    Pumpkin III (2014)

I like the lab's fig perfumes, as they always smell sticky-sweet, slightly chocolatey, and slightly woody to me, like real figs. Intrigue is still my favorite fig blend, with actual chocolate and wood playing up those nuances. But I kinda like this one too, with the cinnamon pumpkin spice sprinkled over the chewy fig note, on a bed of soft, dry cedar. I don't get the vanilla or resins.

    Suck It (2014)

The original smells weirdly like black licorice rolled in black cherry flavored kool-aid powder to me. This is no licorice and less powder, but kinda smells like someone dumped black cherry kool-aid powder into some cherry flavored cough syrup. I have a hard time wearing cherry blends, because they tend to either smell like cough syrup or smell way too sweet, like maraschino cherry juice. This one is cough syrup.

    Sin in the Pumpkin Patch

Sin on its own is almost overwhelmingly cinnamony, so adding cinnamon pumpkin spice to it is too much for me. This smells like sharp cinnamon red hots candies, and turns my skin red and burns where applied...

    Moroccan Pumpkin Patch

I actually don't like Morocco, and bpal's pumpkin blends tend to turn to pure cinnamon on my skin, but this is wearable to me. The pumpkin note is very buttery, and I love buttery scents, and it somehow makes the powdery vanilla of Morocco not so dry and blah on my skin. I still smell cinnamon, but it's lighter. The whole blend is light, like Morocco (which has almost no throw and lasts 3 hours tops on me). Warm, powdery vanilla, buttery pumpkin and a hint of cinnamon...

    Goblin Market

Spiced apple air freshener? Has a perfumey/powdery edge to it and a sort of nondescript fruitiness + apple cider candle. This one started to give me a headache and I only wore it once for a few minutes.

    Pumpkin IV (2014)

Tons of cinnamon and the tiniest hint of frankincense and sweet honey. Reminds me of Bengal, but the honey is more apparent in Bengal.

    Pumpkin II (2014)

The description for this sounded like one of my favorite Solstice Scents blends - Jack & The Devil - which is notes of: "Vanilla, tobacco, oakmoss, amber, patchouli, pumpkin and soft spice." So if anyone is looking for this sort of scent, I'd recommend checking them out With Jack & The Devil, I can actually smell all of the listed notes, where bpal's pumpkin scents tend to smell overwhelmingly of cinnamon spice in these later years. I get mostly cinnamon from Pumpkin II '14, with a hint of earthy patchouli after about an hour. The other notes just can't come out over the heavy pumpkin spice.

    Pumpkin I (2014)

This just smells like cinnamon on me, and burns my skin where applied.

    The White Witch

Red musk dominates as usual, with the pomegranate adding its weird, powdery sweet tarts candy thing to the overall red and fruity feel of the red musk. As it dries down, the patchouli and vetiver are noticeable, adding a dark, earthy, smoky edge to the musk. For some reason, this smells sort of flat and ashy to me. Pomegranate rarely works on me, though.

    Visions of Autumn II

I love rose geranium, so I enjoy this blend. It's like a spicy, green, herbal scent with rose tones. I can't pick out most of the other notes, except for a dark, resinous, syrupy sweetness added by the opoponax and a soft, dry earth from the patchouli. Rose geranium on an earthy, resinous base.

    Visions of Autumn I

Masculine, spicy cedar. I can definitely smell the black pepper and bay, and I love their sharp, dry spiciness, over a warm, spicy cedar. It would have been full bottle worthy, but the golden amber turns to baby powder in the drydown, and I can't stand that powdery undertone.

    Single Note: Polyester Spiderweb

Watery, green cucumber, a weird and chemical hairspray smell (like what I usually get from the opium poppy note) and a powdery white musk feel.

    Alice in the Pumpkin Patch

Alice was one of my first bpal loves, so I'm attached to what it 'should' smell like. I can smell some of the lemony tea, dry carnation and creaminess of Alice, but its stomped all over with cinnamon/pumpkin spice, and it just smells off to me. This dries down to pretty much all cinnamon on my skin.

