  1. Zomg! Love! :wub2:

In the bottle: Strong scent of musk backed by the berries

    Wet on Skin: Hello, Amber.

Dry Down: The amber fades back into the background and the musk and berries come out more again. I never really smelled anything floral in this. Everything in this just combines together so nicely that it is hard to pick out specific notes.

Verdict: Berries sometimes turn sour on my skin but for some reason they worked fine in this blend. This makes me really happy because I love the scent of berries. The feeling of this scent is very mature and feminine. I can't picture myself wearing this as an everyday scent but I think it will be perfect as a date perfume. It did have good throw and lasted all day without me ever needing to reapply it.

  2. In the botte: Smells like toothpaste and flowers

Wet: Same. Ugh. I hate mint.

I was pretty disapointed at this point. I had been super looking

    forward to this one.

Dry: The mint finally steps back a bit. This nice soft vanilla comes

out. I can finally start to smell the flowers and ferns.

Overall: The intial toothpaste phase is hideous. After that it's gorgous.

I'll have to do some thinking to see if its worth going through the toothpaste phase.

  3. I really liked this scent.

In the bottle: smells generically "perfumey"

Wet: Oranges and generic perfume. Still not exciting.

Dry: This is when things get exciting. The other notes come out to play. This perfume does exactly what it says it does. To the casual observer it just smells like a "normal" perfume. On closer examination, under those top notes is a wine scent. A really good sniff reveals a blood note under it all. Amazing! :wub2: It does just what the both the scent description and book description say. I'm sad that this scent isn't getting the love. It is one of my favorites.
