Some light non-florals I've tried are:
Aizen-Myoo
Regan
The Apothecary
The Dormouse
White Rabbit
Water of Notre Dame
Shanghai
Glasgow
You might want to try some of the scents in the Illyria and Mad Tea Party categories.

in the bottle: chardonnay!
wet: chardonnay, vanilla (tonka), smoke
dry: rum, smoke, leather, a touch of chardonnay
in conclusion: Whoa. This starts out bright and sweet, but quickly -- as in, about five minutes -- fades to dark and smokey. This is a very nighttime scent; up close, it's VERY smokey, like cigarettes without the bitterness, but once you get farther away, the chardonnay and tonka make an appearance. It has a lot of throw, too. I like. It's very sexy and sensual. I might wear this Saturday when I work until midnight to see how it goes over!

in the bottle: dry flowers
wet: white flowers, air; STRONG
dry: white flowers, air, slight aquatics
in conclusion: GUH. So girly, so flowery, so gorgeous. I think it's called The Ghost because at first, it's really strong and bright OMG, but after a few minutes it starts to fade into something more close to the skin. I can't pick out any of the individual flowers, because I don't know what they smell like on their own, but this is a very soft, girly perfume. I adore it.

in the bottle: spicey wine, pumpkin? ginger?
wet: wine, spices, berries
dry: wine, spices, berries, juniper
in conclusion: At first this smells identical to Blood Rose, only without the sticky sweetness, but the more I smell it, the more distinct the berries and juniper are. It's really quite gorgeous. The spices and wine are really distinct, coming out almost like a kitchen, but it doesn't feel like I'm wearing food, which I think is thanks to all the woods. It's really, really beautiful, and I can imagine wearing this every day in autumn and winter.

Goddess of Strife and Discord, constant companion and sometime consort to Ares. She is a fickle, chaotic Goddess of Bedlam whose greatest passion is the sowing of dissention and turmoil. A suitably disjointed scent, bursting with gleeful mayhem: wet fruits and sharp mimosa with Martial spices and a deceptive flash of floral.
Bright, sweet, wet fruits. Almost bubblegumish. Blech! Going to my swaps pile. -
Sadly, this didn't work for me. It was identical to Blood Amber, which is strange, because every scent but amber is usually fine on me. Ah well.

Now that I have my spring/summer scents, I was wondering, what are the perfect smells for a day where you have to wear 10 layers just to open the door? But ones that don't smell like food?
Thanks!

Is there anything similar to Venice? I love it loads, but it fades very quickly on me!

This is beautiful. It's a very warm and feminine scent, but also sophisticated. At first it starts out all musk and plum, quite foody, but then the vanilla comes out and softens it. The patchouli is in no way overpowering; it sits in the background and ties all the notes together. This is definitely a scent I can imagine wearing every day, especially when it's still chilly out.
