One of my absolute favorite perfumes ever! Hungry Ghost Moon is a sophisticated green oriental scent. To me, it's mostly fresh, sweet, sugar cane with ginger and grapefruit, with a base of sandalwood. It's so well blended and comple, it's hard to pick out individual notes. A fantastic perfume for sultry summer nights.

Twenty-one was juniper wood from start to finish. I got none of the nuance I was hoping for- just a fresh cut juniper scent that lasted about two hours.

Very berry on me, with a cool, clean breeze behind it. I get a touch of lavender in the throw, but the up close skin sniff is fresh red fruit. I like it more than I suspected I would at first sniff- this is an excellent hot summer night scent.

Unfortunately I am not getting any cherry, just a very soapy white floral that has given me an instant headache. I had high hopes for this one; I'll try it again another day to see if I'm just having a bad perfume episode.

Cookie Crisp Cereal with raisins. Suddenly I am nine years old and watching Monkees reruns while eating cereal. Definitely evocative, but not really something I was hoping for.

The reddest of all red scents- to me, this is even redder than Red Phoenix. It's warmed by the lovely clove-like scent of carnation, and filled out with the sweetest, ripest plum. There's a catch, though: In the vial it's decidedly fruity, with a bit of marmalade scent on top of the plum. No, scratch that- it's actualy just like spiced plum jam. Wet, the carnation comes to the forefront, and there's a bit of a dusky green scent in there as well. I actually have a gardening client that has large pots planted with all red flowers, including miniature red carnations and oxblood colored chrysanthemums. This smells a lot like that pot of flowers. However, I can totally understand where people are getting the spiced candle impression. As it dries, it gets a bit more plummy. I love fruity scents, but there's just something about this one... CURSE YOU YANKEE CANDLE COMPANY I think if I could shake that impression, I'd really love Bandersnatch. It smells yummy- I just don't like being reminded of shopping malls.

I'm very jealous of everyone else in this thread. On me, the Mouse is pure baby powder. When it's just applied, I get a bit more nuance. The sweet woodiness of the sandalwood is more apparent, and there's a creamy floral in there as well. (At this point, the Mouse is very reminiscent of a spray-on conditioner I personally scented with vanilla, violet, and vetiver, which I loved.) Unfortunately, upon drydown the vanilla gets powdery and it's all downhill from there.

Wet this scent is bright, floral lily. I wasn't sure I'd be able to wear it without getting a headache from the heavy floral overdose, but once on my skin it softens and carmelizes. It's a bit hard to describe because it's not really "lily plus X"- it's more like the scent change a flower goes through in the garden- sharp and green, then a bit more floral, then right before the bloom starts to wither it reaches a deep, polleny creaminess. I can't really imagine this flower as being dark (I've tried to visualize it as one of those deep maroon asiatic lilies)- the picture in my mind is of a large white lily on a sultry night, when the rising sun in the morning is going to cause the bloom to drop off the stalk. Very rich, heady, and sweet, just on the cusp of powdery decay. It's quite lovely.

I wasn't very impressed with this scent when I first got it, but over the past month or so I find myself reaching for it more than any other. On me it smell like black tea with milk and the teeniest bit of honey in it. Sometimes I think I catch a whiff of fresh linen, or lemon, but they are just fleeting impressions. I can't detect the black pepper or ginger, unfortunately, as I love those scents, however White Rabbit has become thoroughly addictive anyway. It's a very fresh, clean, warm scent- nothing in the least sultry or sexy, although I don't think I'd use the term 'innocent' to describe it either. For me, it's just a perfect second skin sort of smell.

Wet, this has a bit of an alcoholic tinge, which along with the pear is somewhat reminiscent of cough syrup. As it dries, the sharper smell goes away, and it morphs into a flowery carmelized pear scent. The rose in this is one of those deep red spicy smelling roses, with just a bit of creamy magnolia and green tuberose to round it out. It's a perfect scent for a brisk, sunny, early autumn day. I noticed a few posts of people who had worn this to bed- a day or two after I got this imp as a freebie, I spilled half of it all over me right before bed. It was one of the best nights of sleep I had had in a while! There's definitely a soothing, gentle quality to this scent, and on me it lasts for a few hours. It's not something I think to put on before going out, but I like having this smell around me. It's very evocative and dreamy. reread the actual descrition, and what I'm calling tuberose is no doubt the plumeria, which is also a pale green tropical smell for me.

I really like this one. I imagine sitting in a deep leather armchair in a dark, wood-panelled library Late afternoon sun slants through gaps in red velvet drapes, illuminating a crystal decanter of cherry brandy next to an antique ivory chessboard... It's a very rich, evocative scent. Initially sweet in the wet stage, it dries down to a woody, mellowed cherry on my skin. A lovely room scent as well... and I rubbed a little into my folding travel chessboard from India, because I'm dorky like that.
