holiday scent. I probably won't be wearing it again until we get well into fall. Overall it's mmm warm, tasty and foody.

Ok, this isn't my official review just yet. I just wanted to say that right after I got this in the mail, my very good friend, Sara, came over. I was showing off my new perfumes that were sent to me. She went through them, sniffing each, and then she came to . . . Dragon's Tears. She exclaimed, "Oh my god!" and immediately started slathering herself with it. The rest of her visit she kept smelling her wrists. I cannot yet comment on any notes or anything, but Sara, who really doesn't like perfumes all that much, and thinks it's weird that I like dragon's blood, loooooooooooooooves this one. eh, go figure.

mmm Loralei is just gorgeous. In the vial it smelled almost like rubbing alcohol. On my skin however it went lovely and floral. Such a nice blend. I just wish it lasted longer.

In the vial it smelled very floral and sweet. I think the honeysuckle was really coming forward. On my skin I didn't get any of the pear and I wasn't really getting much musk either. It turned into a very heavy heavy floral on me. It was just a little bit too much for me. Juliet was very pretty and feminine, but I'm sending it to someone who will hopefully appreciate it more than I can.

Thanks helarctos. This one starts out as a deep, dark floral to me. The fruit was waaay off somewhere in the background. After about thirty minutes it was the other way around. yum The plum really came forward, very ripe, and it was followed by the florals.

In the vial i'm getting sweetness and a bit of honeysuckle. mmm sweetness On my skin, the sweetness got turned way up. hmmm I don't know what happened and which not caused it, but it decided to go weird. My skin has turned it into some kind of almost gasoline smell. I can't figure it out. I might have to try this one again some other time.

mmmm fruitness I know that isn't a real word, but I'm using it. I personally really like the scent of neroli. It gets a little pushed into the background by the fruits, but I like fruitness. I ended up with two of these imps. I'm definitely keeping one and we'll see about the other.

OOOOO This is a good one for me! yay! It is a strong, almost heavy floral. It is a floral with balls. (Please excuse me, I live with 3 guys) mmmmmmm It kind of reminds me of something from childhood, but I can't place my finger on it. And it might be the name influencing me, but I could swear that with the rose I can smell violet. *shrug* It's definately a keeper for me.

To me this one smelled like cool fruit with a greenish note. It is a very pretty, feminine fruit scent. I couldn't really pick out the individual notes. It is fresh and clean.
-
Both in the vial and on my skin this one smelled very fresh and clean. It's reminding me of clean laundry. As it dried, more of the outdoorsy notes came through. Uh oh, went to powder on my skin. Very fresh, clean powder though. It smells good, too bad I like to smell dirty. edited for typo

In the vial it smelled kind of like those licorice spice drops. A little candyish, but kind of faint. On my skin it disappeared in a couple minutes. I can't even say how it smelled on my skin. I think I'll have to swap it.

I'm not going to bother with the notes I smelled. Actually they blended very nicely. The first time I smelled it in the vial I couldn't really smell anything. I put some on and I still couldn't really smell it. A bit later I went to bed. In the morning I could actually smell it and it smelled faint, but really good. Another winning warm skin kind of smell. I tried it again today. This time I could smell it a little better in the vial. My nose must've been off the first time. But it was still faint. I put it on. Smelled good, but faint. Then after about half an hour it really picked up. Maybe on me this one just needs a little time to warm up. MMMM I like it even more now.

In the vial and on my skin it smelled minty, but not in a harsh, evil way like most mints do on me. It was a soft mint. Mints are still not my favorite though. After literally five minutes it was completely gone. No trace at all.
-
This one didn't go so well for me. In the vial I smell some citrus notes, and forgive me, the slightest bit of... off bug spray. On my skin all I could smell was off bug spray. Obviously, I'm not keeping this one.
-
Both in the vial and on my skin it smelled about the same. It had a smokiness to it that I didn't really associate with pipes or cigars, just smoke. It's a good warm scent. It has something in it that also smells like body/skin but stronger, probably the ambergris? There was a weird note in there as well that i still can't place. I'll have to try it again. But overall, I'm pleased. I'm keepin it.

In the vial it smelled like mint with a little lemon/lime citrus to it. I didn't smell any coconut at all. However after it dried it smelled exactly like coconut. I will buy this for a coconut fiend friend of mine. she will want to drink it down!

I agree with the cough drop cherry verdict. Out of the vial that's all I could smell. On my skin it got nicer. It turned into fakey candy cherry with a smoky incense type scent. The cherries went a little too dark and heavy for what I like. My friend said that she thought I smelled like "an old lady". Oh well.

Mmm I like this one. a little spicy, warm. Everyone keeps saying that it's like snake oil minus the vanilla (i haven't smelled snake oil yet), but somehow i keep smelling vanilla in this. yup, vanilla, even after it's been on for an hour. I like the spiciness mixed in. I'm keeping this one!

mmmm This one smelled fresh to me. Lots of roses and something green, but not herbal, a wet green. Maybe cactus, or lilly or something like that. Sorry I can't quite pick it out. On my skin it didn't really change much, just stayed really nicely. I like this one a lot!

Ooh i love this one. In the vial: It smelled kind of dry and dusty, and woody too. Maybe sandalwood. On my skin: mmmmmmmmmmmm I love it. The dry scent went away and was actually replaced by something wet and almost barely floral, like plants in the desert. I love the musk and amber. It smells warm and cozy. The next time i order, i'll be getting a bottle.

I could just cry. I wanted to try this one so bad and was really looking forward to it. Since i missed it from bpal, i won a bottle in an ebay auction. In the bottle it is just overwhelmingly delicious. I wanted to drink it. I love the chocolate, the rum, the slight trace of mint, all of it. I put it on. Wet it still smelled good enough to eat. After it dried, however, i was miserable. The mint completely took over. I couldn't smell anything else. My skin just sucked up all the yumminess and i was left with a harsh, evil, green mint. I have to go cry now.
