Now, I'm not a very sophisticated sniffer yet, but I love the spicy, earthy sharpness to this. I do like lavender but only when it is well blended in a rich way like with this...it has an amazing complexity and is satisfyingly dark but also awakening. One of my top ten so far!!

A catalytic, potent love oil used to spark (or rekindle) the flame of desire between lovers. Fire of Love came as an imp from the lab with my first bpal bottle order. I fell in love instantly. It has a wonderful, warm golden spiciness mixed with a slightly sharp naughtiness which can only be the civet. It doesn't smell rank at all, rather it smells musky, sexy, hot and spicy, in a warm, womanly way. I don't get this as a man scent but I think it's quite gender neutral. I've tried a lot of bpal and I can still stay this is my fave. I'm so glad civet likes me and I love civet! I also really like Debauchery but when I'm in a more purely freaky mood or want to be...fire of love inspires seduction, arousal and day long wrist sniffing!! Bravo!

Not a bad floral, warm and yeah a bit soapy now that a few mentioned it, makes me sneeze a little! I was wondering which of these new imps was doing that. I don't really smell the patchouli but my nose is such a novice. It's well balanced but a bit too subtle and floral for me. I'll probably use up the imp though

Azrael is the Angel of Death, marked as the last being to die in the Apocalypse. Though a harbinger of doom, his duties are an act of mercy: he curtails human life before world-weariness and despair destroys our spirits. Warm myrrh swirled with a bittersweet blend of violet, Lily of the Valley, juniper, cypess and cajeput. I love love love this so much wet, I love the deep green scent, and the warm floral spiciness, so well blended! I'm not a huge fan of florals, and I was testing a couple of imps out today and one had a lot of throw and I could smell it wafting up to my nose which doesn't happen to me often I wear oils. It's pretty strong and so beautiful but on me it fades pretty quickly to a more traditional perfume smelling floral, it's almost worth constant application, but I have to do one more test to know for sure.

The mix of musk with spices and cranberries is brilliant, but it was far, far too cranberry fruity on me. I've discovered I'm really not a fan of any fruit blends as a perfume oil so far, but I like orange. Given to a less picky friend who adored it!

Ooh I love this one! It's on the top of my next bottle buy list. Beautifully balanced blend of sandalwood, rose and patchouli. I'm not a big fan of strong patchouli blends unless they are seriously sweetened. This is just perfect, light, incensey, feminine and spicy. It's a great everyday blend for me. I love the Indian culture and mythology and so does my boyfriend and I picked this one up because he thinks Rakshasas are sexy, heh. I'm not a big rose fan but this is just gorgeous.

I'm still discovering what I do and don't like in perfume oils. I love this scent, but not on me. I would adore this as a shampoo or lotion, but it just doesn't suit my personality to wear as a perfume. Lovely sharp, intense blend of lavendar and lemon..

A piercing, radiant perfume: dragon's blood resin, lily of the valley, lilac and galbanum. Dragon's Blood is pretty subtle to my nose, period, I was really hoping to like the Dragon blends more than I have. I can smell the dragon's blood when I first put this on, alternating between the lilac/lily of the valley and that while it is wet. As it dries, for me it turns completely floral, and since I already have a single note lily of the valley that I never use, I think this will be going to the swaps.

I ordered a bottle of this from the start, because I was looking for a scent with similar notes that was my favorite from another supplier who is now out of business. I was looking for a mix of egyptian musk and civet so I picked this out right away. I was a little disappointed to find that it really didn't smell much like my coveted favorite at all, but Debauchery has grown on me. I do like musky, dirty smells, so I think it was destined to become something I can wear. I've never smelled anything else with opium in so I am not sure how much of an effect it has, but there is definitely, as others have said, a sharp, animalistic feel to this one, that is quite overpowering, but sexy just the same. I can see how some would be put off by it. I, however, am not a fan of light florals and such, and it doesn't change on me to anything unsavory, so I dig it. My man seems to jump on me when I'm wearing it, though he denies it is anything to do with the scent, I think it may be subconscious

I received this in as a generous frimp from a recent bottle swap. It was on my list of scents to try, as I've just seen a lovely outdoor production of Midsummer Night's Dream here in Toronto. The musk and patchouli notes were what made me want to try it, and I've always loved the beauty of orchids, but my untrained nose has trouble picking out various floral scents from each other, but perhaps that is because I generally don't like florals. This definitely feels like a feminine scent to me, the floral hits me first but it doesn't give me an instant *hate* reaction because it is tempered by the musk. I'm not sure how much I like white musk but I think I prefer the darker or more rich musks, but this definitely saves the scent for me, and makes it wearable. It's a nice summer scent, but I find that even in the summer I don't wear light scents much. My man isn't much of a sniffer but he says he only smells pine disinfectant, I think he's sick of me putting my wrist under his nose. It's okay for me, I'll use up the imp, but won't likely order a bottle.

This is my first review! The lab included Severin in my first order as a freebie, thank you so much! I was thrilled to try it out since I just read and enjoyed Venus in Furs. Now without looking at the ingredients, I spilled too much on my skin and Anise struck me in the nose, but that impression faded quickly, and I got a Bergemot vibe. Usually I can't wear light, crisp scents, and I've certainly never really liked a citrus on me before! I absolutely hate fruity perfumes, so I'm trilled that there is a scent that isn't too overpoweringly fruity at all and so I can vary up my repetoire from the heavy, dark, sexy scents I love. I don't get the leather but my nose is really untrained. I have a 5ml of Casanova that I tried on myself briefly but it smelled a tad too manly on me, I didn't get the leather on that either, and I do love the smell of leather--perhaps I just don't know what note to pick out. I'm not sure I sense the teas but I get the pale herby quality of bergamot. I'd definitely wear it again and it's for sure going on my wanted bottles list! It's a really nice summer/spring/day scent.

Thank you for the recommendations and descriptions! The Rhiannon's Dream also has a sweet, sort of syrupy or rich scent to it, that isn't floral at all, hard to describe, I'm such a newbie. I'm not sure what that impression could be, but I'm having fun trying new things and discovering what I like and don't like. I bought Bengal as one of my first four bottles, and I love it! It's nice and spicy, and warm. Luperci is in the mail to me right now on a swap, and many that were suggested are on my to try list. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to reply, and especially for providing details about scents that weren't in the descriptions! I've got bunches more to think about for swaps or in purchasing an imp pack.

Hi everyone! This is my first post and all. I've always been into oils but haven't worn or collected them much, I had a real favorite but the company (Moon Scents) shut down, and I am seeking something similar. I'm not really scent savvy yet, but I looked at the ingredients of this particular oil and it said that it contained Egyptian Musk and Civet (synthetic). I recently bought Debauchery, and while it is quite nice, it doesn't smell much like the one I was after (Rhiannon's Dream.) I suspect RD may have had other "secret scents" but to my untrained nose it seemed to contain something more rich and spicy, maybe patchouli? I've been compiling a list from the BPAL search engine of oils to try, as I recently placed an order and quite enjoyed what I received, and I'm looking to branch out and try others that I may like. The imps were such a lovely surprise, thank you BPAL! Do any of you who like earthy, musky, dark, resiny scents have some recommendations? So has anyone tried Rhiannon's Dream from Moon Scents and has a suggestion for a smell-alike?
