Sniffing the bottle, it's fresh strawberries and grass. Applied wet to my skin, the scent remains pretty true as it was in the bottle. Strawberries and green grass. This is not a foodie blend. The grass notes perfectly balance the strawberry. The oil dries down to nearly the same scent---this has not morphed a bit on my skin from bottle to initial application to dry down. Every time I sniff my wrist I imagine I am standing in the middle of a strawberry patch with fields of wild grass surrounding it. It always amazes me how Beth manages to make these blends so very real.

Sniffing the bottle, it's a dark brimstone, vetiver-ish scent. Wet on the skin, there's no more brimstone/vetiver (thank goodness), just a smoky rum. A few minutes later, it goes to smelling a bit like bacon, but that stage passes fairly quick (again, thank goodness). It dries to a beautiful smoky incense blend. The rum note is still there, but very subdued on my skin.

Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?
angelicruin replied to Snow White's topic in BPAL FAQs
Checking the CnS thread is probably your best guide. I know I placed an order 5/8 that just shipped yesterday and placed another one on 5/11 that has not yet shipped if that helps...I'd say about 2.5 weeks right now, at least based on my orders placed in May. -
Sniffing the bottle, it's pine needle, black pepper, and very musty. Exactly what you would expect from a Nosferatu inspired scent. Wet on my skin, it's myrrh, black musk, dust, and patchouli. But not overpowering patchouli. This blend is actually much softer on my skin than it was sniffing the bottle. On my skin, I'm not getting the pine needle note, nor the strong black pepper I sniffed from the bottle. The myrrh seems to be softening and even kind of sweetening the blend on my skin. As it dries, it becomes mostly musty, dusty, myrrth and musk on my skin. Nice, in a creepy sort of way.

Sniffing the bottle, this seems dark and bitter to my nose. Wet on my skin, something is going a bit vetiver-ish. As it dries down, the Vetiver-like scent goes away and it softens considerably on my skin. It's mostly a powdery floral musk dry on my skin. I'm not really getting any tobacco either. I think I will let this one sit and age for a little while before I try it again.

Sniffing the bottle, it's a boozy chocolate scent to my nose. Wet on the skin, I'm still getting mostly chocolate, a bit of berry which is likely from the grenadine, and corn syrup. No peanut butter note. Dry down, the chocolate remains the dominant note on my skin and I can now sniff the peanut butter along with grenadine. I talked myself out of a second bottle, but it is tempting. Definitely a scent for the foodie scent lovers.

Sniffing the bottle, it's a light, citrus, fresh scent. Wet on my skin, has a soft sweet, green scent. This does remind me of Haunted a bit too. As it dries, I'm getting a mildly sweet lemon-lime musk and amber scent on my skin.

Sniffing the bottle, it's a sweet herbal-floral blend. Wet on the skin, I can immediately pick up the Lily, Sandalwood, Blood Orange, Mint, & Eucalyptus. This is a very balanced scent on my skin as it dries. I don't smell any one note really dominating the rest. They're all just blended in there together and I can pick each one out as I sniff. With this application, though, I am not really getting any licorice note. I think this scent has the potential to become something amazing as it ages.

Sniffing the bottle, it's all yummy banana cream pie. Wet on my skin, it smells of ripe bananas. I am getting a trace amount of grease, but not really getting any of the blood. On drydown, the banana note softens significantly and the grease note amps up a bit on my skin, which makes me agree with the above review that this blend is much like Velvet Clown only with bananas. I love this scent and already placed another order for back-up bottles. Banana BPAL scents are few and far between and this one I will cherish.

The vintage labels look really cool. Thanks for posting pics, Gingie!

Sniffing the bottle, it's florals and red musk. A very gentle floral note. Wet on the skin, red musk, incense, and Chrysanthemums. As it dries, sweetens a little bit and becomes spicier. Quite resinous and gorgeous blend to wear out for an evening.

Sniffing the bottle, it's strawberries and honey. Wet on the skin, I'm getting the strawberries, honey, and carnation notes immediately. Definitely a pink scent. As it dries, I'm getting a bit of phlox as well. Strawberries, honey, and carnations though rule this blend on my skin. Very lovely and gentle.

Sniffing the bottle, it's a spicy cake scent. On my skin, Carrot Cake with Buttercream frosting. I have the urge to gnaw on my wrist.

Chaos Theory V: Recursive Self-Similarity v3

CXI This is definitely bananas and penitence. I love it! I purchased a decant of it last weekend and love it so much that I am purchasing 3 more decants from the individual who sold me the 1st decant. Bananas especially when wet, but they do fade as they dry, but I still love the blend while wet. Previously reviewed by Little Bird. -
Oh, that label for SM 09 is pretty.

Sniffing the bottle, I'm getting mostly frankincense and coconut. Wet on the skin, I agree that this is reminiscent to Snow White and White Rose. I'm still picking up coconut and frankincense with a bit of chamomile. Cedar note emerges as it dries more along with myrrh. Coconut and Frankincense, though, are the primary note being amped on my skin with this scent.

Sniffing the bottle, it's sharp and slightly sour. Wet on the skin, I'm picking up the Sassafras the strongest giving it a root beer kind of scent. I'm also smelling something sweet, perhaps the Juniper Berry or else the Fig note. Dry on my skin, this is still mostly Sassafras, but I'm also now picking up the mandrake and it's still got that bit of sharp sweetness to it. I'm not picking up any of the floral in this blend. This is mainly a Sassafras base on my skin. Love it.

Sniffing the bottle, this is rich berry & patchouli blend. Wet on my skin, I'm getting patchouli, pomegranate, blackberry, and bergamot. Dry, this is a a bit spicy with blackberry, bergamot, and patchouli. I have to be very careful with patchouli blends, but this one just works wonderfully for me. Definitely worth keeping.

Sniffing the bottle, it's roses and strawberries. Wet on my skin, huckleberry, strawberry, and rose. Dry I am getting the frankincense, rose, huckleberry, violet, and strawberry note becomes very subdued. I'm curious to see how this one ages...

Sniffing the bottle, this scent has a strong lavender note. Wet on the skin, I'm still getting that lavender note (which I love), lemon (verbena), and a touch of sage. As it dries, I think I can now smell a bit of the cypress and a hint of peach. Still, this blend is mostly lavender and verbena on my skin, wet and dry. If you're a lavender fan, it's worth trying.

This is a beautiful scent. Sniffing the bottle it's a very creamy benzoin & verbena, mostly. On my skin, the amber is just gorgeous. Very resinous. I can smell the herbs and floral notes but the vanilla-creamy quality just makes everything including the amber soft and comforting. I wore this scent to bed last night and just re-applied some more after work this evening. It's a perfect scent for me at bedtime. Very soothing.

Puddin was kind enough to include a goblin squirt of this with my most recent eBay order. Definitely herbal and musky, vaguely sweet. Quite a strong fragrance. I don't mind it, but it's probably not anything I would seek a larger bottle of.

Sniffing the imp, it's lovely lemon. Wet on the skin, lemon, myrrh, and rosemary. Dry down, still mainly a lemon scent on my skin (which I love) and a bit more powdery.
