I've seen the recs for characters from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2, but what about Inquisition? Anyone played who'd like to take a stab at what each companion (bonus points for the Inquisitor and advisors!) might smell like??

Kind of a random topic, but which scents do you think best represent each hair color? A lot of it depends on how you perceive blondes, brunettes, redheads and black-haired beauties I suppose! As a redhead, I'm particularly interested in those recs but I'm sure everyone else would like to hear your scent recs for their hair colors as well! My choices? For blondes, something like Hermia for that spunky, outgoing side, and maybe Dana O'Shee or Eat Me for the soft, sweet, innocent impression some blondes give off. For more sex-kitten, bombshell blondes recs, I think something like Hollywood Babylon or Bordello, a mixture of fruit, sweet notes and musk would be perfect. You could go beachy with Black Pearl as well. I definitely see sweet notes like honey (O?), fruit, coconut, vanilla and pink pepper. For brunettes, I think I'd go with something slinky and sensual like Snake Oil or Perversion, or something bold and brass like Hellcat or Manhattan, with loud boozey notes. Manhattan works for the sleek, sophisticated type of brunette as well. I think of leather, booze, vanilla (again), musks, citrus and smoke. For black hair, I see exotic, unique notes like tropical flowers, warm spices and incense. Xiuhtecutli, Faiza, Inez...all those warm, sweet, special blends. I could also see dark, drop-dead sexy scents for black-haired ladies and gents, something heady and ominous like Snake Oil, Kubla Khan, or Morocco. As for redheads..I'm not sure! I can't really choose for my own hair color. Obviously not every member of a certain hair color will like the same scents, but I think it'll be cool to find out what "embodies" your hair color!

What took me so long to try this?!?! This is a panty dropping scent. Holy shit. I get a perfect blend of lilac, vanilla, red musk, and that sexy, dirty patchouli. It's sweet but musky, earty but refined. Just drop dead, devastatingly gorgeous. I need another 10 bottles. Unf.

Oh yes. YES. I ALWAYS play a rogue (or the closest variation to it) in table top games, video games...I adore them in films and novels, and I write about one frequently. I has to have this for that reason. I get lots of sweetened leather, and ROSIN! That note makes me so nostalgic...it reminds me of playing my violin as a child. Just wonderful. The rosin mixes with that sweet leather to create a stealthy skin scent that I find really subtle and sexy. So perfect for a rogue!

This is mostly yummy patchouli, with just a touch of dry coconut. The benzoin doesn't seem too apparent at this point. There's a slight rubbery note which I'm not fond of, but it seems to burn off pretty quickly. It's an outdoorsy, non-traditional summer scent. Quite lovely!

Oh man. This is sexy. Slightly spicy, slightly sweetened red musk. So much red musk! I'm not usually a fan of spicy scents, but this manages to walk the line between musky, sweet and spicy, and it WORKS. I don't get black spices or ginger, per se, more of a non-descript smokiness. It is completely evocative of the character it's based on. It smells like a gorgeous, untouchable woman, perspiring lightly, with the scent of lingering smoke on her skin. Just beautiful! Makes me feel like a badass, love it!

Tricho is actually coconut and vetiver (Death Adder is a dead ringer for it!!), while R&B is more of a juicy orange and avocado! Kuang Shi reminded me of it when I tried it, actually. ...Can you tell that I work for Lush? Haha

Umm....the Avengers (movieverse), pretty please? Particularly Loki, but I'm curious what everyone thinks the team would wear as well!

I'm conflicted on this one. I put it on, and I smell a sweet, dusty smell with a hint of leather. It's lovely, fresh and clean (which I usually don't like!) and subtle. Definitely a skin scent. Then I asked two of my friends to smell it, and they BOTH told me that it smells like a really clean bathroom! "No, it's a good thing! That's a good smell!" Well maybe it is, but I don't want my perfume to evoke a clean bathroom! Sigh. At least I love it, and can enjoy it at home. If only my skin didn't eat most of the leather and amp honey, this may have gone more smoothly.

