I swear I can smell every note in this blend. A very pleasant floral and musk blended with vanilla. As it dried down, the clove became more dominant, but the floral, musk, and vanilla are all still there too. Glad I purchased a bottle of this. Very nice.

Wow, this is nice! A floral incense with a hint of sweetness. Fortunately the floral is tapered with the sugar making this work on my skin. A very different, intriguing scent. For me, this is nothing like Midway which is all sugar & cotton candy on me. Midnight on the Midway is not foody, but has enough sweetness to appeal to many foody addicts.

In the bottle, lemony and citrusy.... Wet on my skin, I am amping the lemon note. It's overpowering everything else. As it dries down, there's more of creamy quality to the lemon. Dry, it's a powdery lemon scent.

This is one of those oils that smells entirely different between bottle and skin. In the bottle, it's sweet cherry syrup. On my skin, wood and cedar. I suppose there is a hint of sweetness from the cherry notes, but it pretty much dries down to a woodsy scent, but one of the few woodsy scents I actually like.

This oil is very reminiscent of Sugar Skull. Sugar cane and berry are dominant while the oil is wet on my skin. As it dries, I get a bit of the musk and then it dries down to pretty much just sugar cane. A very pleasant oil, but as with a lot of the sugary oils, this fades quickly on my skin.

Black Lace is definitely one of my favorites. I purchased a bottle after only having a sniffie to go by and I'm so happy I bought the bottle. This is a beautiful blend of incense, cream, and musk on me. And lasts for hours on my skin.

Tiki Queen is a sweet, very light floral on me with a bit of coconut mixed in. It's not an overpowering scent, very subtle, but long lasting and tends to amp periodically throughout the day. It was a very light, refreshing scent to wear to work.

In the bottle and wet on my skin, this is almost an aquatic berry scent for me. As it dries, I get more of the floral note and mixed with the plums, it's a delicate scent. Perfect for me because I cannot do harsh or vibrant florals, but this is just perfect. The right amount of fruit and sweetness to counter the floral. I'm very happy I purchased a bottle of this last week untested.

I received a decant of this as a frimp and I had been wanting to try it. Definitely reminiscent of Lick It, etc. I can also detect that chocolate-y note that others speak of that makes it smell like Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mints. I'm glad to have tried it, but I think the decant will be enough for me.

When I first sniffed this from the bottle, I was certain this was going up on the For Sale/For Swap thread. It smells really sour and nauseating from the bottle to me. I dabbed a bit on my wrist just to sample before making my final decision....I'm glad I did. On my wrist, it's mainly cinnamon and something else...maybe cassia? Not sure what cassia smells like. It has a tremendous throw, but it's dried down to a pleasant (if not, strong) cinnamon scent. For now, I'm keeping it to see how it ages.

Chocolate-covered Snake oil is right. This is a creamy chocolate with a hint of amber on me. It's not foody for me either, just a gorgeous blend of snake oil and cocoa. Definitely a keeper!

Sadly, the bottle of Samhain '08 I picked up on the forum a few days ago is not going to work for me. I thought with the nutmeg, pumpkin, red apple, allspice, and clove it would be really nice...but on my skin, it smells like someone stamped their cigarette out on my wrist. I even waited hours to see if it would morph into something more hospitable, but alas... I wanted to love this scent, but it was just not meant to be.

In the bottle, it's apple spice to me. Wet on skin, it's a yummy apple spice musk on me. As it dries, I can pick up the moss and bark notes. This is such a beautiful and perfect scent for Fall. Will be one of my favorites for a long time to come.

Just tried my frimp of Dragon's Heart today and it smells almost exactly the same on my skin as The Blood Garden.
-
This is all spicy almond on me. I love it. As it dries, I do smell cherries too. But it's beautiful on me wet and dry on the skin. Definitely a keeper.

This is just a beautiful blend of tea, musk, and very light floral mixed with a creaminess, which I presume is the vanilla. I have to watch anything with floral in it, but on me this has barely any floral throw. Mostly just tea, fruit, musk, & vanilla. So glad I decided to get a bottle after trying the decant.

In the bottle and wet on the skin, The Blood Garden sort of hit me over the head with the powerful clove & bitter notes. Once applied to the skin and allowed to dry for a couple minutes, the harshness retreats and I'm left with a wonderful blood resin, musk, and deep red wine blend. Definitely a keeper!

I cannot pick out specific notes either, just a sweet, sugary scent with a bit of plasticity as well as it begins to wear off.
-
I just received my bottle yesterday and tried it out for the first time today. I adore it. I am not getting any woodsy throw from it. It's mainly a smooth musky blood resin. It smells gorgeous on my skin. In fact, I received my first BPAL compliment at work today when one of my co-workers caught me at the printer and had to know what I was wearing. Definitely a keeper for me!

In the bottle, this is fruity...on my skin it takes on a bubblegum quality that gradually fades to a sugary, fruity aroma.
-
Even though the fruit note in this is pomegranate, I smell cherries on my skin. This smells exactly like a Cherries Jubilee (chiffon) dessert my mother makes with black pitted cherries and cream cheese.

In the bottle, I get cinnamon hot chocolate. Wet on the skin, cinnamon (guess it's the cardamom) dominates. As it begins to dry, the cocoa begins to come out to play. Dry-- cherries & chocolate with caramel dribbled over top and a sweet musk that makes it spicy to the nose. I love this scent!

Absolute heaven. Like walking into a Starbucks from the cold in the middle of winter. ETA: 2009 edition is nearly identical. Strong chocolate & coffee scent, except a little more chocolate than coffee. Lots of throw and lasts for several hours on my skin.
-
In the bottle, it's peppermint with a hint of vanilla. Wet on the skin, it's a creamy peppermint scent. Lots of throw on this for me, at least initially. As it dries, it's mostly strong peppermint on me. Great if you like peppermint candy canes, but I'm not such a fan of candy canes. This will go back to the swap/sell thread for someone else to give it the love it deserves.

Unfortunately, this scent is all wood and patchouli on my skin (even sniffing from bottle). Try as I might, I cannot detect any of the delectable fruit notes or caramel. So sad. I was really looking forward to this scent.
