Here are the C2E2 exclusive scents: Below are pics of the debut bottles I bought for myself:
-
Strong gardenia and jasmine on my skin. Not a favorite for my skin. Very heavy floral notes.
-
I'm going to agree with the vanilla & licorice prior reviews. Very reminiscent of Humbug on my skin right after initial application. As it begins to dry, I still have the licorice scent on my skin, but the vanilla turns more smoky, but not heavy smoky. I like this version of Absinthe almost as much as v7.
-
Sweet myrrh and something fruity. I had expected this to be more green with the herb note, but instead it is much nicer than I thought it would be.
-
Soft, dusty floral in this one. I can really pick up the frankincense, rose, and something else, though I am not sure which of the other notes it is. This is actually kind of reminding me a bit of B340. Very nice, even with it being a fairly heavy floral blend.
-
Tuberose, poppy, and opium smoke are strongest. I actually kind of like this one, but it's still a bit too heavy on the florals for me to wear it with any regularity.
-
Heavy heavy jasmine and honeysuckle in this blend. I need to wash this off my arm....bleh
-
Sweet baked yummy-ness. Plum pudding, brandy, & raisins are the strongest notes on my skin.
-
Yes this is definitely pine, honey, and bit of smoke. Interesting, but not anything I'd wear often.
-
Myrrh, opoponax, and clove are strongest on my skin. Love this scent. It's dark, slightly sweet, sexy, and spicy all at once.
-
This is sharp green floral on my skin. A little wood too. And I am not really getting the sweet tea scent others are reporting. Sad skin chemistry.
-
Starts off heavy on the frankincense and wood. Carnation emerges a little, but doesn't really stand out for me. Unfortunately, the mixture of floral notes makes the entire scent go soap on my skin before it even begins to really dry down.
-
Heavy mixed floral on me and turns to soap shortly after application.
-
I will be buying a bottle of this at C2 next weekend if the Lab has it available for purchase there. This is gorgeous on my skin. Soft rose, orris, and coconut on me.
-
This smells like freshly baked scones and tea on my skin. Quite pleasant.
-
Very woody and green on my skin. As it dries, it goes very soapy on my skin. Unfortunately, this is not for me.
-
2008 Version This actually smells almost exactly like the Trunk Show Exclusive imp "Cinnamon Sugar Cookies & Egg Nog" on my skin.
-
The jasmine note just kills this scent on my skin. I can't pick up any of the other floral notes, except maybe a little of the lily. I don't like jasmine notes on my skin, especially when that's pretty much all I can smell, so this is back to the frimp pile.
-
Thanks to Edens Sixth Day for a frimp decant of this prototype. It's definitely bright, fizzy, sparking, champagne. Makes me think of New Year's Eve!

Vampire Tarot: The Priestess

Sandalwood, slightly sweet & a little fruity, but I also pick up the nicotiana note. So far my favorite of the Vampire Tarot scents, but I think I will just hang onto a decant rather than get an entire bottle. -
This is very strong lemon and herbal on my skin. As it dries, I pick up the cardamom spice, but it stays very lemony on the dry down. I love it much more than the 2009 version, but I am a lemon lover too.
-
Sharp green floral on my skin.
-
On my skin, this smells exactly like a dusty road mingled with leather and tobacco. Amazingly accurate to the scent name.
-
Slivers of warm, pulsating blood forever crystallized in golden amber resin. I'm getting almost all dragon's blood out of this blend, and not much in the way of amber.
-
Pink Pepper is definitely the strong note in this blend. I smell the amber in the background, but can't really pick up the floral notes. On dry down, this is still all about the pink pepper.
