My 'Weenie Order O' Doom arrived today. I think there are a few bottles in my pic not yet posted in the thread.
-
Inside the bottle, fruit, but I can't quite place what fruit. On the skin, spicy fruit and light floral....and almost a light cake note on my skin.
-
Sniffing the bottle, I'm getting mostly gardenia. Wet on my skin, still mostly gardenia to start. As it begins to dry, I'm beginning to get some of the lovely sweet peach. The more it dries, the more the gardenia settles down. Dries down to a lovely balance of gardenia and peaches.

Thank you edenssixthday for the testable sniffie. On my skin, this is all roses and dragon's blood on my skin. Pleasant enough, but I can pass on searching for a bottle.
-
The fabulous edenssixthday gifted me with a testable sniffie of this prototype. On my skin, I am getting oranges and almost a lemon citrus. I can understand the candied orange references in the previous reviews. Very light and pleasant scent. I hope to find a full bottle one of these days.

Oh, I love the artwork on the Weenies! Can't for mine to arrive tomorrow.

Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?
angelicruin replied to Snow White's topic in BPAL FAQs
Yes, like YoakeNoKami said, definitely give it more time. I placed my order on 8/5 minutes after the update and I have not yet gotten a CnS either. I'd give it at least another week and half or two before emailing the lab. I'm sure we'll all be getting our CnS' in the next few days. Although, I totally understand how easy it is to be anxious for your order. -

In the bottle, powdery lemon. On my skin, starts out as lemon meringue pie on my skin. As it begins to dry, this becomes more of a lemon/orange scent. This dries down to a lovely, sweet lemon-with-occasional-whiffs-of-orange scent. Definitely a keeper for me.

Sniffing the bottle, lemon, floral, and herbs. Starts out kind of minty on my skin, then as it dries more it becomes mostly lemon mingled with jasmine. I'm not sure if this scent is really me. It may go to the swap/sale pile after all.

As others have said, v3 is much more heavy sharp lavender than the released version of TKO. Personally, I prefer the released version because I like my oils softer with vanilla creaminess. v3 starts out sharp lavender on my skin, but softens as it dries. Once it's completely dry, I do get some vanilla/marshmallow scent mingled with the lavender, but not as much as the released version.
-
I've been comparing v2 with the released version trying to discern the differences. BOTH are amazing scents. v2 on my skin is much more fruity than the released version. I get lots of plum with v2. The released version seems spicier on my skin than v2. Also, while I get a small bit of floral from the released version, v2 has no floral throw on my skin. Interestingly, after both oils are fully dry, they smell nearly the same on my skin.

Sniffing the imp, very light throw of violets. On the skin, this goes to baby powder & floral. Not for me.
-
Sniffing the imp, I get mostly herbs. Wet on my skin, wood and spice. As it begins to dry, the woodiness dissipates and I begin to smell the currants and figs. Ends up drying down to a faint bit of spiciness and figs.
-
Thanks once again to the marvelous edenssixthday for sharing a testable sniffie with me so I could experience this prototype for myself. Upon application, this immediately goes to sweet baby powder on my skin. It actually smells a lot like Stinky on my skin. I like it, but as I said, the released blend of Stinky smells close enough to this that I don't feel the need to try to track down a bottle.

I didn't think I'd have an opportunity to test this one out, but thanks to the always generous edenssixthday, I was gifted a testable amount of this prototype. On my skin, it begins as a woodsy cinnamon and clove scent. About a minute after application it becomes nearly all cloves on my skin. Very warm, very pleasant. If this were ever to be released, I'd definitely be buying a bottle of it.

I was gifted with a testable amount of this by the lovely edenssixthday. Sniffing the imp and wet on my skin, it's smells like chocolate frosting. The more it dries though, it loses the chocolate-ness on my skin and begins to smell more like pink frosted cupcake with a dash of talcum powder. It's weird, but I like it, and I will be purchasing a bottle at some point once it's live at PostWarTrade.

On my review of the scent of La Flamme, I'm getting a deep orange scent on my skin along with red musk. Haven't had a chance to try this out on my husband, but I look forward to it this weekend.
-
Sniffing the bottle, this is very resinous. There's a slightly scorched quality to the scent. On my skin, I'm picking up red musk, wood, sage, and clove. Good throw to it and lasts several hours on my skin. I think this one will only get better with age.
-
Inside the imp, I'm sniffing mostly florals. On my skin, starts out spicy floral. Shortly after application, I pick up the cardamom and nutmeg. The floral is still there, but the spices are stronger now that it's nearly dry. I really like this one. A very balanced blend.
-
Sniffing the imp, it's butterscotch and sugar. But very faint, light. On my skin, this is still very faint with little throw to it...I'm getting the caramelized sugar, but not really any of the cream note. It's a nice scent, but I think I would have to bathe in a vat of this to get any kind of throw. Happy I was able to try it, but very glad I don't feel compelled to track down an entire bottle of it.

Oh. my. goodness. This is so YUMMY. Like gnaw-your-wrists-off-it-smells-so-good-yummy. Wet on my skin, this is initially all blackberry jam. No scones at all. About midway through the drying process, I pick up the scones note, but by the time it dries fully, it's back to being all blackberry jam. And that is just fine with me. I was fortunate to happen upon a bottle for sale on LJ last weekend and snagged it up. I will definitely be buying multiple bottles of this when it finally debuts on the postwartrade website, which will hopefully be soon!

I received a bottle of Blackberry Jam & Scones today. Smells amazing and I love the label design.

I have to go with the majority who describe this as a softer version of TKO. I love Lavender, but while the TKO blend is a sharp lavender, this is much more mellow. I get lavender & vanilla tea out of this blend...and maybe...maybe a little lemon in the background. A very comforting, peaceful scent. I've slathered it on my arms for bedtime tonight.
