Sniffing the imp, it's sweet and I can't really smell anything but sugar. On the skin, it reminds me of Irish Spring deodorant soap. Stays much the same wet and dry on my skin. It's definitely a fresh, clean scent but a little too soapy for me to consider for perfume.

Chaos Theory V: Recursive Self Similarity v4

DXI I picked up 2 decants of this blend blindly without the benefit of any reviews. And am I glad I did. This blend is Lavender and Snake Oil. I can't stop sniffing my wrist. It's so comforting that it may temporarily displace TKO as my bedtime BPAL for a little while. I'm so sad that this is a one of a kind blend, but it's given me the idea to blend some of my Snake Oil with TKO once I've used up these 2 decants. -
My confirmation emails from CC Now finally came through middle of the night last night. Must have been some kind of hold up on a server.
-
My favorite plum scents are Bordello, Makhanitis, & Midwinter's Eve. Just gorgeous blends.
-
This happened to me, too, just now, when I placed my Inquisition order. And I can't seem to go back into CCnow to request a duplicate - the screen shows the "Your cart is empty" message." You have to know your order number in order to pull it back up on the CC Now website. It will ask for order number, credit card number, order total (including shipping), and date order was placed.
-
Yeah, it took me a couple tries to get even the duplicate email confirmations to come through.
-
Neither of my update orders (from Lab or BPTP) yesterday came back with confirmations, but I did screen prints and then logged back in (to make sure the orders took) and had duplicate confirmations sent to my email address.

Sniffing the imp, I can pick out the black amber and bergamot and fruit. Wet on my skin, it's a sweet citrus. I get more lemon than grapefruit though. The amber comes back after it begin to dry and I can smell the plum and bergamot as well. I like this blend. It's sweet, but not overly sugary. Once completely dry, I can smell the Orris too. One of the few blends I have been able to detect every single note.

Sniffing the imp, it's spices and pepper. Wet on the skin, I'm getting sand, spices, and something vaguely sweet, which I think might be the tobacco. I'm really not getting the dragon's blood, though, that too may be sweetening the blend a bit. This dries to a very alluring sexy scent. I intend to pick up a bottle of this on a future order.
-
Sniffing the imp, it's dragon's blood and pepper. Wet on my skin, dragon's blood, pepper, and clove mainly. Cinnamon is a minor note. Goes very spicy the more it dries and once completely dry, it's almost all cinnamon and Dragon's Blood. Clove is faint and pepper note is completely gone.

Wet on my skin, this is red musk and floral. As it dries, it's turning into a sweet, soapy scent. Not terrible, but nothing I would reach for on a regular basis..

This one starts out smoky on my skin, but quickly turns to soap. This one goes to the swap pile.

Chaos Theory V: Recursive Self Similarity v4

I swapped decants with a friend and unfortunately the numbers were rubbed off her bottles so I have no idea which number this is... Sniffing the imp & wet on my skin, it's Snake Oil + cherries. After it dries down though, I'm left with just the Snake Oil. I adore Snake Oil, but I wish the cherry-like note had stuck around on my skin a bit longer. Still, I will make this decant last, because I do love that initial throw. -

VXI (I think...this is a decant and bottle owner is not sure if that is full number) This blend is Dorian + Lemon Verbena It's a light-hearted perfect for summer scent. Makes me want to drink a tall glass of extra sugary homemade lemonade. -
I received a testable sniffie today of Spanked. Sniffing the imp, it's all leather and bourbon. On my skin, I smell every single note: leather, bourbon, cinnamon-like cardamom, and patchouli. It dries down to spicy leather with a hint of patchouli. The bourbon note might still be there but is kind of disguised under the cardamom now. Damn, I see why this is so popular. It's an amazing blend. Here's hoping this scent gets resurrected some time in the future. I can't stop sniffing my wrist.

Sniffing the imp, it's mostly almond amaretto. Wet on the skin, honey, almond, and fig are what I get immediately. Almond is VERY strong. As it dries, the myrrh and musk are noticeable and the almond tames down. I smell apples and roses as it dries, but once it's fully dry, I can't smell the apple or the rose anymore. Fully dry, it's myrrh, musk, honey, fig, and lily. The lily is not noticeable at all until it's been dry for almost an hour. A very pleasant blend. I would have liked to have gotten more apple out of this scent, but it's still good enough to warrant getting a bottle with a future order.

Sniffing the imp, I get root beer too. Wet on the skin, fizzy root bear float. This is a spicy sweet blend. I'm not sure if I want a bottle of it, but I do like my imp. -
Sniffing the imp, it's cedar. Wet on the skin, this is a black licorice and cedar. I love it. Dries down to cedar, black licorice, and vanilla on my skin. I might be getting a bottle of this after all.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this before now. Sniffing the imp, it's chocolate. Wet on my skin, it still has that lovely chocolate note, but I now smell the myrrh. As it dries more, I smell myrrh and incense more than the chocolate. The chocolate becomes a minor note, but is still recognizable underneath the incense. Very nice....
-
Sniffing the imp, it's sour fruit. Wet on the skin, it's mimosa and kind of bubblegum-like. Dries down to a soft fruit floral. That initial sour note comes and goes. It's a nice blend when the sourness goes away, but then it comes back and ruins the scent for me. I have pass on this one.
-
Sniffing the imp, yep that's vetiver. Wet on the skin, vetiver....dry, still vetiver but more smoke now. I hate vetiver so I am off to wash off my arm.
-
Sniffing the imp, it's a light floral scent and something else...not sure what though. Wet on the skin, it's tropical floral and very clean smelling. I agree with prior reviews that it does smell soapy. Dries down to a soft floral soap scent. Nice, but meh.

Sniffing the imp, it's lovely frankincense. Wet on the skin, it's almost a balanced blend of rose and frankincense throw on my skin. Dry on my skin, it's mostly tea rose with faint whiffs of frankincense. I like it, but not so much as to buy a bottle.
-
Sniffing the imp, it's quite minty. Wet on the skin, it's mint and sandalwood. Very herbal. No rose or violet while wet. This has dried to all herbal mint on my skin. Toothpaste smell, actually. I'm no longer getting any sandalwood and never really smelled the rose or violet.

Sniffing the bottle, there is no doubt that this has a creamy coffee note in it. It does smell very reminiscent of Egg Nog Latte when sniffing just the bottle. On my skin, it's still a creamy coffee note while wet. On the drydown, I am getting a floral note as well, but my skin is mainly throwing off coffee and vanilla notes, not really much of the floral. If you're a fan of coffee scents, this is worth trying. I'm glad I purchased a bottle.
