Sniffing the bottle, it's a vanilla buttercream scent. Applied to my skin, it's vanilla cupcake while wet, but as it dries, there's another note that emerges that smells something like earth or maybe dust. Whatever that note is, it keeps the scent balanced on my skin. This also lasts for hours with fairly good throw, but nothing that knocks people down either. I'm hoping one of the new upcoming CD blends is close to this one because I do love it and would like more bottles of it.

Inside the imp, violets and lily. Wet on my skin, mostly juniper initially and myrrh. Violets and lily have disappeared. Dry down, sweet spicy juniper. It's strange how this blend on my skin gives me no violets or lily even though that was all I could smell inside the imp. The wonders of skin chemistry, I suppose.

Inside the imp, it's sweet peas. Wet on my skin, sweet pea and sage. A very light, girly scent. Drying down, I'm catching the musk note and now the tonka as well. Sage fades into background, but sweet pea is still main note on my skin.

Sniffing the imp, it's dark musk and myrrh. Very promising. Wet on the skin, I'm getting more pine and musk. No vetiver. Drys down to spicy dark resinous musk. Vetiver never made an appearance. I'm going to keep this imp. I like it enough to think about getting a bottle.

In the bottle, gingerbread. Wet on the skin, gingerbread with glazed sugar icing. On dry down, remains the same on my skin, but a little softer. Definitely one to try if you're a foodie scent lover.

In the bottle, I'm detecting cardamom/cinnamon and musk. Wet on my skin, cherry blossom, cinnamon, and amber musk, and tangerine. As it dries more, it settles to a softer amber musk, black tea, and tangerine. Love this blend!

In the bottle, very herbal. Wet on skin, honey sweetened herbal floral and moss. Dries down to honey, frankincense, and carnations. I'm not getting any smoky notes and I usually amp those. I'm not sure if I want to keep the bottle or not. I might try to just let it age and see what happens.

Sniffing the imp, I'm getting mostly an herbal green scent. Wet on my skin, still herbal and now citrus as well. The more it dries, the more soapy it goes on my skin.

Sniffing the imp, it's Dragon's Blood. On my skin, it's just the dragon's blood initially after application. As it dries, the sandalwood emerges. Goes very spicy once dry on my skin.
-
Sniffing the imp, it's lovely pomegranate. On my skin, I pick up the boozy martini note with the pomegranate. As it dries it goes a bit floral on my skin.
-
Sniffing the imp, it's sweet poppies. Wet on my skin, I now smell a bit of smoke mingle with the poppy note. Becomes a bit more smoky before it's fully dry. I like it, but I'm not sure I would reach for it on an every day basis.

Sniffing the imp, I'm hit with jasmine immediately. Wet on skin, still mostly jasmine and now honeysuckle. I can smell a bit of lemon too. Going very soapy on my skin. Dry it smells like soap on my skin.

This stuff is amazing. Sniffing the bottle, it reminds me of a few of the pumpkin patch blends, but once applied to my skin it turns into this wonderfully yummy lemon buttercream cake scent that lasts for hours with good throw. I applied some of this on my arms before heading out to the movies tonight and spent the entire movie huffing my arm every few minutes. I'm so happy to have a bottle of this. I just wish it was widely available for a back-up bottle.

Sniffing the imp, it's black musk and patchouli. Wet on my skin, I'm smelling the myrrh, musk, and patchouli. As it dries, it goes a bit smoky on my skin. Not enough to knock me over, but more than I normally like in my perfume.

Sniffing the imp, it's sweet herbs. Once applied to my skin, definitely floral with a bit of sugary sweetness. Dries down to just florals again. Too much of one type of note on my skin with this blend.

Sniffing the imp, I'm getting strong floral notes. On my skin, still strong floral and green tea. As it dries, it goes citrus floral.

The above reviews pretty much say it all. This is just a gorgeous scent and even floral haters may want to give it a try. It's soft, a bit aquatic, and just a little sweet. I'm definitely picking up soft lilac and a touch of citrus, but not lemon citrus. I'm really surprised how much I love this scent and am seriously contemplating a second bottle. A soft, clean summer scent.

Sniffing the imp, it's very green and fresh. Wet on my skin, aquatic lilies. Dries down to lilies and something green...ivy?
-
Sniffing the imp, it's a kind of nauseating bubble gum scent to my nose. Wet on the skin, it's lotus and orange with the orange being a little stronger. Much better than my original sniff of the imp. As it dries, floral note comes out & this goes a bit powdery on my skin. Dries to mostly citrus floral on my skin.
-
Sniffing the imp, I'm getting orchid and musk. Wet on the skin, bergamot and orchid and musk. Very clean & refreshing. Stays fairly true even dry. No patchouli note found on my skin.
-
Sniffing the imp, I'm getting vetiver. I think the lab loaded me down with sinister vetiverish frimps this time around. On my skin, it's patchouli (and not the good kind) and brimstone/vetiver. I need to wash this stuff off. It's giving me a headache.

Sniffing the imp, Whoa Honeydew Melon Wet on my skin, the honeydew and grape notes are duking it out. As it dries, sadly the honeydew wins (not a fan of melon scents). Dry it's honeydew and now floral. Really not my kind of scent.
-
Sniffing the imp, I'm getting plumeria and champagne. Wet on the skin, it's initially just plumeria, but as it drys I'm getting the chmpagne and pear notes as well now. Nice, but the plumeria note really gives it a strong floral throw on my skin. A little too much floral for my senses.
-
Sniffing the imp, it's all vetiver. Wet on skin, it's still mostly vetiver and a little neroli. I'm not getting any sandalwood here. Dries down to mostly neroli with vetiver in the background. Very dark, sinister scent.

Sniffing the bottle, it's jasmine and margarita mix. Wet on my skin, I'm getting the lime rind, Dorian, moss, and some floral. Fortunately, the jasmine is not coming out on my skin. Jasmine often goes bad with my chemistry. No snake oil though at this point. Dry, this is mostly lime, moss, and Dorian. I didn't really get any Snake Oil out of this blend. I'm hoping as the oil settles and ages though, the Snake Oil will come out.
