IN BOTTLE: As soon as I open the bottle I smell the leather, tobacco and wood. I also pick up the musk, sandalwood and cocunut. This blend smells very boozey to me with hints of salt water. Wet: The strong notes are the leather, tobacco and wood. It still smells of salt water. The date stars to come into play along with the other notes, some of which are undistinguishable. DRYDOWN: This is a very woody sent, highlighted by the cocunut pal and date. I do pick up a slight hint of the lime, but I have to search for it. It becames very well blended with a real nice mid throw. OVERALL: This turns into a gorgous warm sent, my favorite for summer wear. I really feel that I am on a old ship with a bunch of dirty drunk pirates in the middle of the sea, The smell of salt water in the air and the ocean mist spraying your face, as the warm sun shines down and glistens on the water. May need to hunt down another bottle for back up or decants to fill mine bottle once it gets low. Five stars for this one.

IN BOTTLE: It smells aquatic grapefruit and vanilla. I am also picking up something acidic, it is probably coming from the grapefruit. WET: It is pretty much the same, just more well rounded. The vanilla seems to be softening the sent. However, this is mainly a evil grapefruit lurking in the dark waters. DRYDOWN: The grapefruit takes a turn for the lighter side. Will it is still a very promenent sent, I just thought it would be a bit darker and heavier. I think I would like to have had some dark musk or incence in here. It seems a little to light to be the home of the dreaded Cthulhu. OVERALL: Will this sent is nice, it just is not what I would have expected. This is a nice combination of aquatic and citrus, good for late spring/early summer. ETA: Several hours later, R'lyeh has turned very soft and powdery on me, with a subtle hint of the aquatic and grapefruit notes. It is very lovely at this stage, but still wish it was more dark and bruding.

FIRST SNIFF: The fig is the most dominant note. Right behind it is something green and leafy, evergreen perhaps, not sure. WET: This is very warm and spicy on on the skin. At this stage the root note comes into play, and it reminds me of the way fresh ginger root smells. There is also something reminiscent of nutmeg. DRYDOWN: It has become very woody and spicy. The fig smells nice mingeling with the other notes. I am also picking up a slightly musky note. It is like taking a walk through a beautiful forest with lots of trees and the wind blowing through, rusteling the leaves. There is the sent of the woods and lush green leaves in the air. You find a small grouping of fruit trees in the center, fig trees, and their fruit is ripe and juicey, yours for the taking. OVERALL: This is very nice and I really like the fig and spice in this. I may get a bottle of it.

IN IMP: It does smell of a salty aquatic and dragons blood. Bittersweet is defenantly the right word to discribe it. WET: It gets real salty, but not like table salt, like sea salt. And at the same time it stays sweet. Some how it smells wierd to me, but I am not sure why. DRYDOWN: Now it has become a bit more sweet and wetery, but I still don't like how the dragon's blood is smelling on my skin. OVERALL: I don't think dragon's blood is a sent that my skin likes, it just smells to wierd on me, plus it gives me a slight headache. Sigh, and I was hoping to like this one.

IN BOTTLE: I smell the pomigranite, currnets , sugared pears and apples. It smells very fruity and sweet. WET: The pomigranite and currents are very noticable, and almost drowned out the pear and apple. However, the suger stands out quite a bit. DRY DOWN: They blend together quite evenly, but the apple seems to be the most noticable besides the sugar. OVER ALL: This sent is very sweet and sugery, like liquid diabetes. It is nice though, and if you liked Pink Phoenix, then you would probably like this Phoenix as well.

IN IMP: It almost smells of pure red apples, just is just only a hint of the opium. I can't pick up the oleander or hemlock at all. WET: It smells almost the same as it did in the imp, but the oleander and hemlock make their entrance. It still is mainly apple though. DRY DOWN: The same, this sent doesn't do much morphing. OVER ALL: It is nice and I would defiantly recommend it to people who love apple sents.

IN IMP: Honeyed liliesis. WET: This is vey warm and goldon, like lilies in the sunshine. I also smell something similar to the pollon of flowers. This is very sweet from the honey, which at this point is the most prominent note. DRY DOWN: It is like sticking your nose in the center of a giant orange lily. The honey note reseeds to the back and the sent of lilies takes the stage. OVER ALL: This is a lovely sprintime sent, but it is not complex enough for me. I would like a couple more notes to copliment the honey and lilies, perhaps I would like the Imperious Tiger Lily more.

IN THE BOTTLE: This is very floraly and a bit strong, not at all light like Alice. I am picking up what seems to be rose and carnation. The florals are mingaling with the salty tears and it smells very soapy, mhh. WET: It is like sniffing a wet bar of soap. A floral, salty bar of soap. There is also something sweet, perhaps honey or maybe it is just the florals, not sure. DRY DOWN: Even though it is strong at first, it does fade quite a bit, leaving a light floral soap smell. OVER ALL: I thought I was really going to like this sent, because I adore aquatics, but The Pool of Tears just did not do it for me. It was way to soapy and gave me a bit of a headache.

I think the amber works real well for the GC oils. However, I would like to see the LE sents in different color bottles. And it would be neat if they were designated certain colors; like lunacies in a smokey gray bottle, Lupercalias in red, Yules in cobalt blue, and so on. That way it would make the LE stand out a little more form the GC, make them just that much more special. I don't know, just a thought.

This is not everything I want to try, so if you have something you think might interest me, by all means make an offer, but please don't be offended if I decline. Many of these I just want imps/decants of to try, but I would love to get full or partial bottles of the ones with stars next to them. ::LUNACY:: BLACK BUTTERFLY MOON BLOOD MOON 2011 FLEDGLING RAPTOR MOON★ SINGING MOON STRAWBERRY MOON ::LUPERCALIA:: DANCING KOI DARK CHOCOLATE AND CHERRY★ LOVERS IN A CARP STREAMER LOVERS IN A RICE FIELD WHITE CHOCOLATE MARTINI WHITE CHOCOLATE, STRAWBERRY, AND WHITE PEPPER TRUFFLE ::HALLOWEENIE:: DIA DE LOS ÑATITAS GHOULISH★ HALLOWEEN: LAS VEGAS★ REGINA EREBI THE WILD SWANS AT COOLE ::YULE:: DANCE OF THE MIRLITONS★ HARLEQUIN AND COLUMBINE★ KLARA THE NUTCRACKER THE SOLDIER★ ::ANNIVERSARY:: COPPER PHOENIX★ THE PHOENIX AT DAWN THE PHOENIX AT MIDDAY THE PHOENIX AT MIDNIGHT ::OTHER LIMITEDS:: CABARET.GOTH CHAMPAGNE AND PARTY HATS★ CHAMPAGNE, CHOCOLATE, AND CHEAP SEX EAT ME V6★ EIN KUSS VON KRAMPUS GOTHABILLY★ LOLI.GOTH LULU V7★ MANGO LYCHEE CHAMPAGNE SANGRIA CHAMPAGNE★ SENELION★ SNOW, GLASS, APPLES TATTERED LACE★ TIKI PRINCESS VAMP.GOTH ::GENERAL CATALOG:: BON VIVANT BORDELLO COCKAIGNE MOUSE'S LONG AND SAD TALE PERVERSION SHATTERED SWANK THE RED QUEEN VELVET ::Unimpable:: BANANA PEEL IN A GRAVEYARD COUNTESS WILLIE★ FAIRY WINE JOSIE LADY UNA MME.