    Visions of Autumn IV

I don't get the myrrh or champaca. This smells like sour, lemon scented dish soap with a creamy orange blossom note thrown in. Turns a little powdery in the drydown.

    Visions of Autumn III

Dark, woody patchouli with a bright, creamy, sort of citrusy-floral honey note and a little bit of woody, sharp cinnamon. It keeps making me think of cedar and cinnamon bark as it dries down, and the honey is sweeter as it settles. I think that honey+patchouli is always a good time, so I like this, though I have a lot of similar blends at this point.

    Visions of Autumn VII

Mmm. This is so good. Syrupy, resinous, sweet, thick myrrh and opoponax with earthy, slightly smoky tobacco and hints of warm sandalwood that's not going to powder, and a little bite of sharp black pepper. Dark, golden, warm, sweet and resinous.

    Pumpkin V (2014)

Buttery, cinnamony pumpkin with hints of herbal greenery and dirt. Pumpkin Patch V '05 is still my favorite pumpkin patch scent (pumpkin with five woods, English ivy and galangal root), and it doesn't have the spiciness that this one has, and the earthy/plant parts were more dry and creamy where this is green and sharp to me.

    La Femme de Satan

Red musk amps up on me, which is fine, because I really enjoy the lab's red musk. And I love all of the other notes in this that swirl around underneath the red musk. I wear this and catch hints of dark, sweet cocoa powder, spicy clove, and earthy patchouli. I usually dislike how tart/sour red currant is, but it just melds into the wine-like, fruity tones of the red musk. It's really sexy and reminds me of Midnight Kiss, which is one of my favorite bpals.

    Sweet William's Ghost

Soapy and sharply white floral from the lily, tobacco flower and tuberose. I get no patchouli or darker notes. White bar soap and sharp white floral perfume.

    Pan Twardowski and the Devil

This isn't what I was expecting. I was expecting spicy, dark, rich tobacco and leather with spicy bay. I'm getting clean, musky, perfumey, cool, herbal lavender cologne. A little smoky (the tobacco or oud?) after about an hour, but mostly still just clean, musky lavender cologne...

    The Witches’ Rout (the Carcass)

Starts off as smoky vetiver and powdery sandalwood, and I wanted to scrub it off immediately, but the drydown loses the powder & only has a slight woodsmoke scent to it. The drydown is more of a sweet, spiced plum and thick, resinous sweetness from the opoponax, with just a hint of black woodsmoke from the vetiver. I love it a lot in the drydown. Dark and cozy.
  22. Blood onmy hands

    Satan Summoning His Legions

Starts off as sharp red hots cinnamon candy and an undertone of smoky incense, and gets more powdery sandalwood and soapy, dry white musk to it over time. I don't get any of the leather from my decant.
  23. Blood onmy hands

    Gingerbread Goblin

Goblin smells like coconut cream, cedar-y patchouli, and warm, resinous benzoin on me. I get all of that here, but with the addition of a spicy, smoky gingerbread. It's like someone poured Goblin over a batch of smoking, burnt-around-the-edges gingerbread cookies. So it smells *really* good.
  24. Blood onmy hands

    The Fox Sisters

This is a simple, pretty blend of lightly sweet tea rose and tart green apple on my skin. The apple makes the rose feel more fresh and natural to me. As it dries down, I can smell the dry wood and herbal rose geranium. It smells like wild roses growing through a fallen tree trunk, surrounded by herbal greens. I enjoy this blend; it's like finding a rose bush in a forest clearing.

    A Measurement of the Soul

Starts off kind of like Intrigue, but with sage instead of chocolate, so I like this a lot less. The herbal, savory sage scent is always off-putting to me. Mixed with sweet, woody fix and a dry, pencil shavings type cedar. As it dries down, it shifts into a clean, light, lemony scent, which must be the ti leaf.
