On my skin, lichen and also has an aquatic quality to it. A vague sweetness, kind of like apple, I suppose. And I cannot detect any of the black incense.

This starts out as stinky patchouli and very bitter, but within 10 minutes morphs into this gorgeous sweetened clove, woodsy incense, and vanilla scent. Quite a surprise hit for me.

I'm getting peppermint and eucalyptus out of this blend after initial application. I get that same creamy Snow White-like throw as it dries. I'll definitely keep my decant, but I don't see myself purchasing a bottle of it.

Sharp metallic right after application. Develops a citrus-like scent shortly thereafter (common on my skin with metal notes). Stays sharp and metallic through drydown. Interesting blend, but nothing I would reach for regularly

Another jasmine blend that I cannot do. The honeysuckle and jasmine are death notes in this blend for me. I will passing my decant along to someone else.

Very sharp gardenia to start. This one turns to soap scent on my skin in less than 2 minutes and remains that way through dry down.

This is much lovelier than I thought it would be. I get mostly sweet apple blossom, sandalwood, and fruit. Nice because it's not too fruity, nor is it overpowering floral. I think I may purchase a bottle of this soon. For now, I will enjoy my decant.

Definitely woodsy and herbal, but something else that make this smell like Pine Sol on my skin. Another bomb on my skin.

Ugh. This is JASMINE in your face. I can't smell any of the other notes beyond the cat pee smell on my skin. Off to wash my hands and throw this one into the frimp pile. Maybe someone else will have better success with it.

On my skin, this is initially cherry, but the licorice emerges very soon after application. In fact, the licorice keeps the cherry note in check. (Cherry normally amps like crazy on me.) I love this scent. Licorice is one of my favs. Must get a bottle of this with my next BPAL order.

On my skin, this is red musk and cloves. Very deep, rich scent. Last hours on my skin.

This starts off as light citrus grapefruit. Floral notes emerge quickly. Has an aquatic feel to it. Very light throw and fades a bit fast on me.

Wet on my skin, this smells like slightly scorched caramel. The "scorched" scent dissipates as it begins to dry and the caramel settles down too. I begin to scent the red musk, patchouli, and nutmeg notes. Dry the caramel is totally gone on my skin and I'm left with just the red musk and patchouli with a floral tinge to it.

Wet on my skin, this is a very light, dusty scent. Blood Orange and lemongrass notes gives it a citrus zest. Between the wet and dry stage it threatens to turn "soapy", but it finally dries down to a beautiful light floral dusty citrus scent. Very feminine.
-
On my skin, dusty plum and orange notes. No trace of coconut for me and the caramel eludes my skin as well.

Warm and spicy pastry. Apricot Jam is very much the strongest note for me. Cherries are surprisingly tame on my skin. (I usually amp cherry/almond notes.)

This is very spicy & buttery baked scent. Heavy on the nuts and nutmeg. I like it, but I am not sure how often I will wear it.

On my skin, cocoa and black musk. Just gorgeous.

It's coffee liqueur with egg nog. The more it dries, the more it reminds me of Egg Nog Latte from last year's WC Toy Drive. Very pleasant smelling and definitely puts you in the holiday mood.

On my skin, I get this sexy blend of chocolate, plum, and red musk. Good lasting power on my skin too. I was wise in purchasing a bottle unsniffed.

This is my FAVORITE of the District series thus far. The honey notes are fantastically awesome on my skin. It does have a tangy lemon quality that mingles with all that honey. I just can't stop huffing my wrist...

This scent is a perfect balance of magnolia and peach on my skin. I just love it. Makes me think of warmer weather.

This starts out as tea rose, mostly. The bourbon vanilla note comes out to play a few minutes later. I'm not really picking up either the patchouli or pink pepper notes. Just tea rose with light vanilla in the background.

Starts out as amber and orange. I agree it's a very "sunny" scent. As usual, the frankincense note emerges several minutes after initial application. And light florals. Dry, it's soft orange, amber, and saffron.

In the wet stage, it's heavy with clove. The tonka and tobacco emerge as it begins to dry. I get wafts of the peach blossom too. Dry, it's a spicy woody scent. Clove is still there, but much milder than it was to begin with.
