Apricot! It's a fruity perfume that actually works on me! Love love LOVE the apricot in this. The patchouli is rather strong though, so this is a scent that I'll probably wear occasionally, but not all the time. Definitely give it a try.

This one went all candy cough-syrup with a bitter edge (leather? wood?) on me. Nope. Not for me.

This is the first time I've sniffed a perfume and been able to smell all the little scents that make it up! (or at least the major ones.) VERY clearly amber, honey, vanilla that combines in something that is sweet, but in a rich, buttery way, not a candy way. Oh my GOD I love this. It's an eyes-rolling-to-the-back-of-your-head scent. Not light at all, this is thick, heavy, and warm. Very golden. The honey is so amazing and I think I'm in love (lust?) with amber. Ordering a bottle of this. (Or two.)

Inspired by and created for my beloved Tedwin: my eternal, beautiful, wicked Dorian Gray. Refined, elegant, and lovely, with a noble bearing and seemingly gentle air. This blend is an artful deception: a sweet gilded blossom lying over a twisted and corrupted core. A Victorian fougere with three pale musks and dark, sugared vanilla tea. Oh my GODS yes. :DDD This is exactly as the description says. Yum yum yum. Sweet tea, creamy vanilla, a teensy touch of floralness, and musky goodness. I could eat this stuff. (Not to say that it's foody.) PERFECT. And I'm not sure if the slinky, devious feeling I get when I wear it is from Beth's obviously magical awesomeness or the connotations with Dorian himself. Need. Bottle.

Flowers and water and sweet herbs! Oooooh so lovely. This is the closest I've come to being able to wear something floral/herbal! But then it turns to powder. WOE IS I.
-
Floral and sweet! It's very pretty, and soothing rather than crisp. Unfortunately my skin steps on flowers and grinds them into the pavement almost every time. Definitely give it a try! (Sorry I can't be more specific, but I don't know individual flower scents yet.)

I'm finding out that the fruity scents rarely go over well on my skin. This is such an amazing fresh peach/herbal smell in the imp, but when it touches me it amps the peach straight into cough syruply sweet territory. *glares at skin in baleful fashion*

Definitely herbal berry tea. I was so prepared to love this! But the berry came out too sweet with my skin chemistry. (I was hoping for some tarter berries, but these are a little overripe to my taste.) It's something I can wear, but not spectacular on my skin.

Noooooooo. I had to go wash this one off. On me it's dirt that seems almost cloyingly sweet. I think it's the Juniper I don't like, but not having tried any other earthy scents I can't be certain. I wore it for half an hour in the hopes that it would morph into something better, but it stayed the same.

Grassy, dry, sharp, and a little sour. I like this. Like many reviews have said, it feels golden, but also has a burned acrid quality that isn't entirely unpleasant. Certainly unusual. I'm not sure I'd wear it very often, but I might on occasion just so I can sniff myself and get lost in the imagery.

Herbal, woodsy, clean, and sweet. It's beautiful, but too sweet on me.

Oh this is so gorgeous!!! I had this bath and body works vanilla body spray a couple of years ago and this is almost a dead-ringer for that scent except it has so much more depth. It's smooth vanilla--but not overly sweet vanilla (more like vanilla bean? Not sure...) with the lightest of floral undertones. Anyone who is scared of the floral bit, DON'T BE. I have yet to find a floral that actually works on me, but this is so light and well-blended! Try it!!!

I'm kind of obsessed with pumpkin bread/pumkin pie etc, so I was really looking forward to trying this scent. But I don't really get much of the spice and the pumkin is sour and plasticky on my skin. Tragedy strikes!

I wanted to like this! I love the smell of freshly ground coffee, but on me this was more like coffee that's gone bad. I think it could be the mahogany that doesn't work on me. I barely get anything floral or sweet or anything, just bitter, bitter, wood and coffee. Skin chemistry is evil sometimes!!!

Can a scent be fresh and musty at the same time? I love this! It's dust and wood and cold, stale air and incense. Okay I'm going to go raid a library at midnight now.

I wish I could sniff a single note of cassia, because I think that's what I'm getting lots of. It's a sugary citrus with something woodsy. Not really my thing.
-
Woohoo spicy! Like ginger and pepper biting spicy, but with sweet underneath. Not foody at all by the way. I've never smelled anything like it, though I'm not sure I would use a whole bottle of it...

Whoa. Fascinating scent. I don't have the most experienced nose (I'm getting better!), but the scents that I pick out most are the coconut and the water with the florals just barely touching the surface. Something else I can't identify...maybe ambergris? It's not exactly tropical, but it's definitely ocean. Sweet, and strange. I like it, but it comes out too sweet on my skin. I recommend trying it just for the experience.

This is an interesting scent. Not particularly dark (kind of hard to do with an aquatic), but very fresh and reminiscent of the ocean. When I put it on however, it goes all pure soap. Slightly powdery soap. When I sniff my wrist up close it's sharp and strong, but it doesn't seem to have much throw on me. A bit too masculine for me, but not so much that it couldn't be unisex for those of you who can wear strong aquatics/clean scents. (So far the only aquatic that's worked on me is R'lyeh. Which is gorgeous.) Also it's Cthulhu. All hail Cthulhu.

This is an unbelievably epic scent. I LOVES IT. As in contender (with Mme. Moriarty) for absolute favorite Bpal ever. When I first got it, I liked it more in the imp than I liked it on me because it was this gorgeous, rich, spicy gingersnap scent in the bottle and when it hit my skin any hint of sweetness or foodiness disappeared and it turned into pure spice. (Which was nice, but not great.) Then it aged for a couple of weeks and blended a little better and hoooooo yessssss. It's so delicious. It hovers on the border between foody and not foody. (Not that it stops me wanting to go all zombie on my arm.) What else can I say? If you like ginger and you like evil goat deities, then try some!!!

It's a very dark, plumb-chocolate color. GORGEOUS. I often wore black nail polish before, but this is FAR more intriguing! It looks almost dark enough to be black in some light, and more brown in others, and more purple in others. I love it and will absolutely buy more when I start running low!

Holy god. I grabbed this as an imp to see what all the hullabaloo was about along with about 7 other imps. My first whiff out of the bottle left me thinking "okay, pretty good, not spectacular" and I set it aside to try the rest of the stuff. But later I tried it on and JUST...JUST... I've been trying to inhale my arm for the past twenty minutes. This is such a gorgeous scent. Warm and spicy and a bit like ancient wood--but it casts a shadow of sweetness that barely, just barely hovers. It's bottle time.
