Sniffing the imp, it's an aquatic sour fruit. Wet on the skin, ocean water and melon. Dries back down to sour fruit and ocean water. Meh...it's not me.
-
Inside the bottle, plum and patchouli. Wet on my skin, it's initially sharp floral and a little bitter. The more this oil dries down, though, the more the plum emerges-----this incredibly dark & sexy plum musk scent mingled with patchouli.

I finally scored a bottle of this after searching for some time. And it's definitely worth the hype. Inside the bottle, butterscotch latte with just a whiff of smoke. Wet on the skin, caramel coffee and tobacco, a teensy bit smoky. On dry down, no more smoke or tobacco and I'm left with caramel coffee. I never got any cinnamon out of this, but I'm so very happy to finally have a bottle of this. A must for coffee note fans.

Sniffing the bottle, rich soil. Wet on the skin, sweetened dirt and myrrh and vaguely aquatic. Dries down to floral and earth notes. As "dirt" scents go, it's definitely the best one I have ever tried. I'm just not sure if this is me. I'm on the fence whether or not to keep it. I can see it turning into something amazing as it ages which tempts me to hang on to it for a while and see what happens.

Sniffing the bottle, it's bright, sweet incense. Wet on my skin, damn, this is NICE. It's herbal floral and incense, but also slightly sweet. As it dries, the saffron and frankincense notes are strongest. Good throw on my skin. Just a dab from the rim is producing a medium amount of throw. I could easily believe this is bottled sunshine.

Inside the bottle, molasses, vanilla, and moss. Wet on the skin, molasses and patchouli initially. As it begins to dry, moss becomes apparent. The more it dries, the more an earthy soil note emerges. Is that the moss note morphing? Fully dry, the soil/moss note is very faint and it's now mostly vanilla molasses on my arm. I never got red currants out of this and the patchouli note was strongest while wet and then faded nearly completely in the end.

Sniffing the bottle, oh yes, definitely reminiscent of Blue Fire and some of the Atomic Luau Tiki Bar scents. Wet on my skin, a boozy fruit scent. I'm picking up the lime, tangerine, blueberry, grape, and lemon for sure. Having trouble discerning the raspberry note though. No juniper yet either. Drying down, I now smell mostly lemon, blueberry, and grape, but this still seems slightly boozy on my skin. Even there are no booze notes in this... And the Juniper never came out on my skin test.

Sniffing the bottle, this is reminding me of Beaver Moon '05 and Velvet Unicorn. Wet on the skin, creamy marshmallow-y fruit with dandelion. The dandelion really does a good job of tempering the marshmallow from going too sweet. And it's a minor note on my skin. I'm getting mostly fruity marshmallow. As it dries, it's remaining much the same on my skin. Very nice..... Definitely a keeper.

In the bottle, cinnamon & chocolate. Wet on the skin, warm spices with chocolate and wine. Dries down spiced wine over a thin layer of chocolate. Definitely foody. And definitely one of my favorites. I've been trying not to buy back-up bottles so much, but, geez, this one is really tempting me. It brightens my mood just by sniffing my wrist. ETA: This has pretty strong throw on my skin. I just dabbed a little off the rim since I am testing other new scents and it's giving off quite a bit of throw for such a small amount.

My order arrived today. Among them are a few bottles without pics posted yet.

Inside the bottle, spicy carnation. Wet on my skin, the clove, cedar, and carnation notes are strongest. I agree this is a very resinous scent. As it begins to dry, I also begin to pick up the incense note. I'm not really getting any rose out of this scent, nor am I really smelling the pomegranate. Completely dry, it's clove, carnation, and incense. Lasts on my skin for several hours. This has a pretty strong throw on me---a little goes a long way.

Inside the imp, chocolate patchouli Wet on the skin, leather and cocoa and incense. While I like all of those notes, I don't necessarily enjoy them blended together here. I smell the patchouli more as it dries and powdery floral underneath.
-
Inside the imp, mint. Wet on my skin, eucalyptus & mint. As it dries, still mainly eucalyptus and mint with ozone..and rancid orchid. Off to the swap pile with this one.
-
Inside the bottle, mostly floral notes. On my skin, sakura and plum. Very soft and faint. Very little throw (I use bath oils as perfumes.) Not much of a morpher.
-
Inside the bottle, strong red musk scent. On my skin, red musk, orange blossom, and pomegranate. Resinous, fruity, but not foody. Average throw. Lasts several hours on my skin before fading completely.
-
Inside the bottle, light sweet tea scent. On my skin, very pale, soft musk & tea. I can't smell the jasmine at all. Leather note is not very strong either. It's delicate and fades quickly on my skin. Very little throw. I like this, but wish it had more staying power.

Aw, Lawn Gnome is so adorable.

Inside the imp, very spicy & resinous. On my skin, spicy ginger. Not getting any floral notes with this and no vanilla. As it dries, I am picking up the fruit notes underneath. Interesting, but not worthy of a full bottle, I don't think.
-
Inside the imp, bitter patchouli. On my skin, patchouli, bitter spices, and honeysuckle. Ewww, this is not good on my skin and needs washed off NOW.
-
Inside the imp & initially after application to my skin, it's a strong tea rose. After a few minutes, the geranium note emerges, but the rose still dominates the scent. This really isn't for me...reminds me too much of old lady perfume on my skin.
-
Inside the bottle, red currant. Wet on the skin, I've sniffing red currant, pink pepper, and amber the strongest. As it dries, oooh I'm getting a lovely blackberry note. Amber is disappearing and I can't pick out the honey note. Dries down to a spicy dark fruit scent.
-
Sniffing the bottle, it's mostly clove. Wet on my skin, clove is the strongest followed by orris and frankincense. Saffron stronger as it begins to dry. This is a lovely warm, sweet, and spicy scent.
-
On my skin, this is mostly tea, lotus, and light ginger. I'm not picking up any of the rose or jasmine notes at all on my skin--OK, maybe just a hint of rose, but it's very faint. Very delicate, light scent.

I wore some of this to bed last night...it's that good. Inside the bottle, it's mostly cherry/almond scent. On my skin, initially it's mostly cherry and pomegranate. Within about a minute after application, I smell the red musk and myrrh. As it dries further, there's the lovely blood orange. Definitely, a very red scent. Fully dry, it's fruity incense.
-
Inside the bottle, yup, that's red currant and honey, all right. On my skin (I usually apply bath oils directly on my skin), it's almost entirely red currant right after initial application. Very bright and fruity blend. Honey note become stronger as the oil dries on my skin. I imagine this being something I will reach for in the colder months though. It's a heavy, but beautiful dark fruit blend.
