This is strong pine and juniper on me....with a little myrrh in the background.
-
Oddly enough, I don't really get much of the jasmine. I'm smelling mostly rose, sage, and patchouli on my skin.
-
Tea rose and honeysuckle notes dominate this scent, but the milk & honey notes do soften it and keep it from being an explosion of floral on my skin.
-
Rose and peach blossom are the strongest notes right after application. As it dries, I get more of a green floral vibe from this scent...and I don't get any of the black musk.
-
2010 Version: This is a rich, creamy scent on me. Lots of nutmeg in it too. Once completely dry though, it turns into a soft vanilla scent.

MR. VANDEMAR The second of the visitors, a tall man, the one he had thought of as a wolf, his gray and black hair cut bristle-short, stood a little behind his friend, holding a stack of photocopies to his chest. He had said nothing until this moment---just waited, huge and impassive. Now he laughed, once, low and dirtily. There was something unhealthy about that laugh. Dark and gangly, with a glint of razor-sharp stainless steel behind it: opopponax, costus, black pepper, black sandalwood, and polished metal. Skin tested at C2. I got light opopponax, pepper, & metallic out of this blend.

Dark musk and light patchouli on me and what may be rhubarb. I like this much better than I thought I would.

Sharp green floral and mint. Very wintery smelling.

Strawberry Lemon Drop Candy Cane

This is mostly peppermint right after application to my skin. As it begins to settle and dry on me, I get more fizzy lemon and a hint of strawberry, but the mint remains the strongest note on me. -
Fizzy raspberry ginger ale on my skin.
-
Minty shortbread cookies. Yum!
-
A spicy holiday bread with clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Very gourmand.

Chocolate Espresso Gingerbread

Wowsa. Love this one. It's like gingerbread cookie and brownies blended with expresso. -
This has BPAL's traditional snow note vibe to it. Soft, sweet, aquatic, and vaguely minty. I love wearing these snow blends more in summer though than in the chilly winter months. Still, it's a very lovely scent and I am glad I took a chance on buying a bottle blind.

Soft amber, musk, vanilla, and barely-there floral note. I could wear this perfume all year long.
-
Mulled wine and marzipan. Yes, much like Gluhwein, but I love this one just a little more. Seems just a bit more sweet. Definitely worthy of the bottle I picked up after testing a decant of it.

Wow. Tobacco, leather, and just a bit of hazelnut coffee. I agree that it's damn close to Spanked that I have only known in sniffie quantities. I predict this will age marvelously.
-
This one just had too much ginger and not enough of the other notes on me to warrant keeping.
-
Overload of sugary hard candy and mint! Aptly named.
-
Lots of chocolate and pomegranate on me, though I definitely also smell the orange blossom. I love pomegranate scents, so this one is very pleasant to my nose. Kind of reminds me a bit of Pomegranate IV from this year's Weenies.

Sugary sweet plum, apricot, and amber define this scent on me.
-
The honey note starts out pretty strong, but fades quickly and I am left with mostly tea rose and carnation notes with a faint bit of honey that just barely sweetens the blend. This is a very soft, delicate scent on my skin. Very nice.

This scent is :love!: on my skin. It's a beautiful blend of vanilla, red currant, and a bit of citrus tempered with sage and cedar.
-
Heavy sherry note in this one with a slight smoky quality. Very nice!
