    Milk Chocolate Buttercream

I'm a total chocoholic and this scent does not disappoint. Sniffing the bottle it does smell a bit boozy, but applied on my skin it's a beautifully creamy milk chocolate. Definitely a keeper.

    Winter Maiden Bath Oil

This is just a gorgeous, gorgeous scent. It's so balanced between the amber and blackberry and floral. I don't usually take baths, but I've found this is wonderful to apply to the skin after showering and also as a stand alone perfume. I love slathering it on and the throw is amazing. I'm hoping this becomes a holiday tradition and if the lab ever puts this out as a 5ml perfume oil I'd hoard bottles and bottles and bottles of it. It's just that good!

    Ol' Roswell Cemetery

Sniffing the bottle it has a very fresh, almost citrusy scent. Once applied to skin though, there is no mistaking it's dirt. A very rich potting soil. Reminds me of early spring when I'm tilling the garden soil before planting flowers. As it dries, I do get a bit of that citrus tang scent again, though it's layered deep below the dirt note.

    Flowering Chrysanthemums

Sniffing the imp, this is a lovely cinnamon, vanilla, and amber scent Wet on skin, it's still cinnamon, vanilla, and amber mostly. Not really getting any floral here, which may be a good thing. On dry down I can smell more incense. Cinnamon is still strong and vanilla blends with floral notes to add a creamy quality. Surprisingly, I may be buying a bottle of this.

    Voyeurs Among the Cherry Blossoms

Sniffing the imp, it's all soft cherry blossom Wet on skin, it's a soft musk and cherry blossom. On drydown, definitely does remind me of men's cologne at this stage. I love the smell of it, but it's not quite feminine enough for me. Hmmm, maybe my husband will like this.

    Tissue

Sniffing the imp, it's all gardenia. Wet on skin, initially still gardenia then blends to a more woody scent (the rice paper perhaps?). Still not getting any honey though. On dry down, woody gardenia. No honey, and I really needed this to be a little less floral and a bit sweeter. But if you love Gardenia scents, this one's for you!

    Man With Phallus Head

Sniffing the imp, I get mostly honey and black currant. Wet on skin, sweet & fruity initially, but quickly turns to mostly smoky musk over everything else... On dry down, I'm getting baby powder.
  8. In the imp: definitely apricot and what I presume is the Sake Wet on skin: I really can pick up every note in this blend...sweet apricot, wood, and something else that must be sake. The more it dries, the more I smell the apricot over everything else. It's fruity but not foody. Sweet, but not overly sweet. This is one I might consider getting in a bottle.

    Giant Vulva

In the imp, I get mostly incense and floral. Nothing sweet. Wet on skin, I get the musk, beeswax and floral notes. Still no sugary or sweetness though. Dries down to almost nothing on my skin with a faint bit of beeswax remaining. This one was a surprise disappointment for me. No bottle of Giant Vulva for me, unfortunately.

    Lovers with Rutting Cats

Sniffing the imp, I get really sweet vanilla, maybe a hint of the dates. Wet on skin, vanilla and ginger. As it dries down, gets a bit powdery, but very pleasant. This seems to disappear quickly on my skin, but smells beautiful while it's there.

    Couple Consulting an Enpon

In the imp, it's strong...almost smoky Wet on my skin I am having hard time picking any other notes out except the amber and mint. As it dries down, I can faintly smell orange blossom and maybe the sandalwood. No blackberry though, which is disappointing. Even dry, my skin just amps the amber and mint. I like it but not enough for a bottle of it.

    Agapē

In the bottle, it smells like like sweet fruit and cream. Wet on my skin, I pick up the apple and guava notes more than anything else. Occasionally, I do get wiffs of carnation and the sweet pea, but it's not constant to the throw. As it dries, I can smell more of the passionfruit along with apple & guava. The vanilla cream is really trace and hard to pick out on my skin. The floral notes are little more noticeable the more it dries down and the scent does go a bit powdery, but it's still mainly sweet fruit. It's a very light-hearted scent and makes me feel happy when I sniff. Definitely a "cheer me up" kind of scent.

What do bottles and labels look like?

They are lovely bottles. I think they look very...literary. Sadly, half of them are not blending so lovely on my skin.

    The Fainting Couch Atmosphere Spray

Definitely rose, but a dusty rose scent. Very feminine and kind of subtle. Makes me think of Spring, but maybe I'm just projecting my disgust with winter at this point.

    White Chocolate and Strawberry

Sniffing the bottle, this is creamy strawberry. So yummy smelling. After applying to skin, it starts out mostly like vanilla and strawberry, but as it dries on my skin, I begin to smell the white chocolate note. If you're like me and love the creamy, fruity scents, this one's for you.

    Lump of Coal

Oooh, a foody lover's dream. This is definitely decadent, sinfully delicious, thick chocolate brownie. Brings out my craving for chocolate.

    White Rose

This is a lovely scent. Very creamy and sweet without being cloying. I can smell the rose & coconut mingled in the background, but the major notes after applying on my skin are vanilla tea and benzoin. Even if you don't normally like the rose blends, I recommend trying just a bit of this if you can. Could be a sister to Snow White.

    Red Rose

I don't really get much of a rose scent on my skin, so those of you who scare off rose notes easily, don't automatically dismiss this scent or it's sister, White Rose. Sniffing from the bottle, I smell mostly spice and fir. A very warm scent. Wet on my skin, it's spicy clove, musk, and fir. Dry, it's a bit spicy-powder on me, but in a good way.

    Lionheart

For the last several months, I've been under a lot of work-related stress and it's taken a toll on me. I've been sad, frustrated, over-worked, and just feeling out of sorts. A couple weeks ago, I stumbled into the TAL part of this forum and began reading some of the reviews of Lionheart as well as a few other TAL oils. I had some extra money in the Paypal account and decided to take a chance. I've been using Lionheart for a week now and whether it's the mystical effect of the oil or just a fresh perspective on my part, my mood and associated anxiety has lifted considerably. I still have the same stress factors going on at work, but in the last several days, I just seem to be able to handle them better and "go with the flow". Each morning I've been applying a dab of oil to my Chakra points before I leave for work. It's become the 1st oil I apply in the morning, followed by my BPAL of the day. I actually am not terribly found of the scent, but it's not offensive either, and it's not too strong, so I can apply another BPAL of my choice to my wrists and arms . I'm amazed at the change and am so, so happy I decided to try this. I already plan to buy another TAL when I have some extra money together again.

Amazing artwork! I love the labels on the B-Movie scents.

    Scattered Gloom

Sniffing the bottle, it's indeed dark, rich, & resinous. On my skin, it's incense, pepper, and resin. It does remind me a lot of Midnight Mass on my skin the more it dries.

    Uncertain Horror

Sniffing the bottle, it is a very rich scent. I can pick out the patchouli, smoke, and sage notes most. Wet on the skin, patchouli is the most dominant note. Not surprising, as my skin temps to amp almost everything with patchouli in it. As it dries, though, I do get more incense blending with the patchouli which really saves this scent for me. I'm interested to see how this changes as it ages.

    Hollyberry & Mistletoe

Sniffing the bottle, it's very green with a trace of berry. Wet on the skin, Mmm this is spicy berry with just enough pine to keep it from going too sweet. As it dries more, I get the Cinnamon note too. This is a perfect mix of pine, spice, and berry. Like every single other Storytime Inquisition scent I have tried, it's amazing.
