I would so be all over a pure Banana Cream Pie scent! A creamy banana, sugary meringue fluff, and a rich buttery graham cracker crust.

My etsy wish list! Are you into mix CDs? I don't really listen to music, weird I know. What are your favorite colors? I like rosy pinks, light blues, navy, chocolate brown, and Bordeaux/wine. What is your favorite animal? I'm like Snow White, I like woodland creatures (like owls, deer, and bunnies), and I also like cats. What is your favorite tree/flower/herb? Maple trees, juniper, hyacinth, foxglove, sweet peas, rosemary. What types of books do you like to read? Fairy tales and some fantasy type stories, and I have been itching to read Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, as well as Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials. Do you have any children or pets? I only have furry little ones; one small black female cat and one chocolate female miniature dachshund. They are adorable little trouble makers and they are the best of friends (like the Fox and the Hound), I even found them cuddled together for a nap the other day. Dark, milk, or white chocolate? Dark, as that tends to be dairy free. I have however, seen dairy-free white chocolate (from Israel I think) on a vegan foods website that I am so dying to get so I can make peppermint bark this year. Are there any past or present Yules you are currently interested in? I would be ticked pink if I could get my hands on a few of the Nutcrackers that I didn't pickup last year. I would so love to have Harlequin & Columbia, Dance of the Mirlitons, and The Soldier. Would you be interested in soap? If so, do you have a preference? Possibly. I typical buy Villainess soaps, as they smell amazing and are the least drying on my skin out of everything I have tried, but atlas it is still drying. I am really interested in trying CocoaPink's Whipped Topping Cream Soap though. And if it is as good and moisturizing as everyone says, I will be a lover of soap. Do you watch tv? If yes what kinds of shows/programs do you like? All the time, with my husband after he gets home from work. We like to watch Psych, Dexter, Avatar: The Last Air Bender, Mushi-Shi, as well as the occasional scientific and historical documentaries. Astrological sign (purely for convenience)? I'm a double Capricorn. Favorite genre(s) of music? Classical. Do you wear or like makeup? If yes, colors/brands/favorite items? Yes, I like pinks and earth tones. I really like 100% Pure as I can get make-up there that is all natural, plant based, and vegan (though not all of their products are vegan). Everyday Minerals is not too bad either. I like shimmery eyeshadow, moisturizing lip color/balm, velvety primer or foundation. Do you like any other scenties/brands? I really like some of the products from Lush and Villianess, but I only wear perfumes from Black Phoenix. Anything you're especially wanting to try from the Villainess update? Nothing from their update really interests me, but I could really go for Scintillating Smooch and Whipped as I am not starting to crave cool minty things since the weather here is getting colder. What 'cuddly' item do folks want? A cute stuffie? A scarf? A hat with ears? I could really use a nice knitted hat and scarf set, perhaps in ivory. Also I have been wanting some berets. And mittens are always a good thing to have. How do you feel about Paintbox soap? I have never tried them before, though their Christmas soaps sound real nice. However, most soaps really dry out my skin, but they might make for good hand soap. Do you like to burn candles and tarts. Anything from Two Timing Tart that interests you? I love candle and I love using my tart burner, as long as they are are scented with essential oils rather than artificial fragrance. I have been really wanting to try TTT's winter edition tarts, as well as Insomniac and Satin Sheets. If you were to receive socks, what kind would you like? Do you have a preference about style, length, color, etc? I could always use more socks. I like knee high and over the knee, but calf length is good too. I prefer solid color socks in neutrals, browns, jewel tones, grays and black. And I love embossed or lace like patters. What are you really interested in reading? Would you like a hardcover, softcover or electronic copy? I really would like some new vegan cookbooks like Vegan Brunch and Vegan with a Vengeance, both by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. Also would like to read the books I mentioned in the question about favorite genre. Hardcover or softcover are fine, but no electronic copies please. Are you planning on going anywhere during the round? No. Would you be interested in recipes? If so, do you have a preference? This was kinda of answer in the reading question, I want some more vegan recipients to add to my collection. Do you have a favorite cuddly character or plush? Not really, I'm not too interested in plushies. But I do like teddy bear items, like this adorable bear hat. I would love something like this. Are you interested in anything from the BPAL Anniversary update? I would really like to try The Phoenix at Dawn and The Phoenix at Midday, maybe even The Phoenix at Midnight. Would you be interested in any artsy or baking related supplies? Baking supplies would be awesome. I love to bake, and cook. How do you like socks? Is there anything specific over at sockdreams.com that you like perhaps? I love Sock Dreams. Here are a few of my favorites: http://www.sockdreams.com/products/socks/anklets/este-luxe-crew-socks - In Caviar or Grey. http://www.sockdreams.com/products/socks/anklets/jane-cashmere-anklet - In Denim. http://www.sockdreams.com/products/socks/anklets/cotton-lace-anklets - In Brown or Ivory. http://www.sockdreams.com/products/socks/knee-highs/o-lovelies - Small in Pebble or Pearl. http://www.sockdreams.com/products/socks/tights/floral-flocked-tights - In Blue/Grey. How do you feel about spiced nuts (cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, etc)? Do you have a nut preference (Almond, cashew)? Spiced nuts would be nice. I love peanuts, almonds, and walnuts the most, but all are welcomed in my house. Bunny, what is something that would make you squee with joy if you received it in your package? Any of the jewelry or other fashion accessories from my Etsy favorites. But regardless, just the fact that my fox specialized a Christmas package just for me is enough for squee action.