This smells like a simpler version of Love's Philosophy to me. It's very sweet and rich, very buttery. I like it a lot, and I think it'll be great in sticky summer weather.

This is PURE MINT OMG MINT SCREAMING MINT on me. Mint chocolate is one of my favorite smells (although I hate the taste of it), so I was very sad. Hopefully with some aging/settling the chocolate will come out more. I get a hint of lime with the bottle, but not on my skin.

Yes, that IS chocolate. What else is there to say? Pure chocolate. My friend (a chocolate hater,) sniffed this and gagged. I sniffed it and siiiighed. It'll be great for layering.

Something must be wrong with me.. In the bottle, I smell sinister gingerbread, yes. But on my skin? It smells like aquatic ginger and citrus. Huh? It's one of the most aquatic scents I've tried, but also foody, and citrusy. This is so strange.. I'll retest it tomorrow, as my nose may be broken from smelling so many new oils, but hm..so strange.

This was such an impulse purchase for me, and could have gone so badly..but it didn't! It doesn't smell like Snake Oil. It smells a lot like one of my favorite conventional perfumes, MAC's MV3 (which has vetiver and vanilla as well, imagine that!), but a bit drier and smokier. My friend can smell cocunut, but I'm not picking up any. This is mysterious and SEXY, and I can't believe it works on me!

Slightly sweeter, softer Snake Oil with leather. I don't get any sage (I'm not complaining, mind you), but I can definitely pick out some tonka bean. On application, the sandalwood threatens to take over, but it disappears in the dry down. It smells like how Josh Brolin should smell.

Pure, sticky lemon lollipops. I don't even LIKE lemon or citrus usually, but this is divine. It'll be perfect for summer, and I have a feeling it might be a great work-out scent for pep and invigoration! I may need another bottle!

Snake Oil Lite? I like it more then Snake Oil (which amps and strangles everyone in a ten foot perimeter on my skin), but it's a little too..incensey? for me. I get nag champa incense and something musky and cuddly, but no chocolate mint. I will hold on to my bottle all the same though, as it's a very comforting scent.

Have you tried Lady Una? Smells like a honey cake drizzled with fresh blackberries and a cup of green tea to me

I've been replaying Dragon Age Origins and playing Dragon Age 2 for the second time through lately, and if anyone is a fan, I'd love to hear what you'd recommend for characters from either game! My picks: DAO: Alistair - ?? Morrigan - Bewitched. Zevran - Coyote or Casanova. Leliana - Bess or Whoso List to Hunt. Shale - Black Opal. Sten - ?? Oghren - A mix of Satyr and Roadhouse. Wynne - Something very herbal or medicinal. Quite a few from Rappacini's Garden would work. DA2: Fenris - I suppose Fenris Wolf is the obvious choice, but I almost see something a little more cold and deadly. Anders - ?? Isabela - Grog, or Anne Bonny. Maybe Hellcat. Merrill - Aeval. Varric - I'm tempted to say something from Steamworks. Sebastien - Cathedral. Aveline - Dragon's Heart. Bethany - Something very soft and ladylike, like Juliet. Man, when the RPG scents come out..sigh. Hopefully I'm not the only huge fan on the boards!

Bleh! This smells like Chanel No. 5 on my skin. Which I dislike. In the bottle, it smells like evil baby powder, so that's spot on!

This smells like lime and a sharp, acrid musk on my skin. Monster musk does not like me! In the bottle and on my brother, however, it's a really unique "cool" musk, if that makes sense.

This one is extremely clean and fresh. A light, citrus scent that isn't too sweet. It smells a bit like an air freshener, which isn't a bad thing. Not my type of scent, but definitely pleasant and a must-try if you love citrus.

Dusty, dying roses on an old, crumbling concrete slab. Kind of smells like a graveyard. Very evocative of the genre!

I don't know what I'm smelling in this blend. It's harsh, violent, and "masculine." Woodsy but also kind of grimey and smokey. Didn't skin test this one.