I absolutely love Lemon-Scented Sticky Bat, it smells just like sugary lemon drops. If you want that sweet lemon scent, then you should definitely give this one a try.

I received my Celeste bath salts a few days ago and immediately had to take a bath with them. OMG does this smell amazing. The scent from the salts was so powerful, that 48+ hours after my bath, the bathroom still smelt strongly of Celeste. I am in a pure state of bliss every time I walk in there. The salts smell very much like the perfume oil, a rich and creamy vanilla with the warm spice of saffron. This does not feel foody at all. In the bag, it is more about the honey and vanilla. But once in the water, the saffron steps forward and begins to sing, and meld harmoniously with the vanilla. After the bath, my skin is left with a very soft vanilla and a light saffron that appears to be honeyed. As for the salts themselves, they are very moisturizing, I don't need any lotion after my bath. It is not at all heavy, and absorbs well into the skin and doesn't leave me feeling really greasy. And like others have mentioned, most of the the salt dissolves quickly in the warm water, save for the larger grains. All in all, I am completely in love with these salts, and I am so glad I bought them.

I don't know what it is, but in the imp and fresh on my skin, this smells like honeyed celery! There is a bit of nuttiness to this once it begins to dry, and after a bit it becomes a rich and lightly honeyed hazelnut that is very nice. I think I may need to let this set a bit and test again.

This is really strong citrus over a base of amber and marigold. One my skin the sunflower and myrrh join the mix. This is very bright and golden. I get a faint hint of the autumn leaves peeking out, they add a bit of dryness to the bend, giving it the feel of late summer/early fall. This is quite lovely and truly evokes the dying summer. In the dry-down, the geranium comes out, and along with the amber, this morphs into a soft and creamy floral.

When I open this, there is an intial blast of blue musk and mint, that is cold and quite lovely. The coldness I get from this isn't quite frosty, but more like cold water. Further into the inhale, honeysucle and thyme emerge, bringing a slightly warm glow to the cool muskiness. As this makes contact with my skin, the flowers begin rapid blooming, and it becomes a rather heavy floral. The flowers almost drown out everything else, there is only a faint hint of the musk and mint at this point. This goes really soapy on me. There is also a bit of creaminess developing at this and it reminds me of very fancy hotel soaps. LNM dries down to be a predominantly night-blooming flowers, all powdery and soapy.

I never even know you can get amber Oblivion, how strange. The imp I have is a real dark olive green. Aging or a slight formula change could account for that, but if o0SnowDrop0o just got a fresh imp from the lap that was olive green, then both theories are ruled out I guess. What a mystery! Oh, and just for relevance sake, how are the packages coming along Puddin?

In the bottle and on my skin this smells like powdery baby wipes. This it is quite clean and sweet smelling. While this is nice, I am not so sure I want a perfume that smells like that.

On first sniff, I get a combination of amber, hay, sandalwood and possibly the lavender. All the notes dissipate as soon as it touches my skin, and it becomes this bright and juicy fresh fragrance. I can not detect any of the listed notes, but once fully dried I get the smokey honey musk, amber and hay. It is an alright scent, but doesn't really thrill me.

I wore The Waltz of the Snowflakes, as fit the theme and mood of my wedding. However, both hubby and I consider Winter Solstice Lunar Eclipse to be our wedding scent, as that is the day we got married.

Allergy Questions, Allergies and other reactions to oils
cupcakegernade replied to friendthegirl's topic in BPAL FAQs
You should definitively go see a dermatologist. This way you can get an exact answer and be able to avoid the right culprit. In regards to eczema, which I have, it is a possibility. Sometimes the bumps resemble tiny pimples and other times like scaly patches. The pimpley looking ones can release a white substance, but it isn't liquidy like pus. The bumps usually form in clusters, but it is not uncommon to have lone bumps here and there. However if the bumps that you are getting are not dry and itchy, then it is probably something else. -
This is deep and earthy. Initially all I get from this is oakmoss and patchouli, but it doesn't take too long for heliotrope to make an entrance. I like this, but it is a bit sharp. Once it dries, the copal appears and the scent becomes a lot softer. This is quite nice now. Also, at this point I could swear I smell tonka in this; I guess my nose is a little confused. However, in the end this one goes sharp again and kind of dirty. Not really my thing.

Red musk, tobacco, red sandalwood, dried pomegranate, patchouli, dusty frankincense, and raspberry clotted over blackened sugar-spun vanilla cream cotton. Now this this has sat over night to settle, I am doing a full slathering of this one. Oh my, is this gorgeous. As soon as I open up the bottle, the most lovely smell of raspberry, patchouli and creamy vanilla come sauntering out. This is very romantic. As I apply the lace to my skin, the sandalwood, frank and tobacco become the stars of this scent, making it deep and sexy. The vanilla is still there, although somewhat concealed by the headier notes, it continues to add a nice and creamy backdrop. I can't quite pick out the pom and the raspberry has retreated, which is a bit of a bummer, but there is a slight tartness here as a result of the dried fruit. And like others have mentioned, the red musk is quite soft right now, but given time to mature, the one is going to knock em dead. This is so amazing, I think I am in love. Definitely top five!
